My father was taken care by Dr Philip Eng for the past 5 years for his poor lung function. My father conditions has improved so much and requires minimum inhaler. His quality of life has drastically improved. Dr Philip and his entire team (nurses, clinic assistants) have been exceptional for consultation, treatment and caring service. Dr. Philip Eng is a medical expert in treating asthma. I have personally chosen him as my pulmonologist because of his thorough treatment of patients in Mount Elizabeth ICU. Those expections were more than met when I have become his patient. He has a keen interest to understand my health situation. He doesn't seem rushing during consultation which gave me more time to tell him the information that would help for my treatment. He well managed my asthma, in fact, it didn't get worse during my 2nd Covid infection because of the right dosed medications. I am always happy to come back for consultation.

I accidentally discovered a very small GGO (ground glass opacity) in the upper lobe of the right lung during a CT cardiac arteriography in 2021. Follow-up was then conducted for two years according to Dr Philip Eng's recommendation. During the reexamination scan in 2023, it was found that the shape and volume of GGO had changed and increased. DR Philip Eng, with his professional experience and attitude toward patients and their caregivers, decisively asked me to consider surgery to remove the lesions to avoid future complications. Because I had great trust in Dr. Philip Eng’s medical skills and judgment, another famous thoracic surgeon, DR Agasthian, performed minimally invasive surgery on my lung ground glass nodules within a short period of time. The result was that cancer cells were sprouting. The decision to have surgery proved to be the right one. Everything returned to normal after surgery and was followed up regularly. I am very grateful to DR Philip Eng. In addition to his rich medical experience, he is also a very serious, rigorous, careful and patient loving doctor. I will feel at ease and relieved under his careful care. I am also very grateful to the other members of Dr Philip Eng's medical team for their professional and enthusiastic services.
