My father was taken care by Dr Philip Eng for the past 5 years for his poor lung function. My father conditions has improved so much and requires minimum inhaler. His quality of life has drastically improved. Dr Philip and his entire team (nurses, clinic assistants) have been exceptional for consultation, treatment and caring service. Dr. Philip Eng is a medical expert in treating asthma. I have personally chosen him as my pulmonologist because of his thorough treatment of patients in Mount Elizabeth ICU. Those expections were more than met when I have become his patient. He has a keen interest to understand my health situation. He doesn't seem rushing during consultation which gave me more time to tell him the information that would help for my treatment. He well managed my asthma, in fact, it didn't get worse during my 2nd Covid infection because of the right dosed medications. I am always happy to come back for consultation.

In 2021, during a CT angiography, I accidentally discovered a tiny ground-glass opacity (GGO) in the right upper lobe. Following Dr. Philip Eng's advice, I underwent two years of follow-up. A follow-up scan in 2023 revealed that the GGO had changed in shape and size. Dr. Philip Eng, with his professional experience and his dedication to patients and their caregivers, decisively recommended that I consider surgery to remove the lesion and prevent future complications. Because I had great confidence in Dr. Philip Eng's medical skills and judgment, Dr. Agasthian, another renowned thoracic surgeon, performed minimally invasive surgery on my ground-glass opacity within a short period of time. The results showed that the cancer cells were still in the process of germinating. The decision to operate proved to be a successful one. Following the surgery, everything has returned to normal and I have been undergoing regular follow-up visits. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Philip Eng. In addition to his extensive medical experience, he is also a very dedicated, rigorous, attentive, patient, and caring doctor. I feel safe and secure under his meticulous care.
