Never Again.|I arrived at just before 10pm, the consierge couldn't be bothered getting off his stool to open the door or assist me with my luggage. I guess his Sudoku was more important.|The window ledge in my room had nails/screws protruding, the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted and there was a blood stain on the sheet of the bed.|It was the F1 weekend, so this hotel made hay while the sun shined and charged me SGD$423 for the privilege of staying in this rats nest.|As an IHG Platinum Member I expected more, however, this has to be the worst, most run down Holiday Inn in their property portfolio.|I was offered some points to compensate for this disaster, but they are next to worthless.
For $275USD I was underwhelmed by the room but I guess that’s Singapore. However the staff were extremely professional and the hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was alright but get in early as it got very busy. Room service was a rort. The gym and pool were both old and small. The hotel overall didn’t have much going for it if I’m being honest but I really liked the design of the inside part of the building with “Metropolis” vibes. Also I have to add how I really enjoyed being able to watch AFL on the free to air T.V.
The rooms were comfortably sized. Not too small. All the rooms with the entrance facing the large atrium makes it more open in comparison to the traditional halfway in most hotels.
There is a restaurant in the hotel and the mrt entrance is very close.
This is the first time my family stayed at this hotel. We had a wonderful experience. The ‘kids eat free’ policy and discounts for dining are awesome, and food at the Atrium Restaurant was delightful. We missed the lounge food as we had dinner at the Atrium Restaurant. The reception gave us a complimentary upgrade for our room. The housekeeping and concierge staff were super friendly and welcoming. Well done to all the hotel staff. One small suggestion - consider installing bidets in bathrooms.
Crisphanie service is very good and she entertained all the tables, she checked and talked to them. Always smiling for me her service is power. Because of her I bought a bottle and will come back for more. Kudos!
Room was clean and prompt service from housekeeping for additional chair and water request. Dinner served by Carmen. All was helpful and friendly.
Great hotel friendly staff and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety and always fresh.
We choose holiday inn singapore atrium to hold our wedding lunch banquet.
We are extremely glad and thankful to have Sheena with us on this journey. Sheena guided us on the to do and preparation that we need to do before the wedding.
During our wedding banquet day, we are extremely thankful that Justin manage the timeline well and everything goes smoothly as per plan. Justin also guided us well on the timeline and what to do next etc.
To sum it up, we are glad and thankful to have Sheena & Justin to manage and coordinate our wedding banquet lunch! Thank you for making our wedding a successful one!
After a stressful ordeal at a hotel that shall not be named, I ended up doing a last minute booking here. I was blown away at how nice it was.
The staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs, the decor was very interesting and the lifts were really cool.
The location is in a sort of undeveloped area however it’s right next to the MRT station which has direct access to many places including Marina bay.
Could get a few benefits thanks for my membership status. But among other SG hotels, their customer service wasn’t the best. The check in receptionist missed a few remarks and additional services we pre-purchased.
Ms Aileen is Superb!! ❤️ Together with her, our wedding banquet was a great one. A very funny & cute lady to get along with during the whole planning. She is very much flexible to cater for our need & wants, response was very fast to our queries. Banquet was as smooth with Justin too👍 Hotel room was nicely set up with pretty desserts, very on point follow up calls to ensure our food was delivered🫶 Everything was great!
Rooms are bit older in style but all good equipped and everything functional. Very supportive and super kind personell.
We went there for a wedding banquet and it was amazing that the new Havelock stn is just right in front of the hotel. Also, the dinner was surprisingly GOOD!
1) I like the "no frills" bathroom, the amenities are all within reach and handy. The shower is user friendly.
2) I had thought the prices aren't cheap especially when the location was slightly out of the way but was quite surprised that the Atrium Restaurant is fully booked for one week for dinner buffet.
3) If Concord Shopping Centre improves further by having more shops that are relevant enough to support the Hotel, I won't be surprised that the hotel room reservation will be fully booked during December. However, I hope that will not increase the room rate at this Hotel that goes by 'no frills' concept.
I had great time with my family over the weekend. At the Atrium bar at the ground level, Kuhan and Chris was really polite and helpful, provided great service, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends, thanks to them
Rooms & swimming pool are dated for the price, needs refurbishing. Lobby architecture still retained its grandness. Breakfast was slightly below par for a 4 star hotel
Had our wedding banquet at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. We are super delighted and grateful to the team for making our day extra special.
Special thanks to Sheena for guiding us and arranging everything, and Aizal for ensuring everything goes smoothly on wedding day.
The rooms are in need of some major updating and work. We used it as a base to sleep but the bathrooms need modernization. The access to the pool is not reduced mobility friendly. The staff are lovely and friendly.
Good location next to MRT stop and food market a short distance away. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Room quiet. Breakfast was good quality and good variety. Dinner buffet was even better. Nice pool. Good service from staff. Only negative was rooms are a bit tired and need a makeover. Also there was a musty smell on arrival which improved over time with the Aircon on.
It was such an aweing hotel even after staying here 16+ years ago. If you need a taxi, the concierge would help you get one. The employees do speak and understand English. The views are nice and got the same view as before since I was watching people play tennis across the street.
There's a buffet restaurant there but I didn't go to it this time around. McDonald's a 5-min walk if you prefer that instead.
There's a small store near the lobby if you want to buy food and drinks.
It's about 20+ minutes from Changi Airport. Not far from Marina Bay and the malls, right in the city about.
If you go to Singapore to visit, get this hotel.
The venue is very fancy and the rooms are great and spacious. Some features seem a bit unclear from the website and there are things like self-serve Laundry machines which are significantly more expensive than nearby. Extremely well situated for transport throughout the city with great bus and train links. The communal areas manage to stay relatively calm even in busy periods so it's great to relax or people watch. There were unexpected room cleaning fees. The gym was decently equipped & the pool looked good though was closed for my stay due to weather.
The room was quite clean, as was the bathroom. We appreciated the fact that we got a few bottles of water every day. One miss which is quite frequent in a lot of hotels and this was no exception was the number of towels: we booked the room for 3 and got towels for 2.
We didn't like the super expensive dinner buffet ($75) and the a-la-carte restaurant was super slow and every time they mixed up our order...
The swimming pool is quiet poor, too.
Had our wedding banquet at Holiday Inn. Super satisfied with the services rendered by the events manager Aileen, who was friendly, flexible, very prompt in her replies and accomodating even when we had last minute changes.
Food was awesome and it was great fun for us. Prices were reasonable and the free flow alcohol was a great bonus for our guests. Had 2 nights of the bridal suite with breakfast and free lounge access which we were super happy about.
Special shoutout to Zai who helped our on our actual day, very reassuring and clear when giving us instructions. Thanks also for the complimentary wine! We had a blast, will definitely recommend Holiday Inn for couples looking to hold a wedding banquet.
Fabulous Hotel, great rooms, good location and outstanding breakfast.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 4-night stay at the Holiday Inn Atrium. I was well taken care of by Mia at the front desk (thanks again!). It was nice to be recognised as a Diamond Elite member with a decent upgrade to a high-floor room. Great view of the Singapore skyline (unfortunately some of the skyscrapers block the view of Marina Bay Sands, you can just see the end of it). The Atrium within the hotel is awe-inspiring, and taking the lifts with glass windows up and down was a treat every day (the stay is worth it for this alone!). Appreciated the Ecobonus points (which were promptly deposited to my IHG account after my stay) for electing not to have my room made up some days. Waste removal and water bottle replenishment were still available on request and extremely prompt. Breakfast was also excellent with a great spread of western and Asian food. All the staff I encountered were friendly and very good at their jobs. Loved having the new MRT station right outside the hotel too. The only negative I would note is that, while the Atrium design is very cool, some parts can be a little dated. Especially in the rooms, where if you turn the aircon off, the "old wood"-type smell can linger a bit. Nonetheless, an excellent value stay that punches above its weight compared to higher-end brands!
Hosted our wedding at Holiday Inn Atrium in December 2023 and had an amazing experience with the team, our stay was also welcoming & comfortable. Would like to shout out to Sheena for answering my endless queries patiently and Justin for helping out on the actual day, the event wouldn’t run so smoothly without them. Will definitely recommend this hotel to couples, it’s located conveniently beside Havelock MRT station and has beautiful bubble lifts for great pictures. ♥️
I highly recommend this hotel. From staff, ammenities and food. The hotel has a nice location. My family loved the buffet breakfast. I also appreciate the staff that welcomed us.. jess was her name, very good at her job, friendly and so helpful.
The location is great and the staff are friendly.
They also upgrade my room to a suite room
This is a hotel that is worth recommending. It is just right above the MRT and is extremely close to downtown and prime shopping areas. The room is a little old but the facilities are comprehensive and very family friendly. Most importantly, the service staffs are kind and supportive. Makes our stay very comfortable and joyful.
I must say that this place does not reflect the quality and comfort of a "Holiday Inn" hotel. The service is so bad that we had to call 3 -4 times just to get some housekeeping service. The staff is also not well versed with what is available. There was no writing pad or pen in the hotel and when I went down to ask for one from the reception, the staff actually gave me the pen he was using. Room service was also messed up as they sent incomplete order. And there was not even an apology.
The location is convenient but the service needs great improvement for me to stay there again.
I was not even recognized as a IHG rewards member.
Great value hotel in convenient location right by underground with superb transportation links. Breakfast buffet was awesome included in room price. Pool hours convenient. Staff helpful. All over good experience.
Amazing stay ❤️ hotel is spotless!! Rooms are a good size, breakfast very good, nice pool area and staff very helpful! Only here for short stay, would have loved to stay longer ❣️
The Staff welcomed us with a smile, My experience here is a 10/10, I highly recommend it for everyone!
My family and I enjoyed our stay due to spacious room and excellent customer service provided by Ms. Rejane at Executive Lounge and Mr. Ryota at Front Desk. Breakfast place has been very crowded at times, but plenty of food choices available.
Our first time in Singapore and we found Holiday Inn Atrium a great place to stay, whether for business or pleasure. The services are excellent and the staff is very welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious, with great view from the top floors, where we were located.
Loved friendly reception and guest support. So close to MRT and easy to get anywhere. Highly recommend thanks you Janna
Stayed there for 2 weeks, one of the old iconic hotel in Singapore, also heard it’s called glass tower.
The service, rooms, pools, gym every thing was great, hotel staffs were nice and helpful.
Located nicely, access to MRT, good scenic walk along with river and chain of restaurants to Merlion, quay .
The great part was Breakfast buffet all great options were available nicely located in big area. Indian, English, American all types of breakfast options available. We all loved it.
It was a wonderful experience staying in this hotel. I stayed here with my business partner on a business trip to Singapore. This hotel has all the necessary items and services which are required in a 4 or 5 stat hotel. Rooms are spacious and food is excellent.
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Good location. Value for money. Nice bar with live music. Comfortable beds.
I'd always put this hotel as my first preference as I like its no-frills concept.
However, 1 aspect shocked me this time.
Due to some last-minute arrangement, I only stayed 1 night this time.
During check-in, I didn't really take much of a notice until I went up to my assigned room.
To my horror then I realised that the front-desk staff had assigned me a room that is within a few steps to the lift lobby and having an "adjoining door feel" outside.
What I am saying is, the moment you open your main door, all you need is just ONE step forward, and you will be within reach to the room next to you.
It's okay IF you had booked for two rooms for a whole family to stay near each other. HOWEVER, I only booked 1 room & hence I don't know who or how many people are staying in the room next to my room that is within ONE step away. That is scary!
The second scary part is I realised there is no CCTV at that portion that had "stored" the 2 hotel rooms, so if anything does happen to either room, there is no CCTV footage to show what happened at that small open area between the 2 hotel rooms. I was totally horrified.
I initially doubted myself and thought perhaps I forgot to include my preferences in my IHG account, which may have resulted why the front desk staff assigned me to a 1 room that is a total taboo to me and made me faced with the situation that I totally don't wish to encounter.
However, when I double check my IHG account, I had expressly clearly indicated what I don't wish to have. So, the room that was assigned to me (which made me face the things that I don't want to encounter) by this front-desk staff does really baffle me since I've not met this staff before.
I guess, perhaps maybe because I only booked 1 night stay this round, the front-desk staff just literally slot me into a corner whereby the CCTV can't even monitor at that small slot area. Maybe maybe
Good location, good size room
The hotel is right by Havelock Subway station and only 2 stations away from Orchard road and a few more stations away to Garden By The Bay. And Marina Bay Sand. Across The road is Robertson Quay where all the nice restaurants and bars. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff. The bed is super comfy. The Chinese restaurant is one of the best in Singapore! Love this hotel!
Only complaint was the air con was too cold when we arrived and we couldn't adjust, one phone call and 5 minutes later maintenance were fixing it for us. Premier executive room was great with access to the executive lounge. service in the executive lounge was fantastic, staff were friendly and attentive. Buffet breakfast in the main dining area was excellent, variety and quality extraordinary. Rooms were quiet at night as door closers stopped guests banging doors. All staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The guest laundry was also greatly appreciated.
This is the first time that we stayed in the Holiday Inn Atrium and I can say that we were very satisfied. From check-in up to check-out, the staff was courteous, accommodating and friendly. Special mention the concierge staff, they were very helpful. They would give us directions and recommended places for us to visit and eat near the hotel. They also facilitated our tours. The breakfast was also good. They have a variety of dishes, beverages and cereals as well. The room is not that big but is clean and we always have a good sleep every night. I would surely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family.
The staff were great and that’s the heart of this hotel. Even though the hotel is dated the staff were able to do their best to keep the cleanliness of the room. I paid extra to keep us on the higher floor as a valued reward member but was not able to sleep soundly despite a comfortable bed and pillows. The air conditioning system was bad and horrible emitting a nasty smelll( like a canal smell). The breakfast buffet offered a variety of food . As any buffet some guests were just nasty but the staff tried their best to keep it in order. We left early and sure enough the staff provided us breakfast to go with us on our way to the airport.
Very convenient location. Connectivity is very good. Best part is-it is connected to Havelock metro station directly. Rooms are a bit overpriced but very hygienic and very well maintained. They serve a good English breakfast daily.
Room was quite. Air conditioning worked at 20 degrees C, better than a lot of other hotels in area. I like a cool room.
Bed was comfortable. Sheets and pillows were high quality.
Good area for food within a short walk.
Negative
I'm spire elite but did not get access to executive lounge. Benefit of status is going down with this chain. Sad.
The hotel is very clean with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful, especially when our pre booked transfer did not turn up. The only negative for us was the location. It was a little too far from the city for us. We needed to use taxis and it often took time to get a taxi back. My friend uses a mobility walker, perhaps this deterred drivers from picking us up. Free shuttle into town was good and hotel quickly got us taxis.
This is a beautiful hotel near many sites in Singapore. I stayed here with my four young children. It was clean and comfortable. They had a great pool and exercise room. The most impressive thing to me was the staff. They all spoke english very well and they were so accommodating. They were helpful and kind with my children. They were professional and yet personable. Over our five day stay we grew to appreciate the staff greatly. I was frustrated they couldn't get me connecting rooms even though I had arranged that when I made the reservation. The only downfall of this hotel was the restaurant prices. Way too expensive for very small portions. But this might just be singapore food prices in general. Thanks for a great stay Holiday Inn!!!
We were staying in the hotel with our daughter and granddaughter and had two beautiful rooms, and staff even very considerately put us close together. The whole complex was clean, tidy and very comfortable, we had a marvellous time and certainly hope to return in the near future. The staff could not have been more helpful. Only downside was not enough complimentary tea and coffee and the milk on offer in room was dry long life and not very pleasant in tea, but a very small downside compared to everything else.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Atrium from the 5th-16th Sept '17. The hotel was gracious in their welcome and I was very grateful having arrived at 8am, to be able to check into my room immediately (having just flown in from New Zealand). This was my first trip alone, and I was always warmly greeted and looked out for. As an IHG member I was given 2 complimentary drink vouchers and generous discounts to dine at their restaurants. The Chinese restaurant was outstanding and I was looked after there too. It was a nice touch having a Cocktail evening as well for IHG members where I met two lovely staff members and we chatted as if we had known one another for years! I had no issues, always felt safe as a female by herself. No problems finding my way around. Housekeeping was fantastic (thank you Sophie). All in all, my room was comfortable with a good bed and nice pillows.
Although this is an older style hotel it is excellent in all aspects for older visitors.
Spacious lobby area and good size rooms which are quiet and private -
Breakfast and other buffets are excellent catering for all tastes from European to Oriental.
Pool area is a great place to relax as is the bar area.
Cannot compliment the staff too highly on their courteous and excellent service.
Would definitely recommend it to other and will stay again if we return to Singapore.
Good location near to variety of restaurants and bars at Robertson Quay - much quieter for older visitors than Clarke Quay.
Arrived in Atrium late evening using a taxi. While there are 2 staff standing at lobby, they are not interested to help you with the luggage or show us the reception since the building is in under refurbishment.
Met a front desk which was very friendly. Got a room in 26th floor. Nice view of Singapore. However the bed was hard, not comfort at all. Pillow was too small for HI standard. I didnt like the shower in the bath tub. Air circulation in the bathroom was poor.
After checking in, we straight to the Executive Lounge. Food selection was good but the service was non existence. I wait for 10 min, no one asking to help you with the beverages selection. Poor service. You need to self service go to the counter and ask the drink. Lounge waitress are interested to talk wothin themself only.
I have used the concierge the next day and they was good helping with the transportation option.
Breakfast was very poor. Poor in term of selection, hygiene of the place and also the staff. Only 1 hot station available which is egg counter. Only 1 wok available for chef to cooked. While I am seeing around 4-6 waitress, none of them interested to ask you either coffee or tea. You have to wait 10-15 minute to get attention and another 15min for coffee to arrived.
I feel this is the first time I encounter terrible value, poor service in Holiday Inn that I have been to. I will avoid this hotel at all cost.
I have stayed here many times over the last 3 years and I have always have a very pleasant experience.
The staff is extremely polite and cooperative all the time. The hospitality is commendable.
The choice of options at breakfast is one of the best with atleast 30-40 different items to try. I am always left craving to try each one :)
The executive lounge at the top floor for platinum club members is very comfortable.
The hotel has lots of restaurants & places accessible by walk which makes it a place that one must stay atleast once.
Thank you Holiday Inn Atrium for everything. I am coming back again this week to get pampered yet again.
The staff and Jess at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. As I was waiting in line, I could see that she had the same friendly demeanour with everyone and this is great customer service. The concierge and bell staff were all super helpful too.
We were greeted as Gold Mambers of the IHG club and invited for drinks in the bar, which was lovely. All the reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. It was especially nice when the chef came to meet us and greeted us by name. The upgrade package we chose was so worth it- drinks and snacks in the evening was so relaxing and the staff made us feel very welcome.
The hotel is in a great location - quite enough to not have any noisy traffic but close enough to walk to where you want to go (and near the red open-topped tour bus stop).
Great staff made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Thus was my first overseas trip with my husband, decided on and booked the week before we travelled. The accommodation was booked through our travel agent and we were very happy with the choice. It wasn't too far from most places. Will be even better when the MRT is closer.
It was a relaxing break for us both, the bar staff were wonderful and got used to our evening visits knowing what we would have to drink.
Thank you for making us feel welcome.
It is very easy to move around town, as it is on top of the MRT Brown Line (Havelock MRT)
One stop to Great World City
https://g.co/kgs/WWSjUPs ( walking distance, easy to reach if not raining)
Two stop to Orchard MRT
Walking distance to Tiong Baharu Hawker Centre a.k.a Tiong Bahru Market https://g.co/kgs/v4uUk64
Very nice hotel, very well looked after and in a strategic position: in fact, a few meters from the exit there is a metro stop. It's just a shame about the carpet which I don't prefer and about the wardrobe whose light couldn't be turned off. For the rest super recommended.
Great hotel with an impressive open lobby overlooking the elevator towers.
Very good MRI connection
Elevators are glazed with a view of the lobby and foyer, not necessarily for people with a fear of heights...just turn around to the door 😉
We really liked the restaurant, first-class buffet and the hotel pool on the 6th floor
Rooms are large enough, but the style is a bit old.
Very good beds!
Accommodation for 3 nights and 4 days, August 26-29, 2024
Good subway and bus accessibility, slightly out of the center and quiet
City view upgraded
Welcome drink pass point accumulation
I think it would be great if you open the window in the room to ventilate.
The window is completely sealed and cannot be opened.
It would be great if the natural breeze came in between sunset and sunrise. sorrow.
(This is a hot country, so my judgment may be wrong)
If you open the door at the left end of the accommodation counter and go out, there is a convenience store at the end of the hallway. It is cheaper than a hotel convenience store.
They have a variety of Korean ramen, snacks, drinks, etc.
Hoteliers provide friendly service and quick responses.
Nearby McDrive and Bak Kut Teh restaurants are within 5 minutes' walk.
Chinatown is close so I walked to it.
Don't forget that it's hot in this country.
It is easy to use a transportation card/card with built-in Wi-Fi wireless mobility function.
Use public transportation and save energy.
It was quiet, comfortable and friendly to stay, but ventilation was not free.
A hotel highly recommended to family travelers. The location of the hotel is very convenient. You can walk to the subway station without going out. The hotel's breakfast is very rich, it is a buffet breakfast, with a wide variety of styles and very delicious. The staff was very polite. Although we arrived at the hotel earlier than the normal check-in time, the hotel thoughtfully informed us that the room was ready for check-in.
Excellent hotel from all points of view. A special mention goes to Gerald, a young boy, full of energy, kind and competent.
Great hotel. Quite large and comfortable rooms (which is a great success for Singapore). A room with large panoramic windows. The room has everything you need. Bath, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, coffee, tea, TV, refrigerator, safe. Nice double bed.
Breakfast is not bad, a variety of dishes from Indian, Asian and European cuisines. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff.
The cocktails in the bar are not very good ((.
Convenient as it is directly connected to MRT.
The atmosphere of the hotel is also nice.
The rooms are spacious and cost just under 30,000 yen per night. I think it's good that breakfast is included.
The breakfast buffet has a lineup of local, Indian, and Western dishes.
It was delicious.
The problem with the room is the musty smell from the air conditioner.
It was much better if I let it cool down a lot and applied it hard.
Hot water and shower are perfect.
Advantages
1. Close to the subway. If you walk about 50 meters to the left from the hotel's main entrance, you'll be right at the subway entrance. You may have to walk underground, but that's okay.
2. I checked in around 1 am and the female staff member at the front desk was very friendly. In particular, they were considerate by asking about my flight time the next day and allowing me to check out late accordingly.
3. High floors have a good view
4. Even though it is a Holiday Inn, they say there is a club lounge, but I didn't have time to use it.
disadvantage
1. There is a pleasant smell in the room and the bedding is damp. Overall, it seems like the humidity is not managed well.
2. The air conditioner is not that cool. Performance is not good
Looks like it needs some remodeling
If you cross the crosswalk in front of the hotel, it is directly connected to the Singapore River, making it a great place to enjoy a cafe street. I think this is a hotel worth considering in Singapore, where hotels are expensive.
Our experience for a short staycation was really great.Foodand service quality was superb.Room was excellent and the staff was very helpful from the bell boy up to housekeeping knows their role to make us have a pleasant stay .We had a good time together thanks to the hotel F&B team who implemented free breakfast below. 12 yrs old for the kids.We are looking forward to stay at other Holiday Inn hotels as this trip have been a memorable ones
Comfortable room, nice view from the window
Excellent service! Cutlery for toddlers is provided before requested, the receptionist is very friendly, came here while watching Taylor Swift March 8 2024. Coloring equipment for children was provided.
The location is right at the exit of Havelock MRT station.
The restaurant is HALAL❤️
Best value for the price!
The reception was kind.
For services, you can scan the QR code and request water, towels, trash disposal, and room service.
The height of the toilet seat was so low that I thought it was for children, so I couldn't get used to it.
The view from the window was good.
