C. M. E.The rooms was perfect as what they posted website. And also clean. Service in the frontdesk was all good, they accommodate us respectful with smiling in their faces. And location was all good too, it is all walking distance from malls, restaurants and bar where you can have a good time.
G. S.Staffs are accomodationg, we received an assistance on our baggages.
Front desk is helpful and cosiderate as we have a baby, they helped us get a convinient room and check in earlier.
The hotel smells great and location is accessible to malls :)

T. M.The stay was just good. But the room service was just a bit inconvenient eg. I have to ask the reception when they are gonna refill the coffee and tea again and they never showed up. The housekeeper didn’t even give me the new toothbrushes when she got in just because I was taking shower. Not only that when I asked the reception to help me get the hot water from water dispenser, they just told me the instructions which I can read it from the machine but was still confused about. Instead told me to go get some hot water from cafeteria. Would be really perfect if they gave us those necessary amenities and service when we asked for assistance.

T. M.This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Location is good, the room we stayed in is just adequate for family of 3. Housekeeping is fair but a bit slow possibly due to new housekeepers. The roof top swimming pool is a good idea BUT it seriously needs cleaning and maintenance. Furthermore there is no counter for towel at that floor and there are no staff to serve that particular floor. Check in Receptionist needs courteous professionalism to deal with our request and queries. A 100%+ should go to the porter (uncle). The uncles are very polite, courteous and with good manners.

T. M.We stayed at this hotel because the price was affordable comparable with the other hotels in the area. The hotel is in the midst of the city with lots of public transport close by. It was convenient for us. The hotel rooms are small but we were only in Singapore for two days. The hotel also has a nice view. The breakfast was okay , could be better honestly but then again it’s Singapore.

T. M.1) an old hotel from the look of the room and facilities2) fab location3) i'm not a fan of dark and gray colour palates so it was kinda depressing to stay in. I had to work for half the morning unfortunately. the whole dark vibe was stressing me out4) the lights were yellowish type - added to the depressing aura of the room.5) the water/heater in the room, despite several tries I still can't get hot water. :(6) no stationery - bummer when I wanted to work for a bit7) breakfast was mediocre

T. M.Overall was okay however the AC controller was not functioning when we first checked in as well as the water dispenser (hot water is not reheating). I remembered the last time I stayed here the hotel provides 2 pillows per person however now is only 1.

S.I have never reviewed a place during my stay but this a first and hopefully the last. |We joked about waiters spitting in our food but then realised THEY’LL ACTUALLY HAVE TO LIFT A FINGER AND WORK to make that happen. |I could write an essay to describe the services and the horrors but I’ll save myself|from the mind numbing experiences of last 3 days.|They all have a degree in rudeness to qualify for a job here, the standard answer for every question is a NO! ||Can someone help with the luggage (we were a large group with seniors and kids) - reached out to the reception and he said “Not my job” (totally understand, question was can anyone help)||My son is a little unwell, can I take a slice of bread and butter to the room - No, nothing goes out of the dining area ||Dragged my son out to the place and found only cold milk - can you please warm this a little, the answer obviously was that no we don’t give hot milk 🤷🏻♀️ ||They don’t have pool towels, asked us to use room towels then refused to give us a fresh towel on our return coz 1 day 2 towels rule …||I could go on and on but I still have half a day left here and I have to deal with the Satan- the staff here so back i go!||PS - read all the other reviews for the room smell and the lack of general hygiene at this place
T. M.Our first time having our staycation there. Apparently, among all the 3 stars hotel we visited, this was the worst among all (comparing Hotel Royal & Changi Village). No complimentary parking for house guest, need to pay parking $10/day/car. After checking out, my partner and I shared the same view ... this will be our First & Last time staying in this hotel.

I was disturbed by the chambermaid twice in the morning though, at 9plus n 10 plus. . she rang my doorbell n the second time she actually unlock my door tnking no one is in the room😬..n I APPEARED at the door n she apologised n go off...😅 She wanna clean the room fast I guess.. 😅 but the ck out time is 12pm..!!😅😅

S. R.Stayed for 1 night. Decent hotel. Medium sized room. Location is good with minimal luggage. Requires around 5-10 mins walk from train station. Plenty of food option nearby

B. p.The location of the hotel is very strategic, because it is close to the Orchad and Somerset MRT stations, and also close to the bus stand.
Just walk a little, there is Sevel, there is a halal restaurant in Al-Madinah where the food is delicious🤤🤤
The room size is not too big.
As for service, it's really the best.
Most of the front liners here are Indians who are fluent in Malay.
At that time the safety box was damaged and couldn't be locked, after reporting it, the unit was immediately replaced, bro👍🏻
Y. T. C.Bencoolen Hotel First class, very good location, old hotel, also has the most Indian guests. A hair towel is a white hair cloth, a white hair cloth is washed, and a gray hair cloth is washed. Bencoolen: Many kinds of food, many kinds of food. There is also a convenient store in the store. The bath towels are gray. It's a shame that the quality is so low even though the location is so good...but I feel like this quality is completely normal in Singapore. Breakfast was simple but delicious. There is also a convenience store in the lobby, which is very convenient.

T. M.The room facilities are very basic and smelly, and the daduosuu who live there are all Indians and gather in the corridor. And the most terrifying thing is that there are too many rooms. Many people don’t know whether they are drinking or don’t know the room. They even rang my doorbell on the last night. It was so scary. I asked for a refund on the first day and refused to negotiate with the hotel. They also refused to change the room. The attitude was very bad. Most of the people at the front desk were Indians. It was a really bad stay, and I gave it a very, very bad review. I think there are still potential safety risks. If I were not in Singapore, I would choose to stay in other hotels if I were not given a refund.
T. M.Advantages: The hotel is close to the Orchard Road business district. There are bus stations and subway stations nearby, making it very convenient for travel and shopping. Disadvantages: The hygiene situation is average, the air conditioner has a peculiar smell, and the room is relatively small. The price/performance ratio is good and it's cheap after all.

T. G.I had a wonderful experience at Hotel chancellor The location was perfect—close to all the main attractions. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed, including a super comfy bed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, specially the front receptionist (Banu) making check-in and check-out a breeze. I especially loved how easy and fast the service was, like the breakfast, pool,. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I would definitely recommend it!
