Reviews of Park Regis by Prince Singapore
There were 6 of us stayed 3 nights at the Park Regis SIN 10 days ago. We did enjoy a pleasant stay, thanks to the very friendly staff at Front Desk, the restaurant, Housekeeping and Conciege.
Hotel is at a great location, only less than 10 minutes walk to Clarke Quay, Metro Chinatown Station and CBD. The rooms are clean and spacious. Though some people criticize the setup of toilet and bathroom, I stayed quite many new good 4 star hotels recently, I found lots hotels are designed in this way to save the spaciousness which is acceptable to me.
Will I stay at Park Regis again, and recommend to others? the answer is definitely yes.
The location is very good, near bus stop and mrt. The room is very nice and upgraded also, the sink, amenities needed are inside and has bidet!! 💯 Bellman & Front Desk was also very polite & attentive too. It was a pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend!
The Park Regis is perfectly located close to Clarke Quay and Chinatown and with an MRT station just down the street, the location is a perfect base for exploring Singapore. The standard Queen room is well presented and clean, and like most hotel rooms in Singapore, don’t expect it to be huge. Be ready if travelling as a couple to be comfortable with each others bathroom habits as there is not much privacy. The open plan vanity area sits in front of the toilet and shower which literally are frosted glass door cubicles and offer little relief for the senses. That said, the room was very comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional and one of the better buffets for a 4 star hotel, but try to get a breakfast inclusive room rate as SGD$35++ pp for breakfast is a bit rich. Staff were always friendly although the bell staff hanging around the concierge desk just inside the entrance were a little lazy assisting with opening doors and welcoming guests.
The pool area is a nice little oasis on the 2nd floor adjacent to the small but well equipped gym.
Would definitely stay here again as a solo but would probably look elsewhere for a hotel with a proper bathroom when travelling again with my wife.
Let us check in 3 hours earlier Which was extremely kind after landing of red eye flight.
Have filter water in the room Which is very handy to top up water without having to purchase bottle water for extra consumption. Great location 4-7 mins between DT and NS MRT stations.
Not having a separate toilet and shower room has been the only fault. Water Can come out of the shower room Which makes the room damp and no privacy when needing to undress before shower.
Not great food / drink options but renovated rooms are great. Gym needs a bit of an update.
Really nice hotel in a great location, close to Clarkes Quay and Chinatown. We were in a refurbished room which was really nice. All staff were excellent, the coffee shop was excellent, and the pool was a great place to cool down and relax after a hot day exploring the city.
Locatuon of this hotel is fabulous! It is within a short walk to two subway stations, Chinatown n many malls n food centres. It is also directly across Clark Quay where the nightlife is colourful n interesting. Also walkable would be the Marina Bay area so you can save money on transport. The room is of decent size for what we paid. It is rather basic but clean and the aircon works well. The swimming pool is of good size n most inviting in Singapore's tropical weather. The gym is large but we didnt go. We didnt try the restaurants in the hotel as there are many food options outside. All said, this hotel offers good value n is highly recommended. 'Better' hotels are just not worth paying for and 'cheaper' hotels hv smaller rooms n may not be so well-located.Service is good. From the efficient reception who handled our check-in during the peak period to the enthusiastic bellboys.
Good location
Great staff
Good breakfast buffet
Good accomodations
I always stay here in during my short business trip in Singapore. Clake Quay MRT is just across the street. China town is within walking distance. Bars and entertainment are also nearby. Staffs are helpful and professional. I like this hotel
We had a wonderful stay! Very clean and comfortable! Would stay here again.
Location is good, right across the famous clark quay. The breakfast are delicious, fresh salad and varies yoghurt available everyday. The room quite small, but comes with complete amenities, ironing tools, toiletries, hairdryer, bottled drinking water. Overall worth the the price. and for moslem, behind the hotel there is a mosque
We arrived late on Thursday evening, now we have our GPS bearings , we get around extremely well ,hotel is very well situated close walking distance to all attractions, excellent choice of food and beverages to choose from just over the road 😀 easy 2 minute walk , such a great location , a must do 1/2day city tour and a river boat tour, be sure to sit on the left hand side of the boat is my advice , enjoy your stay
Hotel is comfortable and very peaceful. Had a very good view of the pool as well. Will definitely stay again, very good location and staff is very nice and friendly.
The room was great, but the jack hammer noise during the day was not! Currently having renovations. Be very careful to check this if you want to relax during the day.
Very clean, quiet, only 15 minutes walk into the financial centre, lots of shopping malls everywhere you turn, very friendly staff.
Breakfast is so good, a selection of local and western choices, very good quality.
If you're in early after a long flight and your room is not ready for check in until the afternoon, you can leave your luggage with them, use the shower and pool facilities and go for a wonder.
Great experience, thank you!
Considering how expensive Singapore has gotten, this hotel is good value. They gave us one room early, which was nice after an overnight flight. House keeping is a bit inconsistent. Rooms are small for the price. The location is good, right by Clark Quay, and walking distance from the Marina.
Has good food and views nearby. Thr pool is cold but pleasant. Room sizes really don't vary much. Walls are not super clean with some old stains all over. But everyone was very friendly.
First time stay at the Regis although I have stayed at other hotels in the area before. This is a not a bad hotel just not a very good one either. The hotel refers itself as being "upscale" but to me this is an average 3 - 4 star hotel in Australia at $400 a night.
There are positives- the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool and gym were of a good size and the location is excellent close to the MRT, Chinatown and Clarke Quay.
The room itself is ok, I had a queen and the bed was average. The room is quite small so not really ideal for a longer stay. The room has been renovated but still had some minor issues.
I only had breakfast and that was average, quality of the food and selections especially the bread for toast etc was very poor.
Overall this is a decent 3-4 star hotel that I probably wouldn't come back to.
Although the rooms were small(compared to what I'm used to in other countries) but they were very well designed to include all facilities one might need. The location is great as well with the Clark Quay MRT Station just across the road.
Good average hotel. Good rooms, but with a strange bathroom design. Every time you shower, everything will be wet, and it will stink. Pool is nice, gym is good and the staff is great. Good location too.
Location is fantastic. Just a short 5-10 minute walk from anything you could possibly need in Singapore, and around 1 minute away from Clarke Quay MRT. Staff are very friendly and the cleaners are thorough and considerate. The open bathroom design is great if you are sharing the room with another person.
The hotel is absolutely adequate. Rooms are very small but a lot packed into the room, nifty storage spaces. Unfortunately we fell into a trap. The restaurant/s are not part of the hotel. We wanted a cup of tea and got one in the hotel lobby. They charged us S$14.10 for two cups of tea bag tea and milk out of a little container. Absolutely disgraceful. This reflects poorly on the hotel. Very disappointing.
Park Regis is such a great choice for a hotel that has everything you need without breaking the bank. Location is A+ as it's just across the street from Clarke Quay MRT and a few meters walk from Boat Quay and Clarke Quay bars. Service is great too, special shout out to Bonnie from front desk who arranged to have our leaking bidet replaced right away. Rooms are adequately sized. Open layout for the bathroom makes privacy a challenge, but I actually like how it adds to the convenience.
I also noticed mold in the packaged cheese they serve at breakfast but I'm considering it an isolated case, they replaced it right away.
Hotel in a great location. Only 5 minutes walk to the Chinatown subway station. Rooms are clean. Air conditioning is a little noisy and can't be turned off. After complaining, they were able to turn the noise down a bit. Overall, I would recommend it for short stays.
We stayed 9-17 October and had a great time. Our room has a good layout and being on the 7th floor, no noise. Great area, walking to lots of shops, Chinatown, people are so friendly and easy to get around. All the staff were kind, attentive and have great presentation. Thanks to all.
Park Regis is extremely accessible by both CQ and Chinatown Mrt stations. The receptionist was hospitable and friendly. As I was in for my birthday staycay , I didn’t bother much about bringing my physical cards. The receptionist was kind enough to allow me to check in without holding a card for deposit purposes. I had a Deluxe pool room (mentioned has Quay room in hotel website). It’s sooooo easy to just jump into the pool. Such a relaxing stay. Great for party goers who wanna party in CQ and just crash nearby
If you're looking for a top-notch hotel to stay at in Singapore, the Park Regis is an excellent choice. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need to kick back and relax. And the pool is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The location is perfect and walking distance from many, many good restaurants and bars.
Location is fantastic. Just a short 5-10 minute walk from anything you could possibly need in Singapore, and around 1 minute away from Clarke Quay MRT. Staff are very friendly and the cleaners are thorough and considerate. My only complaint is the rooms. The open bathroom design is not great if you are sharing the room with another person. There is also a fan that cannot be turned off, so the is no silence at night even though it isn't very loud it is noticeable.
Booked 3 nights at Park Regis. Didn’t really enjoy the hotel.. we didn’t find service to be efficient or attentive.
Room service for extra towels, water or amenities took incredibly long.. like 20 mins to arrive.. and the phone lines for room service are always busy.
The pool is nice, but needs more cleaning.. so much green mold on the tiles at the wall side of the pool..
We did enjoy the shower though. Location is good.
The hotel is in a great location, the facilities and rooms are good. The concierge guys were great and helpful. The most annoying thing is check in/out I don’t understand why it takes so long take my credit card and my passport. That shouldn’t take 10-15 minutes, especially when there is 5 other people before you in the queue! Surely it can be streamlined a bit
Located near Chinatown and opposite to Clark Quay. Boat quay and Merlion park is also walking distance. Stayed in merchant room which is perfect for business travellers. All required amenities and services provided. Swimming pool and gym are good. They also allowed to early check-in. Staffs are very helpful and courteous. Concierge service is available for booking taxis etc. Buffet breakfast spread is awesome.
Great location, just beside clarke quay mrt, walkable to chinatown and city hall area. Hotel just reopen not too long, room and amenities feels clean and well maintained. Thou room short of some items, housekeeping brought up shortly after calling them. Service from staff was excellent too. Overall was a good stay.
The reception is on the 3rd floor and receptionist is friendly. Had book last minute but the reception was very helpful during the check in process. The room is clean and tidy. Bathroom is okay too.
Good hotel. They did everything expected. Clean room, small, but big enough for a queen bed, a desk to do work and still room for my morning stretches.
The staff was very friendly and amenities good. I had a late flight out so they recommend I stay and use the pool, shower before my flight and WiFi if I need to get some work done. All after check out. Was very thoughtful of them.
Only bad part was the buffet breakfast. I wouldn’t get that included again and just find a nearby coffee shop. They got to work on their breakfast.
Otherwise, five stars!
Housekeepers are quite friendly and polite!Location is really good, so convenient to the mrt and malls. Perhaps amenities can be improved, bathroom has a smell (not stinky kind but would be good if there can be some kind of air refreshner or those aroma sticks around).
It's a beautiful place to stay. Rooms are cozy and gives you a very nice atmosphere. Service is also very good. I had a best experience overall.
As shared with the staff, the general feeling was I was not in a 4 * hotels. Here's a few of points why:
- very poor and limited breakfast choice
- staff forgetting to mention i needed to request my room to be made by phone call
- staff providing wrong info (i ve been told no loyalty program only to see one on the screen at the reception...)
- gym equipment had 2cm dust on it, no bins nor wipes, towels looked like they ve been here for 10years...
Reception honnestly couldnt care less about feedback now SG is reopened, clearly not bothering about customers now you have more.
Rooms are clean, well decorated, quiet. Hotel is well located. Whats good is what can be improved is low hanging fruit.
hotel was ok. except that the room feel kinda noisy especially when neighbouring guests opened their door and i could heard sound of the closing door very clearly which disturbed our sleep alot. Not a very pleasant experience though as we felt very tired the next day.
Park Regis is a great place to stay for people on mid-budget around 90 to 100 SGD.
We got the room that didn’t have the pool view but apart from that the bed is very comfortable.
Overall, good location and comfortable place.
Clean and nice hotel stay. Walkable distance to clark quay. There is a complimentary parking ticket for hotel guest too!
A very good location that is close to an MRT station and some of the key sights. Some hotel facilities may need upgrading, eg the washing basic of my room is not draining at all.
Great location. Extremely comfortable beds. Good pool. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Extractor fan or similar in the bedroom which can’t be switched off.
We are pleased to hear that our staff and prime location have left a positive impression on you. The hotel is indeed strategically located within walking distance to the popular Clarke Quay and Chinatown heritage district, as well as other major tourist attractions in Singapore.
Thank you for taking the time to share about your recent stay experience with us. We hope to welcome you again in the near future.
Stay Well,
Stayed for ~2 weeks.
Pros: comfy bed, hot shower, nice pool view, friendly staff, good location
Cons: malfunctioning fridge (even after getting it changed), housekeeping missing different items each time (body towels, toilet rolls, shower gel, floor mat towel, etc.), bad soundproofing (can hear neighbours' doors closing), bad waterproofing (carpet around shower area perpetually wet), washer&dryer had a huge mass of lint
Thumbs up for the Check-In Team, The team are well trained and professional, they are attentive and helpful to your needs. Overall it makes my staycation a great trip.
Side note : the pool might be a little small but it is still quite photogenic.
Overall a satisfied trip.
Great location, very helpful staff and clean, well equipped rooms. Pool area a nice feature after walking around humid Singapore. Great city and this hotel ticks all the boxes for accommodation, thank you we will return.
It was a comfortable stay at the hotel with rooms and service provided at a comfortable level. Amenities (swimming pool and gym) were fine and location (within reasonable walking distance to Chinatown and Clarke Quay) is a draw.
Good room, friendly staff. I probably won’t come back because there is nothing else there apart from a restaurant which is not part of the hotel’s offering apart from the breakfast buffet.
Quick walk from Clarke Quay MRT station is definitely a plus whether you just arrived or going.
I like my room from when I stepped in. Bed space and walking space were good. And that is, the t&b area/space didn't give me any problem. From my room there's a window lounge that looks comfortable, and I can see the sky, which gives feeling of much space. Also view of the pool downstairs, where I can see from. It can be sunny or warm mid day, but the a/c was cool and strong. Wifi is strong.
I tried one of their breakfast sets at the ground-floor Twenty3 dining and it was great~ I also liked the mango fresh rice roll, but it would be better to have it in room. Better to eat with hands. My attendants were nice, attentive, conversational (with another couple/guests who was asking stuff). Ambience is also nice night or day. There they have wooden tables outside. Looks nice to have a drink.
I missed seeing the deposit box, hence the closet on my first night. And they provide a smartphone where you can use google map and check local attractions or touristy places, which is nice. Can also make calls from it. Housekeeping also made sure my room will be cleaned, as I like going out late.
I've passed by some night life after 9 or 10 around Clarke Quay so it's convenient for those who like to hang out. I tried walking from City Hall station at the time to the hotel for some local sightseeing and it was doable.
Nice clean hotel close to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown.
Stayed twice this year and the pool is a nice spot to relax on a warm day
Perfect hospitality, i have never been in a hotel with kinder staff. The hotel itself is beautiful and all the facilities are exceptional. The location is right next to a mrt station so getting around is a breeze. I would absolutely stay here if i visited Singapore in the future.
Its a decent hotel with clean rooms, a nice swimming pool and gym on the 2nd floor, a small bar on the ground floor. Not a great choice in food served at the hotel, but thats the next interesting bit. Its just walking distance from Chinatown and Clarke Quay so you are never out of options . I've stayed here mostly for business, but would not hesitate to choose this for a family vacation.
Great location, in walking distance to the tourists attractions and across the road from the MRT.
The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean.
Service us great.
Well-thought design utilizes the space and nature so well! Neat room, a swimming pool with mini waterfall along the trees made a pleasant stay right next to the business hub!
Really nice rooms. Good location and super service by the staff.
It a good 14-day quarantine experience at a hotel like this. The food provided meets our comfort needs
Impressed by the service. It had demonstrate caring and eye for details service.
Thank you for taking care of my mum.
Nice experience in Singapour, close to raffles place and Chinatown. Good price and high quality.
Hotel located in Singapore's Chinatown, it is located in a strategic position, a few steps from the Riverside, Clark Quay and Chinatown MRT stops, making independent travel very convenient.
The rooms offer all comforts, although some probably still need to be completely renovated, presenting some shortcomings which, however, are easily remedied.
There is a swimming pool, a gym, a coin-operated and in-room laundry service, as well as the classic room service.
Excellent hotel, small but nice rooms, equipped with every comfort and clean. in the Clarke Quay area so very close to many attractions so much so that you can reach many neighborhoods on foot without problems. Very quiet and safe area. We walked back to the hotel even in the late evening without feeling any danger at all.
Used on business trips.
It's in the city center, and there are food stores and convenience stores nearby, so it seemed very convenient.
The hotel was also very clean and I was very satisfied.
By the way, I couldn't find any staff who could speak Japanese.
The hotel met my expectations if not partly exceeded them. The service is excellent. All employees are very helpful and always say hello in the hallway.
I think the price/performance of the rooms, the service and the breakfast are good. In my opinion, there should be a little more choice of bread at the breakfast buffet. There is a very large selection of fruits.
Our room was always cleaned beautifully and attention was paid to detail.
The room is too small and the en-suite bathroom is unacceptable.||The breakfast offers very few things for those who prefer a sweet breakfast in the morning.
The location is great. Bak Ku Te is nearby and you can walk to everything if you want. However, like Singapore, the rooms are very small. Breakfast is just okay
It is 2 minutes away from Clark Quay MRT, with convenient transportation around and close to Chinatown, so eating is very convenient. The room is clean, tidy and quiet, the space is not crowded, and supplies are cleaned and replenished every day. Knowing that we drink a lot of water, I will give you two more bottles of water. Thank you very much! (Bottles of water in the hotel are free and you can pick them up on the third floor if you need them.) The decoration of the hotel is warm and the service staff are very considerate. If there are any problems in the room, they will be dealt with immediately and the attitude is good. Thank you. When checking out, you will also be reminded whether important items are there. It’s all ready, very warm! Breakfast meals are varied and can be eaten healthy and filling. It is recommended that in addition to salads, some hot fried vegetables can be provided. ||
Great hotel in the middle of Singapore. You can see the most important things within walking distance. Rooms are quite small, but that's okay. Service great, breakfast good. The pool was surprisingly cold.
The transportation location is excellent, with MRT and bus stations nearby. It is very convenient to go for a walk at Clarke Quay during the day and at night. The environment is clean and the room size is acceptable. Overall, the CP value is quite good.
It was really friendly and the accommodation condition and location were all good. It was great to exercise because there was a swimming pool and gym attached. I was very grateful that the room cleaning service was perfect~||It was really friendly and the location was great. It was great to exercise because there was a swimming pool and gym attached.
