Reviews of Royal India Hotel
It is basic, but it is clean and pleasant. We were looking for a clean place to sleep with NO bedbugs. It was the cheapest place we could find and after you warmed up the owners, they could smile - a little. P.S. I am a very seasoned traveler and that makes a difference.
The best thing about this place is the location if you love Indian food. Otherwise if you are looking for great facilities and good place of stay then this is not the place to be in. The market and all the shops are nearby and hence it's a convenient place to be in for cheaper price, since accommodation in Singapore is super expensive.
Not bad for the price and just night lodging
Rooms are small.. The Cleaner didn't come n clean the room..
Price is okay but room conditions is not okay
Convenient location next to Mustafa Centre.
Value for money, centrally located
Not bad
Nice service
Affordable Price
My experience: I booked the single room via email about a month before arriving in Singapore. I also received a confirmation by email. When I arrived I presented my passport and said that there was a reservation. “Sorry, we are fully booked” was the response from the receptionist – and without even asking my name! That almost left me speechless. ||It was only when I held the confirmation under her nose that she looked through her stuff, filled out the registration and handed me the key. ||I quickly found the door with the corresponding number. After I opened the door, I thought I was in the wrong movie! I have often experienced small rooms. But a room that was smaller than a prison cell was an absolute negative first! But the worst is yet to come! The room had NO window! EVERY prison cell has a window! The room with toilet and shower was exactly the same. Minimalism squared. Or simply - underground!||And all without breakfast and for the price of 60 SGD at the time.||Every love hotel room in Geylang is cheaper, larger and has a window! The “Royal India Hotel” is an insult to Singapore.
I stayed here for one night on a personal trip. I had a single room with no window, but it was quite noisy as it was in front of the elevator. Although it is not recommended for families traveling, it may be good for individuals who want to stay cheaply.
