We booked after midnight (moving from a disgusting hostel) and the staff were so accommodating. The rooms are stunning, cottage core with amazing beds. The rooftop pool is a lovely escape from the city life and the little cookies in the lobby remind me of my childhood. You are given a lot of discounts for the surrounding area with your keycard. Definitely stay here if you are around! Cannot rate it highly enough
E. C.Katong is my favourite part of Singapore and always try to stay there when visiting. You get a chilled vibe and a feel for the old Singapore. It’s quieter and the food in the area is amazing.
The Santa Grand is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed overnight travelling from Malaysia. We were assisted by a team of friendly staff. I mean one lady was so helpful. They really look after their guests. The rooms were newly renovated. A bit on the small side but did the job. I can’t wait to stay there again.

J. P.Hotel is a heritage hotel with lots of traditional and modern eateries nearby. There are also many cafes within walking distance and a shopping mall nearby. Room is clean and service is excellent. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

T. M.Did a one night staycay, not bad, very average. Room is clean and has basic tea and coffee. The shower is a highlight, very responsive so the water temperature is easy to adjust. Location is also good, being near Parkway/Katong i12. A good hotel for an in-between moment.

Rooftop pool and jacuzzi was great and no one was around when I was using the pool so it felt like a private pool. Pool was not super clean (perhaps seldom used) so I stayed at jacuzzi side mostly. Great view of the surroundings so must come up here for photo ops whether you swim or not.
Room was small, clean and comfy. Table was quite worn out but I wasn't worried about it. Room was quiet and faced the back of the shop house so it was quite peaceful. Not for light sleeper as I do hear some noise from the street (I stayed on 3rd floor).
Would come back again after they are done with their upgrading this month.

T. M.The room was spacious and good. Sadly the TV plays repeated films from my previous stay here but it’s still OK nonetheless. The toilet came with a bathtub so it was a nice surprise. All the taps/pipes worked fine. There could be more body soap and shampoo bottles as there was only 1 given. The balcony was fine as well.
T. M.This is the second time I booked Santa Grand Hotel. The reasons for coming back are mostly due to their service and cleanliness. I was also very impressed with the size of the room (Superior Room) very spacious… And some of the rooms have a skylight window installed inside which is pretty cool.
A. G.Nicely located hotel, great service and good breakfast. Had problem with the room safe and received help promptly. Superior twin was compact size, great for two adults. Room and bathroom was nice and clean. Would love to have two keys instead of just one. Breakfast was nice but I wish there was has more food choices.

Location super great, strategic 12 mins to East coast park, 2 mins to katong mall. Lots of resto and cafe as well as hawkers center.
T. M.Cost about $165 for a small room with queen bed and no bathtub/breakfast of course. There is a pool located on the 6th floor with nice view which is open from 7am till 8pm n how i wish open till late.Front desk staff super nice.Otherwise, just a suggestion, do check the bed especially below the blanket for surprises you don't expect before you blindly slip in your leg🥺
T. M.First time staycay at this hotel. Its really beautiful and the receptionist is wonderful! Only the first two nights were abit noisy cause of some reno of the rooms but other than that had a wonderful staycay here! Really love this kind of concept of boutique hotels. Thanks so much! J. l.We booked 3D2N stay w Santa Grand East Coast, a superior room with bath tub! The price was reasonable for a stay during Xmas weekend despite the room being abit small. Having the bath tub option was great and water is warm with good pressure. The beds and pillows were comfy and the room had a cosy ambience. Smart TV with YouTube was a perk too 👍🏻
Downsides is the constructions ongoing, it may hinder some of y’all. But no issues for me as I just close the curtains. And abit of noise may affect sleep quality.
Getting to and fro the hotel may cause abit of inconvenience too. Accessible by bus with the nearest mrt being at Dakota. (Bluesg nearby fyi)
10/10 stay and we definitely can consider going back! Lots of eating options nearby too~

C. T.It's a nice small heritage hotel on East Coast Road. Good service, friendly. Clean. With a Mexican restaurant. The reception saw me with 2 guys (my sons), offered to give us a vacant room with 2 single beds and a side drawn bed in a small room in exchange for what I booked and paid, a family room. We said, no thanks, will wait. The family room is huge.
D. H. R. B.Tastefully decorated hotel with most hospitable staff (especially the 70 year old lady at the reception). Most amazing feature is its walking distance from East Coast Beach and park, that adds value to customer's money. Some good Indian food outlets there, which satisfy your vegetarian tooth and a south Indian Outlet so close on road near Santa Grand.

B. B.I loved the stay at this hotel.... If I'm going to Singapore in future, this will be my first choice... The staffs are friendly and helpful... You don't get a big invoice unless you use any paid services listed in your room... You can find a listing for that... They will provide early check-in and late checkout options on demand... Just book rooms with free breakfast using agoda... And you are all set to go... And regarding the breakfast, it is pretty decent... If you have kids... There is rice porridge as one item in the buffet...the area have a lot of Chinese and some Indian restaurants..... Most of the important attractions, are in 10 km circle... Only zoo is far away from this hotel...1 hour distance..

S. F.I was able to have a good rest in a compact but comfortable room with everything I needed. It's located on the main street of Katong, so you don't have to worry about eating or drinking, and there are convenience stores within walking distance. The front staff is very kind and polite. Security is also perfect as card keys cannot be used to enter the building at night. Access to the city has become much more convenient now that the subway has been extended. Wi-Fi sensitivity is also good. You can watch Netflix and YouTube on the TV in your room.
The only drawback is that the water pressure in the shower is weak.
It's well worth repeat visits.
А. М.Good hotel for your money. Polite staff. Excellent location: there are many cafes and restaurants around, a fitness center across the street, beautiful architecture and a shopping center within walking distance.
On the roof there is a small but very comfortable pool with sun loungers, showers, and towels.
The only negative: noisy air conditioning in the room. Turned it off at night.
Y. K.Although it is far from the MRT station, there are many buses running so it is not an inconvenience. There are tourist attractions such as Peranakan houses, restaurants, bars, and general stores nearby, so you can have a lot of fun here.
The hotel staff is kind and the rooms are clean. There was an iron in the room. Please note that towels are only bath towels. Drinks (tea, juice) and sweets in the refrigerator were free.
a. y.When I visited last year, I chose this hotel to explore Katong, a town I liked. |It is quite far from the subway station, so we recommend taking a taxi from the airport. |Normally check-in is from 3:00, but I was on duty at 12:00, but the room was vacant, so I was allowed to go to my room without any additional charge. ||Booked a double bed room on the second floor. |The room has a window facing the road, and is spacious enough with a place to put your suitcase and a sofa. ||The shower room is also separated from the toilet by a glass door, and there is a step of several centimeters between the toilet and the toilet, so the toilet never flooded with water. |The hot water supply was sufficient, and during our two-night stay, |the temperature did not drop or the water level decreased. ||When you go out, there are three bus stops within a few minutes walk, so it's convenient for people who are used to taking buses. |For those who don't, we recommend taking a taxi. ||There are large commercial buildings, popular private shops, and stylish restaurants |hawkers nearby, so you can choose from a variety of meals. ||I didn't eat at the hotel, so I don't know, but I was grateful that I could watch NHK on the TV in my room. ||I was asked to keep my luggage after checking in, but when I asked to change my clothes before returning home,|they opened a large wheelchair-accessible toilet|and helped me organize my luggage, which was very helpful. ||If I have the opportunity to stay in this area, I would like to use it again.

However, the rooftop pool had a nice view and was quiet, so it was great for dipping your feet in.
H. K.The person at the front desk was very kind and provided appropriate support. There was no problem with the cleanliness, and although I struggled because the station was far away, there was a bus stop nearby, so I was able to use it and have a very comfortable stay. It is possible to go to the vicinity of Marina Bay Sands and Orchard by bus only, so it can be said that the location is good. The cityscape is beautiful and there is a small shopping mall nearby, so I never had any inconveniences. Even after checking out, you can leave your luggage and leave as long as you let us know when you will be returning.

The receptionist Mery was very kind, always worried about where we were going to give us advice, always with kindness, a smile and friendliness. For hotel prices in Singapore, it is a good accommodation alternative, since it is located in a residential area surrounded by restaurants, cafes, pubs and a shopping center 1 block away. On the top floor there is a very nice outdoor pool.||||Although it was not so close to the tourist places, by taxi you were about 15 minutes away and since taxis are not expensive it was not that much of a problem.

r.I stayed for 4 nights from June 21st to 25th. |The location that was assigned was the opposite side of the main street from L2. |I was a little worried because some of the rooms had flashy interiors based on reviews and photos, but I was very satisfied with the rooms that had very simple interiors. In addition, the room had a bathtub (albeit shallow), a table and a sofa for one person, which was convenient. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, and you can go to Orchard in about 30-40 minutes without changing trains. It's convenient for sightseeing, and there are a lot of cheap and delicious restaurants around the hotel, so I'd like to stay here permanently.

P. D.A good hotel with quality bedding but the room remains very small. But above all the disadvantage remains the location of the hotel because if you want to travel by public transport especially MRT (metro), it is really not ideal. The breakfast is OK and the neighborhood is friendly.

It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport by bus and MRT, the bus stop is right next to the hotel, so it's easy to get to all parts of Singapore||||Pool on the roof terrace is nice, but we didn't use it because we were only 2 Nights were at the Santa Grand East Hotel. WIFI worked without any problems.
K. S.I stayed in a single room. Although the room was small, it had a full-sized desk, a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and was very functional, so I was very satisfied. In addition, the room was clean and had everything I needed, such as a safe, hair dryer, and water heater, so I was very satisfied.

i. c.We stayed one night in Singapore and looked for a hotel, trying not to spend too much, close enough to the airport. There were three of us and the third bed was on the floor but given the not too high cost we didn't say anything. One thing to know is that breakfast starts at seven and they risked losing it and we argued a bit but they were kind to give us a breakfast basket to take with us. So everything was resolved. Overall we slept well.
С. Ф.Very cozy hotel. Nearby (10 minutes) is a park. Lots of cafes and restaurants. The metro is far away (30 minutes walk), but there are a lot of buses nearby. Cozy atmosphere. Wonderful rooftop pool! Friendly staff.||On the downside, we got a room with non-opening windows facing the courtyard and very (!) noisy air conditioners. From 6.30 am to 11.30 pm they even turned off the TV. It's stuffy. With air conditioning - it blows and catches colds.
