Reviews of The Bus Collective
We stayed at the ‘Clarke Quay’ with a bunk bed and 2 singles. Location is great as you’re literally beside the hawker centre and a short walk away from the Changi beach park! The accommodation is fairly spacious given you’re inside a bus. It’s a really novel use of space.
The quality of the interior is modest with obvious signs of wear despite it being a fairly new property. Amenities also very basic with no gym, pool or playground etc. The wifi was also really patchy.
But overall a fun experience, especially for groups and families.
The Bus Collective Resort is amazing, and we can't wait to return! I booked a night for my mum and kids to enjoy some time together, and they absolutely loved it. It's a truly unique staycation experience. The place is spotless, both inside and out. Although at first, we thought the small outdoor dining area by the bus might be too dirty to eat at, we were pleasantly surprised—it was clean and very comfortable for alfresco dining. We regretted not planning a BBQ, but the entire experience was wonderful overall.
The café food is reasonably priced with generous portions, which is rare in many resorts. The breakfast, in particular, was jaw-droppingly good for the price we paid—such great quality!
It was a very unique staycation for my family. The kids were thrilled with the whole experience and the vicinity was very convenient too. The staff were friendly and ever ready when we needed some assistance too. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.
Overall, it was a nice experience for my family and I. It is situated beside the Changi Village Hawker with tons of good food.
The room is cosy and feel just right and my kids enjoyed so much as they role play as Bus Captain.
Thanks to Kelvin for the hospitality.
10/10!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Went for a 2D1N staycay with BBQ! Room comes with basic amenities which includes a shaving kit and toothbrushes! Cool room as well as it used to be a bus! The room Aircon is also very strong as there’s two units. However, there’s 🐜 in the room, but it’s fine as place is near nature. Overall would recommend!😇👍🏻
My son loves it, play as bus captain in the room all day. Location is great, close to a variety of food from foodcourt to seafood restaurant. 5 mins walk to Changi Beach Park. Only one suggestion, the marble paths are really un-friendly for luggage, can anything be done to it?
We booked Queen Victoria super love the bath tub and round bed but pillow is too soft for me. Highly recommended for couple or families to come for a night staycation, Changi village hawker centre in less than 5mins.
Room is super clean and service staff is super friendly. I will definitely recommend this to families who are looking for a unique stay and experience. The bbq is a must try as the hotel has bbq sets equipped with everything and food is fresh too. The bar items in the fridge are all complimentary too!
Super nice and cool room and space, we love it and strongly recommend! Interesting to see how they fit all the amenities in a bus! Nice shower/toilet. Well stocked amenities from toilet to fridge, complementary snacks and drinks. Fuss-free check in and check out!
I read a few negative reviews online before our stay and was mentally prepared for the worst. To my pleasant surprise, this staycation turned out to be one of my most enjoyable staycation. To the kids, staying on the converted bus was just like staying in a camper van. They love having 2 TVs in the room, as they need not fight over the TV. Having Netflix and YouTube is also a plus. The room was clean and cosy. We saw one or 2 ants near the driver's seat and decided not to take any risk, eating on the bus. The hawker centre is right next to us, and one of the side gates leads to it. Although there are no facilities within the compound, the convenience of having the park and sea nearby made up for this. The kids enjoyed the quiet morning walks along in the park, plane spotting and cycling around. Lastly, the service was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. We would love to stay a few more days if it is not so pricey.
Took a mini break to explore the bus collective staycation. Its was quite accessible to changi village as there were side gates access to walk across. I would say it's an unique stay with bbq pits outside.
Alternative stay for transiting, location around 15 minutes from Changi airport. Checked in at 6 AM, Got late check out until 2 PM. Just opened Dec 2023, quite new and nice, beds are comfortable. Good rate compare to others if you travelling with family.
Never had the chance to travel in a camper van. Book this property to experience staying overnight in a vehicle. ||The 2pm check-in time might be too early due to difficulties cleaning 20 vehicles under increment weather.||The staffs are cordial. They ensured our stay is comfortable. Special compliments to Joanne. She apologised for the delayed check-in and for making sure amenities are stocked up.||
For me it's worth it cus of the unique place which is a bus n bbq pit and outdoor seating area (if you prefer fresh air u can open the door and use a stopper ).Great for people who like something different. It's just beside Changi village and there's a shop with bbq supplies and bbq food nearby Changi village.at night there's free entertainment music you can hear at at changi village(music from Shakira which makes me dance 🎶 🎉)there are planes flying above quite frequently but I barely hear the sound as I'm not a light sleeper. The cons is the safety part at the bed area ..I can fall down quite easily . at the bbq Area at night the light is so dim..I can't see clearly and may trip and fall when doing bbq.. hope the lights outside can be turn on more brighter to bbq outside at night. The staff are also helpful and friendly. My 3 kids autistic kids enjoyed their stay there and kept on asking to go back to the bus next time
Right beside Changi V food centre. A quaint area of decommissioned public bus, refurbished into hotel stay with patio and small bbq pit (abt 17" x 12"). Booked the "Clark Quay" which can accommodate max 4 pax. Bed is comfy, had a good night sleep after. Patio can hold guests of abt 6 pax due to the provided seating area and table (with shade). Comes with small fridge with complementary water and other goodies. It's a must to sit in the driver seat of the bus 😚. Though on the slightly pricy side but it's worth it especially for those special occasion and celebrations.
Excellent stay. A little bit far from town but you get your rest here.
Good for a family trip
We're here as a little bus enthusiast in the family. Otherwise, the price is not a worthwhile to spend honestly. A great service for giving us an early check in and late check out and a small anniversary deco prepared for us. Appreciated. Howeve, would be best if the 20% bday disc shall be applicable during the stay not only must be on the date of check in itself (anniversary also excluded).. it s a a different experience of staycation, however a bit down as gotten the bus front side covered by the fire hose wall set up...not manage to utilize the bbq pit. The high room price has been a downside which shall be considered in the future..
Kids find it fun kind of experiences, walking distance to beach.Rental of bike available . Food no issue (hawker centre / restaurant /cafe)nearby super convenient. Thumb 👍🏻 up
Enjoy our stay with family of 5. There’s a patio outside of every bus with portable bbq pit. Tranquility around that area. Can explore the beach nearby as well
Cool experience, affordable price. Location is perfect, hawker centre & food shops are very accessible. Definitely will come back with more friends for grilling!
Overall gd experience for kids. Location is gd with side gates to Changi Village and restaurant. However cleanliness is not very good with floor and tabletop dusty and wet floor mats upon checkin.
Really lovely place! Super spacious and clean, you can even watch the sunrise + sunset views. The service staff were friendly and accommodating, would come back again for another stay
We receive warmth welcome throughout our "bus-cation" from the staff (especially Ashleigh). It was a unique experience for family, and we are looking forward to visit again with new fun and activities. Thank you.
My kids enjoyed our stay, room was clean and spacious. We will definitely come back again.
Had a wonderful new experience with my family in this unique stay we had in a 'bus'. Service was excellent, the staff were polite. Adequately amenities and a beautiful beach.
I have the most amazing stay at The Bus Collective ! My kids love the environment and unique hotel stay ! Friendly and helpful staff that assist us during our stay ! Would recommend family and friends ! ❤️❤️
Great for experiencing the unique hotel, services from the staffs are excellent. The only downside is that the place is quite ulu and hard to get cab then there is only parking lots at the hawker
Nice room, good service, near the hawker centre, but very expensive in my opinion. Plus the bus got a lot of ants...cannot leave any food inside, very fast ants will come.
Natural environment, comfortable rooms, very suitable for leisure and resting space, five-star enjoyment!!!There is also a bar for dinner~ chill sia~
Very nice bus hotel. Very comfortable.
