Perfect location, service is very good for a 3 stars hotel, room is very tidy and clean however size is too small, very accommodating staffs and friendly environment. Worth to stay if you're only looking for a good night sleep and not for luxury. Definitely, recommended!

Our 1 night stay was fantastic. Everything was great in our room and also the breakfast we liked. But the hospitality was excellent and in particular the service of guest relations employee Moli was oustanding!!! We arrived very late and had to leave the next day already but our flight would be very late in the next night namely at 2 a.m. The creative solutions and suggestions she gave us were thé best we ever had. And we are very experienced travellers. SO THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH DEAR MOLI, the way you treated us was with so much empathy and understanding that you should be a manager one day (we say as former managers in Hospitality). Bathrooms are also maintained well - *Value*:🟠 may be the the hotel is overpriced for the size of the room - very smooth check in and check out- I have spent 15-20 seconds for check in and 5 secs for check out -Food :🟠 Decent food. Indians would feel little disappointed with the food options. May be you could add a bit more variety or change the menu everyday. Feels like lots of things are repeated everyday Overall, the V Hotel Bencoolen is a good option for those who prioritize location and are willing to compromise on room size and amenities. It’s okay for a cost-saving choice, especially if you’re traveling alone, but the room is very small and you can’t really move around or put your stuff at ease in the room. Despite the small size of the room, it has almost everything a business hotel needs to have with good air conditioning and properly hot shower. The location of it is the true deal-breaker as it’s well connected to basically any area in the city a visitor may want to check out. The staffs are friendly overall, trying to make things easy and comfortable for your stay.

We stayed at this hotel in the last week of May. The hotel is right next to the Bencoolen MRT station which is great. The front desk was quite helpful and responsive to all our needs. Housekeeping staff always ensured sheets were changed every two days and also the hand towels. Rooms are quite small in size and are only sufficient for two people. We had our room facing the main road so we could always watch what was happening outside. We really appreciate letting us check-in early and check-out one hour later than the specified timings. Located near to the hotel are convenience stores and also a food court. Overall we had a good and comfortable stay at V Hotel Bencoolen during our time at Singapore.

Hotel V Bencoolen is a great value hotel to live in. It is very centrally located to all types of food and the MRT is just next to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel V Bencoolen and the service from all staff were great, friendly and helpful. The rooms although were slightly smaller but they were clean and our towels and bed linen were changed everyday. Right from the reception desk to the concierge staff nothing was to hard for them. They were always helpful and on hand to help with our luggage and provide any assistance as needed. We would like to thank John who's service was outstanding and also Henry. On our checkout we were greeted by the General Manager who thanked us for staying at Hotel V Bencoolen. We would highly recommend Hotel V Bencoollen as they have one of the best locations for food, shopping and great service. S & L Ellison Perth, Western Australia

Before my stay, I sent a few enquiries to the hotel, and they were able to reply to me promptly and to my satisfaction.The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is right next to an MRT station.In terms of the room, there were two main issues. Firstly, there is no effective compar**ent to stop the water from splashing out during a shower. There is usually a curtain or a complete glass compar**ent for the shower area in other hotels, but not this one. Since the bathroom is right at the door, the whole design is just weird and inconvenient.Secondly, when I first checked-in, I saw two lychee branches on top of the small table beside my bed, which I think was from the previous guest. The cleanliness of the room is not at a high level.Overall, I was satisfied with the service and amenities of the hotel, but it is the room design and cleanliness that should be reviewed for further improvement.

Very good location, like few steps away from MRT Station, in front of a mosque. The size of the room is quite small, perhaps the standard in Singapore. Stayed here for 5 days in the triple room. Rooms are clean and tidy and serviced regularly. We also got the early check in on request. The location is strategic. Stones throw away from Bencoolen MRT (Downtown Line). 8 mins walk to Dhoby Ghaut. (Circle line, NE line and NS line). So connectivity was great. Good food options at hotel restaurant as well as nearby.

I stayed at this hotel during the chaos of The Eras Tour and received excellent service by Moli at the reception counter. The room is a tad small but clean and sufficient for a few nights stay. Great location - there's an MRT right outside and within walking distance from Bugis and a lot of eateries. Will come back and stay here again.

Known that the cost of accommodation in Singapore is skyrocket high. This place is worth the value at its price range. Though the room is a bit small and tight, it provides all basic needs for the guests. The location is great, just next to Bencoolen MRT exit A. Dynasty food court is just a few walk away, also convenient stores are nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Definitely be one of the best choices to be considered when traveling to Singapore.

Best hotel, best service, strategic near mrt bencoolen & bus stop, walk in 7minutes to Bugis. Staffs are kind & good attitude, very helped. Cost at least $400 for 2nights (in high demand, Taylor Swift’s concert). Next if we want to Singapore, we will stay here again. Very recommended!

This hotel is located in the prime of Downtown. There is so much to do all around. The staff were very friendly and helpful when required. However, the rooms were a bit of a let down, very small and extremely basic. We didn't have much room to move about.

We’re only here for a short stay for a friend’s wedding and surprisingly the hotel is really convenient to get around the town. Location is accessible with 2 direct subway lines and we can get to places within 25 mins most of the time. Will definitely consider to visit again.

The hotel is in great location. It’s easy to travel around, only a few steps from Bencoolen station. The check-in and check-out process was really fast. The room is small. The room we got is quite dark and has really thin walls. The rooms across and next to us were really loud during our stay.

First time booking a room here via Agoda to watch the Coldplay concert and have a good impression of this hotel, the location is very strategic, next to the MRT station, the hotel rooms are neat, the condition of the new hotel building is clean, the staff is friendly, in front of the hotel there is a mosque, suitable for religious people Muslim, there are many places to eat, minimarket food vendors close to the shopping location by BUGIS STREET, really the best experience and I will always come back. Excellent staff service, there is a small pool, a laundromat, great location (it is beside the MRT) and near the city center with lots of food centers/restaurants below. They provided water, instant coffee, tea, dental kits, towels, shampoo, shower gel, and even slippers. The only problem was the rooms. It was tiny and we couldn't even open our luggages fully. And rooms are not soundproofed. I got woken up multiple times early in the morning because some guests are too loud and kids keep running and playing in the hallway. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this place!

This hotel located in a good location. Near MRT exit. But the price is expensive compared to the amenities inside the room. I booked a twin bedroom, the room smaller than I expected. You have to put your baggage (26"up) on the bed in order to open it even it dirty which I hated it.The bedsheet has a dirty spot. The refrigerator is located inside the cabinet which it can open only 45 degrees because it placed at the end of the bed. In my opinion, others hotel around has bigger room size with same rate, which I will choose it for the next time.

Very good hotel. Rooms are typical size compared to same type in the area. Special mention to Henry who is very attentive to your needs. Right beside DT21 and near CC2 stations.

Decent room. Was a solo traveler but a couple would've been fine with the queen bed. Quite unfortunate that during the daytime the sound insulation proved to be poor with the other noisy guests. 6th floor and can barely hear the streets though.

My overall stay at V Hotel Bencoolen was great but the rooms feel somewhat outdated and could do with a makeover!- Pros - Service: Staff are super warm and friendly and you can definitely feel it through my interactions with them throughout my stay which was for 2 nights- Additionally room service was extremely fast and responsive- They also lend out umbrellas if the weather doesn't look too goodLocation: The MRT is basically next door to the hotel (even though Google maps kept telling me to walk from a different MRT - please check if you're new to Singapore)- Also super close to many different eateries- Highlight for us was visiting the Tekka Centre at around 6am to grab breakfast - plenty of hawker style stores with many optionsRoom: As per other comments, this place had decent sound proofing and overall it was okSwimming pool: They had a nice pool (image attached) which is only opening during certain hours but is actually open outside of those hours - managed to get in a morning dip before being told by the staff the pool was not open yet but the doors are still open for those who want to pop in ;)- Cons - Room facilitiesHairdryer: Voltage was low so they expect you to only use the hairdyer for 5-10 seconds per usage and you need to repeat this (Which makes drying your hair almost impossible to do), not to mention hairdyer cord was super short and inside a drawer so you pretty much need to strain yourself to dry closer to the drawerBathroom: Sink drainage in the bathroom wasn't great with the sink often getting full (the only solution the hotel said was to take out the drainage "plug" completelyCleanliness: Bed sheets were also not the cleanest - see attached imagery for referenceSpace: Overall the room was quite small (and yes I know space is limited in Singapore) but it feels like they need to refresh their room layout

I book superior room and got a very spectacular window view of the city. Staff was very nice to gave me a complimentary late check out. Room was small but had enough amenities such as mini fridge, hair dryer, toiletries and smart tv. Will certainly come again.

Rooms were okay, though I expected it to be better. I think their main selling point is the location. It's beside exit A of bencoolen station, has a convenience store beside it, and orchard road and bugis street are just a stone's throw away from the hotel.

Spent four nights in this hotel with my parents. We have a triple room with no breakfast. You can add extra breakfast to your room rates around $10 per person. The buffet restaurant is just next door. The best thing about this hotel is their location. It’s just in the city centre. Near to shops and restaurants. And the landmarks just on walking distance. MRT Station just two blocks away. Bus station just 50 meters. The location is just perfect if you want to spend your holiday in this hotel. Staffs are great especially Mr. Henry. He is very helpful and has very quick response. I believe so many guest are coming back to this hotel because of his service. Thank you Mr.Henry!

Location-wise, I think it's great. There are two MRT stations and lots of convenience stores nearby, and also a money changer right next to the hotel. There is also a food court nearby, and lots of restaurant and cafes around the hotel. The room might be a bit small, but the staffs here are really friendly and helpful.

Superior Queen Room was very small. It's really not the same as advertised. The city view on the 9th floor was nice. Tv channel was only local, no international. Signal lost most time. Good place to stay with a service to match, location is pretty decent as well considering how close it is to the city when traveling by train (about 15-25 mins walk for the more adventurous). However, there is currently construction of a new train station infront of the hotel. Edit: construction is done, road is now open making the hotel a lot more accessible.

Good location near the metro or if you are okay with a 20-minute walk. There is no lobby (which we would expect in a 4* hotel), the room is very small but not a problem for us. What is bad, however, is that the towels do not seem very clean (they provide white towels but these are full of stains) and we had a cockroach in the room (on the 5th floor)… A bit disappointing so we will not do it again. susceptible.

The location is great for exploring Singapore! Many sights can be easily reached on foot or by MRT. The rooms are miniature, but sufficient for an overnight stay. There is TV and fast internet. A miniature bathroom doesn't make life easier either - when taking a shower, you flood it all over. There is a safe and an espresso machine in the room. The advantage of the hotel is its location literally above the metro station. There is a currency exchange point and a grocery store right next to the hotel. Breakfast is modest, served in the restaurant next door - more of a continental type, with a small selection.

Hotel located next to the Bencoolen metro station, therefore very convenient for reaching the main places of interest. Even with Grab there are no problems as they have an area at the back where drivers can enter and load people and luggage without impediments. The room was tiny, it was really difficult for three of us with three bags. Small bathroom but with a nice shower. Clean. AC impossible to regulate, so always very cold. Swimming pool on the third floor but practically covered and with very few deckchairs or chairs. Hotel good only for a maximum of two nights.

Stayed in V Bencoolen Hotel for two nights and was satisfied with the room and the service from the staff. They were all friendly. The only small drawback was the air conditioning. It was either too warm, which caused the air quality to suffer, or it was too cold, which isn't great either. The location of the hotel is optimal. You have almost direct access to public transport. The breakfast was also varied and delicious.

Pros: - the main plus is the proximity to the metro (literally a few steps under the canopy, so the rain is not scary) - 4 elevators, no queues - clean room without any foreign smell - good Wi-Fi, separate network for each room - there is a small pool and the opportunity to do your own laundry (5 dollars washing, 5 dollars drying) Cons: - the breakfast is disgusting. Eggs, beans, French fries, nuggets, tasteless noodles, some kind of deep-fried dough. Edibles include toast (butter and jam), milk, cereal. Watermelon, sometimes an orange (they are quickly sorted out, the tray is almost always empty). Plus a lot of people, very noisy, poorly washed dishes and cutlery. You constantly need to ask the staff to bring something, fill it or fix it. - the room is very small. There is literally nowhere to put two suitcases, there are not enough surfaces (including the floor). - no toilet paper (instead, napkins hung above the toilet behind your back), no brush, no small hand towels. - there are no places for drying wet towels and things. That is, there is no place to dry a swimsuit after the pool, we dried it on the back of a chair and the closet door. - one socket for the entire room, and that one is far from the bed. Also, you cannot turn off the lights in the room from the bed. - there is no way to turn off the air conditioner or adjust the power. It always blows, quite strongly, you can only regulate the temperature. - very uncomfortable tall hard pillows. In general, I will not recommend the hotel, although I liked the area, I advise you to take a closer look at other hotels nearby, there are a lot of them.

Small but pleasant room, good location since it is very close to the metro station and you can easily move to areas like the Indian neighborhood or the park by walking. Nearby there are several restaurants at good prices. It has an indoor pool that no one ever goes to and washing machines and dryers for clothes. It is a good hotel for the characteristics of the city.
