Exactly a week ago, my toilet ceiling started leaking and I was frantically trying to diagnose the problem. I contacted many companies but Everyworks replied the fastest. I Whatsapped them at 646pm, sent them some photos and by 855pm, confirmed an appointment for a technician to take a look. Technician Mr. Pandian came 2 days later and told me my water heater was leaking. 3 days after, Mr. Pandian came to cut the false ceiling, replace water heater. Today, Mr. Mahfuz and Mr. Venkat came back to patch and paint the false ceiling. Flawless job! Know what they are doing! Highly recommended!

I am absolutely pleased with the quick response time from Everyworks. I Whatsapped them at noon and got a reply swiftly about what the cost might be, and options available. Our 15-yo toilet rack broke from the wall, and I was actually worried that I may have to find a new one (for which I don't have the time to hunt down a similar one in the near future). They managed to get their technician Deb to come down just an hour later on the same day!! WOW. And Deb was super friendly and efficient, and he was able to resolve our issue within half an hour. I think the fee charged was reasonable too. Blown away by the company and their service. If I have other small home repairs in the future, I will think of hiring them first.

Update (20 Aug): When I first received the reply from the team regarding my initial post, I was prepared for this to just be a standard PR reply. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they followed-up with me almost immediately and managed to work something out. Will I consider engaging them again after what happened? Most likely. Because aside from the bad experiences stated in my earlier post, everything else have been relatively positive (the workers doing the replacement / repair work and the customer service officers). -- We knew we had an issue when we experienced a power trip after turning on my storage water heater for about 5 minutes. As I saw many positive reviews online, I contacted Everyworks for assistance on this matter. I was told that they would be sending someone down to check on the issue before they could advise further. The technician came, checked only the water heater, and told us that it was spoilt and we were required to replace it. No checks were done on the heater switch or wiring, and he also did not even mention the possibility that the trip could be caused by the switch/wiring. As we had no choice but to trust his assessment, we were ok to proceed with the solution being offered by the company (replacing the heater), which came at quite a significant cost. As we wanted things to be done properly to avoid further issues, we were okay with the high price, as long as they were able to solve our issue. However, after replacing the water storage heater, the power still tripped when the serviceman was testing it. We told us that there was a very high chance that the issue was caused by the switch/wiring and that they would arrange for an electrician to get it checked. Even though the issue was not resolved, we were told that full payment still had to be made for the replacement of the water heater. We voiced out our displeasure at this and was told that they take our feedback very seriously and would look into this. Eventually, the electrician came down and informed us that the power trip was caused by the wires in the heater switch being damaged. Credits to the electrician for an excellent job fixing the issue and taking the liberty to conduct a thorough check on all other potential areas. When we followed up with them on the status of the heater charges, we were told that we still had to make full payment for both the replacement of the heater and the electrical repair work, with the reason given that both the water heater and wirings had issues to begin with. And out of goodwill, the best they could do was to offer us a $10 discount on the total cost. We have no issues making payment for the electrical work, and would have no complaints if a thorough check was done during the initial assessment and were told that both the heater and wiring had issues. However, based on the sequence of events, it makes us question whether the replacement of the heater was even necessary in the first place, considering our heater is from a reputable brand and we only had it for less than 5 years. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Aircon service DWaircon is excellent. I have been with them for over a year. Installed Mitsubishi aircon very well with no issues at all. Servicing was honest and on point. Communication professional and timely. Aircon technicians, usually Ramesh and once Pandi, as well as customer service officers Marianne, Jackie, Ryan. When I recently decided to try their home cleaning service, DWhelper, it was rather disappointing. 1) Response time is very slow, up to the order of days. Usually takes many hours such as over half a day. 2) Information given is spotty and incomplete. But when I reach out for clarity or confirmation, there is still courtesy so at least that’s okay. 3) But most vexing is the two attempts so far at engaging a first cleaning session. Lack of professionalism and trustworthiness. Cleaner and customer service rep give conflicting information and inconsistent stories. More details below: Last Sat, Dharmini, Malaysian number, contacted me the night before asking to shift a few hours earlier. I rearranged my schedule slightly to accommodate a middle ground timing. Then, on Sat morning, they changed timing again when I was already implementing. When I contacted customer service, the excuse given was there’s a family event so want to shift earlier. But this doesn’t explain why they suddenly reverted back to later time. I refused service and asked for another cleaner next week as I have already cleaned key parts of my house while waiting for Dharmini. This Sat, Muna (Jamuna జమున), also from a Malaysian number, sent four messages that she eventually deleted (so I never saw them) and gave me a few missed calls. I was planning to sticking to the correct timing today - no more flexible timing after last week. Muna was punctual so that’s great. I apologised for a 15min delay due to handling kids on the way home from lunch outside (I was planning to let cleaner end at exact time because starting late was my fault, not hers). Then lo and behold, Muna sent a message saying “I do 2 hours only. My company give discount for you.” I clarified with the customer service officer as I booked 3 hours. They said “Our cleaner unfortunately had a fall on her way to your house and has requested to shorten the cleaning hours if possible. I’m truly sorry for the incident.” They even offered to waive the fee. My issue is not with the fee. Is with the professionalism, trustworthiness, processes, communication… Then they offered to refund the full amount. Still doesn’t address factual discrepancies and the communication breakdowns. And for both cases, the cleaning work hasn’t even been seen yet. It’s not about the money. Rather disappointing.

Also the good worksmanship of Technician Khan that came and install all the toilet bowl, taps and shower mixer. Thanks to both of you. He also helped to putty the wall holes which were there after he removed the previous trunks & also helped us to clean up. Well done. This is also not our first time engaging Everyday Works & Day Electrical. We have engaged them many times & will continue engaging. The work is perfect top notch & very skillful. Safety against electrocution & shock is most important. I will continue to engage their perfect service. To be honest, I was very skeptical about aircon companies because the previous one came and cleaned every quarterly yet the aircon was still leaking. So I decided to find a new aircon company to come fix the aircon leaking problem. I googled and people recommended Everyworks. I checked their website for services. I decided to just give it a go so I whatsapp to tell them about my problem. They gave me the possible reasons for leaking and the price ranges as well. I thought the price was OK and made an appointment. EveryWorks staff, Pandian, definitely exceeded my expectation. He came punctually and did a step by step analysis to find the source of the dripping aircon. It was not the usual clogging and he took the time to find out where the problem was! He also quoted me the price to be sure I was OK before carrying out the works. So as you can see, the problem actually happened during installation of the aircon. They taped the pipe too much that it did not allow the water to flow through. Price wise, it was definitely transparent and reasonable for the kind of work done! (Note: Cash and cheque payment only) Really want to RECOMMEND EveryWorks and Pandian for the thorough job! I am definitely a happy customer!

Contacted the customer service on WhatsApp on Tues. On the day itself, they came to inspect. Costs $35 for inspection. The handyman was good, he recommended stainless steel for the new pipings. Mr Arun is very knowledgable and fix my burning light bulb fast. Thanks for coming on such short notice On a side note Their customer support was not proficient to answer my queries and was really upset how disconcerting she was when I was so concerned with the burning smell which I suspect that could be something electrical that's burning and that might cause fire hazard. Saying that they cannot troubleshoot if I do not know the source and they have no manpower to help with such requests. I had previously contacted them on another occassion for a constant power trip and the customer support totally dismissed me telling me they are fully booked. Hence I left a negative review for being so unconcerned with such electrical emergencies this time. Ms Lim thereafter contacted me and apologize on behalf of their customer support. I appreciate her followup thereafter and everything went fast to get my problems solved by Mr Arun. Thank you and hope it does not have to resort to a negative review to get things done next time. I was pleasantly surprised by the responsive response to my enquiry about the charges for repairing the bathroom sink stopper that was stuck. It's professional that it sent a sample picture to show how we should provide the photo on the stopper issue. The charges are reasonable. Once agreed upon, it immediately fixed the appointment time for repair and advised us to seek permission from our condo management for the repair. The plumber contacted me and asked to come earlier. When arrived, they were courteous and friendly and displayed confidence in replacing the stopper and tested it to show that it worked. They kindly and patiently answered all the questions we asked. We are impressed with their attitudes towards us and the work. In appreciation, we paid an amount above what was charged and they refunded the amount. What a fuss-free and nice experience that the repair was done so quickly and at reasonable rate.

I reached out to Everyworks on a Sunday morning due to electrical fault issue in the house and they were able to dispatch someone to take a look in the evening. Aru, the electrician, was professional and detailed in his checks. Turned out the problem was not as serious as I thought and he resolved the issue within half an hour.
