Came to know 81 air con while searching for a reliable installer to replace my 17yo AC systems. Was attracted by their many accreditations n good reviews hence decided to try. WhatsApp for quotation, Jia Jia responded promptly, site view by Steven (Boss!) with some given advice, quotation provided, some minor confirmations on FC locations thru WhatsApp, full payment made & 2 days later, a new ME Starmex sys 1 & sys 4 (18/9/9 btu) installed ❤️❤️❤️ Technician Nazim, Sawkat n another guy came and completed timely 👍 1st thing done was cover up with plastic sheets over furniture, bed, etc after confirming FC, piping, casing locations. Good workmanship on FC done up locations, piping & casing run (Minimum painting work to touch up 💕) What was really impressive & made them stand out is their upholding on quality workmanship even on water discharging piping - an additional insulation over e water pipe even when it is near to the discharging end in service yard👏 Was thinking to just discharge near ledge area just like what my upper unit done but was not allowed 👍 They truly deliver & deserve their accreditations 👏👏👏 Some small little imperfections - 2 FC didn't install with air cleaning filters (white pads) while other 2 FC installed with which Jia Jia is following up with supplier👏 Thank You Steven, Jia Jia & your wonderful team of installers on these nicely done up air con systems with quality workmanship @ competitive pricing too 💕💕💕 Will definitely look for 81 air con on my future air con needs 👍👍👍 Thank You Ivy, Kumar for today wonderfully service checks & gas top up. Decided to engage 81 Aircon to install System 1 24k btu for my living room as their quote as compared to others were the best. However, installation which was supposed to end in just a day, got dragged to total of 3 days due to issues regarding leaking water pipe. I was disappointed that the installers and another tech couldn't solve the issue after the second day. Lucky for me, they activated their senior technician, Kumar, and after thorough check of my water pipe, he confirmed that the installers didn't do a good job in ensuring elevation of the water pipe, thus causing backflow of the water to the water pump and subsequently leaked from there. Kumar came on the third day and redo the water pipe and gave great advices. Pros: - Admin Jia Jia were accommodating to our requests - Site visit engineer gave good advices on where to run cables and water pipe - Senior technician Kumar was relentless in solving the issues faced Cons: - Uncontactable after office hours to raise emergency concerns, resulting having to wait till the next day for reply - Technicians seem to rush for next appointment so the work doesn't seem genuine - Housekeeping not well done. I have random silicone patches and paint chipped off from my wall which I have to paint over. Dust were left all over although I used my own plastic sheets to cover up and I have to clean up for 3 straight days which was so tiring I hope the company will also provide better welfare for their workers and organise their schedule better so that they won't rush the job. Are they recommended? Well, I guess it depends on the technicians who does the installation for you. In my case, I had to wait for an emergency to get their best one in my opinion.

I came across this company when I was searching for Mitsubishi aircon online and found their price quite reasonable. Jia Jia responded to me when I enquired the aircon information for my new place. She was very responsive and helped me to select the type of aircon I required although I already had in mind what to buy . She even follow up with me after the installation to check everythings were in place. During the installation date, the installers came when my ID was not around but they were quite accommodative and came back to install the aircon. They also helped to wrap up the aircon nicely since the house is still under renovation. Aircon price quoted was reasonable for the 3 Daikin systems purchased. Product are brand new and Everlyn was very professional n patient! She was the main reason why I choose to go with 81 Aircon even though they ain’t the lowest quote I gotten. She deserve 5 stars. However I need to deduct 1 star for the site installation for creating really a mess in my house. Totally no dust control. Work is pretty rough. But they got the aircon installed n working. I would give them 3 stars and average to have a final 4 star rating. They should improve in the site execution n sure have room for improvement. Update: 23 Jul 2024 Servicing repair by Kumar was excellent and explained the issue. Recommended preventive measures too.

Communication is easy to arrange to purchase the aircon. Installation was very good as the installers put in hours to do it, especially changing the compressor outside our unit I have to minus a star as one remote control was found to be faulty and asked to be replaced or checked, the sales person responded but subsequently think blocked my number as my message sent was not delivered. Too bad I have to buy my own RC replacement. I could have given a 5 stars' review if he had attended to me to resolve the issue.

When I contacted 81 Aircon to find out about installing a new aircon system, Jia Jia attended to me and patiently took me through the whole process, from quotation to installation. The initial installation went well, but a drainage issue came up some days later. When I brought it up to Jia Jia, she made arrangements for her staff to fix it at the earliest possible date. This issue was fully rectified and it has not recurred. Through it all, Jia Jia has been a great help. On 30 Sept 2024, Kumar did an excellent job servicing my aircon system.
