I was looking to install a brand new System 3 Airconditioning for my Sister’s flat, and after shortlisted 5 to 6 companies, decided to contact them via their respective web portal… The fastest to response (you guess it) was from Poh Meng, and after some short message exchanges with Sales Rep (Mr Steven) I was quite convinced the overall package is reasonable… What to look out for: Compressor System to support how many fan coils (For my case, x3 sets of 9k BTU) No cost to remove current piping and system (compressor/ fan coil) Site survey to ensure no additional cost from extra hacking/ difficult routing of water & Copper pipes/ wiring/ casing Daikin DSP materials at no extra charge The booking of date to install the System 3 was quite smooth, fortunate to get a slot within 2 weeks due to current COVID restriction, if not should be up to a month… Remember to sign up Daikin Proshop portal for additional warranties. Day of installation, I double checked to ensure material used are indeed DSP materials. Special credit to the Poh Meng Crew installers (Mossa & Masud), both are very professional throughout the whole process, ensuring there is no short cut, and the water piping gradient are flowing downwards to ensure no back flow (previous ones caused water back flow). As site survey was done well, no surprises for the holes to drill, the piping route etc… Overall, I strongly recommend their professional services, and I am confident this new system will last a longer time than my previous (8 years)… Thank you Poh Meng Engineering…

It was a big decision to replace our 3 system 1 aircon installed years ago with nice wall concealed piping because the new installation will be with exposed trunking in our master bedroom. We were very careful with our contractor selection. We are pleased to have picked Poh Meng for the new aircon installation. Although we have to use huge 4”x4” exposed trunking, it was done to our satisfaction. The sealing of holes and trunking gaps were done neatly. The two fancoils in my living room have a slight overhang on the wall beam as such they did a good job in boxing up the overhang, nicely plastered and sealed. We are very particul We are also please with the compressors installation. I was just asking the supervisor Ali if I can wrap the exposed induction pipes at the compressor with aluminium foil and he replied yes. At the end of installation, to my pleasant surprise they left and then came back later with aluminium tapes to wrap up all the insulation pipes at the time it was around 7pm+ quite dark already. Overall we are very pleased and glad that we have picked Poh Meng Engineering for the job.

I was being served by Mr Steven Lau at Daikin Pro Shop (Poh Meng) at Compass one. He provide me a very detail explanation on the aircon system and the installation process. He give me a sense of confidence and immediately I booked the air con for my new BTO flat. First appointment was site survey by Mr Selvam, he did a good survey, explained clearly and suggest alternative to fix into my requirements. Follow by second appointment wiring installation and third final appointment on aircon installation, The installation team were very professional, polite and with a present smile. The team leader is Mr Mossa, he is very patience, very detail in his work, explained to me very professionally on the question being asked by me during the mid of installation. He is very knowledgeable in his area of work. Appreciate Mr Steven Lau for his patience for helping me to do few changes on the date of appointments. Thank you very much for all of your contribution; Mr Steven Lau, Mr Selvam and the remarkable installation team leader Mr Mossa and his team member.

Had my old air-con replaced with Daikin. Great service during installation. Very thoughtful to simple details like placement of indoor unit, trunking, covering up furniture, floor, beds and cleaning up after. Not to mention getting rid of the old units. If you ever head to Daikin Proshop by Poh Meng at Compass One, look for Steven. Great guy to deal with. Helpful, knowledgeble and thoughtful to your needs and requirements. If it weren't for him, I would have gotten the wrong units. Once again, Thanks Steve! Highly recommended. All the best!

Our 10 year old Panasonic aircon started giving problems during circuit breaker and got worsen afterwards despite doing maintenance after CB. So we decided to change to Daikin after considering that it's a trusted and better choice. In Singapore, in this age and day, unlike 30 years ago, we must have an aircon system. The heat and humidity is unbearable already. Especially so when we have young infant that cannot regulate their body temperature. We went to Daikin Proshop by Poh Meng at Compass One (Sengkang). We were served by Steven. Nice and friendly guy. Gave us great insight and information so to better allow us make an informed decision. He also did a great job to help arrange for earliest site inspection and installation. Sincerely appreciate their professional service by Steven and his engineers colleagues. Thank you very much. Highly recommended! It's been a week and we are enjoying using it and very grateful for this excellent product by Daikin. Love it! Also, do take note, if you have children and pets, please arrange them to be away during installation. It takes about a day to finish the job. And there's so much dusts and small particles all over the house despite they did their best to cover and protect your furniture and furnishings.

I have to give credit to Steven at this store, he was very polite and patient in explaining the air conditioner to me. I would also like to commend the technical team or Poh Meng Engineering who sent someone to my house to install the air conditioner. First of all they were punctual, very polite and very careful with my stuff. So they had plastic to cover the bed and furniture in my room. The service and attitude of Poh Meng Engineering are very good. Excellent service from store purchase through follow-up service and installation. I consulted several friends and they all said that DAIKIN's air conditioner is good. So I came to the DAIKIN shop at Compass One. Steven was very patient and professional! Helped us choose one. After installation, it feels really different! Very very quiet! Continuing from last time...a few days after installation, the air conditioner suddenly stopped. It happened to be during the Spring Festival, but the air conditioner was not used during the Spring Festival. After the Spring Festival, I sent someone to repair it once, but within two days it started not cooling again. I think there may be nothing wrong with the air conditioner itself. The problem lies in the installation. The installer was not very professional, which led to the malfunction. After the second repair, so far so good. Waiting for Daikin to do the final debugging. I hope it can live up to my expectations.
