I have had travel insurance for many years and never claimed anything. My Chubb annual insurance policy was expiring at the end of October and I had received a renewal notice a month earlier. Not having claimed I thought maybe I will skip insurance and save some money. I had not made the decision when suddenly I was taken sick, I ended up hospitalized overseas for 4 days during the last two weeks of my policy Recovering just before the end of my policy I immediately renewed and started a claim not knowing how easy that would be. I was greatly impressed with how easy it was to complete the claim and upload the supporting documents The claims department came back and asked some very fair questions and for clarification of a couple of things. I clarified the issues and sent additional supporting documentation and a week later received notification that my claim was approved and would be repaid in full Rarely does customer service from many large corporations meet expectations but in this case it exceeded For anyone considering whether they need insurance, the fact that you are considering it means that you do ! I would have no hesitation to recommend Chubb

I had to make a claim due to a delayed luggage incident. Firstly, easy to contact Chubb when it happened. I did not have to be put on hold too long on phone and the customer service team was helpful and patient to assist. Process of making claim was easy and systemic. Done on website and was very guided. Easier to do on laptop than mobile phone though. Settlement was done quick too. I submitted my claim over the weekend and got notified before Tuesday, so 2 working days even though 10 was stated. I have been using Chubb for my past trips and definitely recommend, though best to never have an incident that you actually need to make a claim happen. However, if something does happen, they will make it a less stressful experience and help settle.

I bought a yearly insurance with Chubb before going for holiday on 2nd November. Unfortunately I had altitude sickness and needed to cancel my tour. I decided to fly back to Singapore when I felt better after few days rest and this occurred an additional flight expenses. I tried to claim the insurance online. I am grateful that not more than two weeks, Chubb verified and granted me the claim. This is the first time I claim travel insurance, it appeared easy as long as you provide proved documents. It is unlike the insurance company before Covid, the staff is normal in the phone, not like previous will delight you in many aspects like answering your question, think of what is good for you etc. and the insurance price go up more than double compared to what I use to buy from them every year. I should drop the rating stars 😅 Update 6 Oct: based on Chubb response, I provide my contact, and they just emailed me a note that understands my frustration, and take note of my feedback. This is a typical motherhood statement. It is no point asking for my personal contact, it is same in their google response. Not sincere and wasting my time.

claim process was straight forward and payment was quick to be dispensed but website is fraught with bugs - mobile OTP has no submit button, website has slow response, email verification is the only function that worked, and every time you log in you need a verification. there is no consolidated list of your claims, and if you forget your claim number that’s it. no email is sent or details of your claim. i hope Chubb improves their website.

Worst experiencing with gadget claim, customer care says they do not support gadget insurance claims and email the support no reply for a month And just on time deducting month insurance amount.
