From the very beginning, she took the time to understand our style, and she was attentive to our needs throughout the entire process. Many thanks to Kenji and his team for the hard work and great effort in transforming the resale unit we bought into our dream home! What was delivered was as per the 3D renderings and it exceeded expectations. Engaged Yang Horng for my first home last year and after hearing all the renovation horror stories from friends and online I must say I am thankful for him and satisfied with the service and workmanship provided! While I had a general idea of what I wanted, he gave useful suggestions and counter suggestions throughout my renovation and appliance/furniture purchasing process, including when I was selecting items from Taobao. I am glad I took his advice as reflecting after staying for half a year, everything suited my needs well! After renovation service was good as well, he remained responsive and was prompt to resolve them. Electrician uncle was super helpful too. Minus 1 star cause of the kitchen top cabinet mistake by the carpentry team which was unfortunate although I recognise Yang Horng tried his best to make good based on the situation.

We recently completed the renovation of our 5-room HDB with Jim Lee from Charlotte’s Design Pte Ltd, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience and outcome. Jim was incredibly patient, responsible, and consistently prompt in responding to our WhatsApp messages, even late at night or while he was overseas. During the design phase, he was honest and practical, offering sound advice to help us make the best decisions for our home. For instance, he recommended a feature wall over limewash for our living room, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. He also went the extra mile to assist us in selecting tiles and laminates, always providing practical and stylish suggestions. What truly impressed us was his dedication and commitment. Despite the busy peak season, Jim made an extra effort to come to our house personally to touch up plaster walls and do minor painting when the contractors were unavailable. Long overdue review, but towards the end of 2022 had my BTO renovation done by Charlotte's Carpentry. Our ID was Jia Hui, and he was nothing short of amazing for us. Always contactable, hardworking, kept us updated on everything that was going on. He would always try to rectify issues before letting us know on what has happened. Strongly recommended for anyone looking to renovate their BTOs. 7 months on living in my flat and everything is still working great. My home feels like a home. Jim was my assigned ID and he works independently. I find him knowledgeable and helpful. He's responsive and would always offer me his 2 cents when I had a hard time deciding. It's been an enjoyable experience entrusting my 1st home to him. I'd def recommend him to anyone looking to reno their space! However, -1 star as I think there's some room for improvement in their contractor's workmanship - e.g. the paint on one of my switches was visibly scrapped off and some hidden carpentry has gaps and finishing wasn't filed cleanly. Overall no big issues and the project was completed within plan. Thanks Jim!

Overall, I am a very satisfied customer witnessing the completed job and the quality of works done. Previously I had an old HDB flat renovated by another company and thus I was able to clearly relate and compare between the two companies. I must say Charlotte’s carpentry indeed live up to its reputation. However, I also strongly believe the interior designer assigned to my project plays a huge part in this success. Thus, I would like to personally write this email of commendation to acknowledge her efforts. Frances Yap. Frances was outstanding in every aspect. She is so far the most: Responsible, Professional, Prompt in updates, Knowledgeable, Accommodating, Ultra responsive interior designer that I had personally came across. I clearly remember two incidents where Frances responded quickly to my ad-hoc questions. She was on leave, back to Malaysia. Despite being on leave, she spares no efforts to still respond to my queries. (Yes, she did inform me she is on leave beforehand. Although I did not expect her to respond, but she surprised me with her professionalism at work). She was sick, probably on MC, she didn’t say but I can easily infer from her voice that she is not feeling well when she picks up my call. Yet, she still gives her best to attend to my issues. I felt such “commitment” from her is rare and ought to be recognized at work. Throughout the project, Frances was very accommodating and never fails to address my concerns or offer advice how to overcome them. She provides timely updates with photos on the renovation project, giving me a great sense of affirmation and setting my mind at great ease. When there are “hiccups” where certain renovation works or installation works was not done correctly by the contractors, she is so prompt to resolve within the shortest time frame. Sometimes, I even feel bad if I was stressing her out. (This gotta check with her LOL, I hoped I didn’t). No issues/problems raised to Frances was “not solvable”. She manages to provide professional solutions almost every time. I personally felt that Frances is not just carrying her out her duties as an ID of Charlotte’s Carpentry, it is evident that there are also love, passion, commitment. Although indeed the overall project cost was on the high side, but is also the peace of mind on renovating your home. So is still worth investing on a reliable vendor. When renovations started, he was responsive despite many projects going on and handled coordination of the different contractors well. I believe Charlotte’s Carpentry does not discriminate on your renovation budget because all the other companies I wrote to did not respond after telling them I needed to renovate my newly TOP-ed 2-room apartment. Edwin was assigned to me and at the first meeting, I could totally vibe with him. I believed the connection between the ID and client is important - and that was why I was more than happy to work with Edwin. With the ideas I had in my head, Edwin managed to conceptualise and brought them to life. No renovation was all smooth but Edwin kept communication line open and updated any hurdles or delays. We followed our gut feeling after our interaction with our ID (Raymond Teng) and the budget he promised to deliver. Review for Edwin Lee from Charlotte’s Carpentry: Edwin is a young ID who possesses good attitude and work ethics. For context, we engaged Edwin to help us renovate our 4-room BTO back in February 2023 after approaching a few others. The renovation works were relatively extensive as we decided to knock down almost all the existing walls and construct new partition walls to flush the usual nooks and crannies found in modern day BTOs. We also overlaid the entire place with vinyl flooring and renovated both bathrooms. Basically, after our renovations, nothing was left in its original BTO state. Accordingly, we believe that we are in a good position to provide a comprehensive assessment of Edwin’s abilities. The actual renovations took about 3 months in total. From the time we engaged Edwin, he was always patient with us. He provided us with design inputs along the way but was never forceful with his recommendations. Homeowners who prefer IDs with a light touch will find Edwin a joy to work with. In terms of work ethics, Edwin was always contactable and would reply to our queries even during weekends. Overall, we don’t recall having to chase him on anything. He is also a generally responsible and meticulous and we were pleasantly surprised that he is able to remember all of our instructions on what needs to be adjusted no matter how minor that instruction may be. He is also very hands-on and helped us address minor paint and silicon defects on his own. At the time of penning this review, my husband and I have moved in for almost 3 months and we are very satisfied with the results. Our family and friends also told us that the house is nicely renovated. We will not resort to hyperbole and say that Edwin is the best young ID in Singapore but for the price we paid, we are delighted with the results.

We’re glad that we engaged Raymond Teng from Charlotte's Carpentry for our home renovation. We've talked to a few IDs and Raymond was shortlisted during our first meeting. From the initial layout planning, we see how organized Raymond is with decent ideas for every corner of our home. I am writing this to express our satisfaction for services provided by Raymond. Our 5 room resale HDB renovation works started in Aug 2021 & was completed in Nov 2021. Having read stories of contractors or designers “from hell” & how renovations were delayed during the pandemic, we were glad that we have found one trustworthy ID whom delivered quality works within schedule & provide regular photo/video updates on the renovation works. Renovation works are not 100% perfect but Raymond was prompt in rectifying minor defects post renovation. 2 years warranty was also provided by the company for any defects in workmanship of the renovation works. Highly recommended ID for your renovation needs! (We owe Raymond this review since our reno was completed almost 2 years ago & I think he definitely deserves this good review as he was still prompt in answering & arranging for the relevant parties to do minor rectifications up to date which was remarkable!) We met up with approx 5 IDs before deciding on Raymond to do up the renovation for our newly purchased resale 4BR condo. Raymond is very patient with us, especially when we bombard him with so many questions as it’s our first time engaging IDs. We really love how he was able translate our ideas and budget into a realistic plan. He is very accommodating to our schedule for meetups. During meetings, he always ensured that we understand every aspect of the proposal, even if required him to keep repeating himself. He is very meticulous and addressed the smallest issues we have promptly. Despite the various restrictions in placed due to the pandemic and the tight deadline we have given him, Raymond ensured the smooth flow in designing process/ discussion and the actual renovation. Every part of the the renovation process is well-communicated to us, he also update us closely on the renovation works with videos and photos. One for the many instances we were grateful for his help: We engaged a family’s friend to do floor polishing at the end of the renovation stage (just a week before we moved in), but the team was placed under quarantine order and they were not able to fulfil the job. Thank god for Raymond, he was able to get his team to come down the next day I told him about the sticky situation we were in. Even after moving in, Raymond also checked in with us on the works, ensured that everything is working well and up to standard. Despite a few tiny hip-cups throughout the entire renovation journey, Raymond is very transparent to us and he resolves the issues promptly. We are very impressed by the wide selection their company offered, and of course with Raymond’s excellent design sense, we were very pleased with the completed look of our new home! We highly recommend Raymond Teng, and would totally engage him again for our further home(s)!

I contracted Raymond Teng from Charlotte’s Carpentry for the renovation of my Punggol 5 Room BTO in 2021 to my utter satisfaction. The whole process had been smooth, pleasant and quite transparent. Furthermore, the outcome of the renovation was very close to the final 3D renderings provided, within the agreed budget and quality of the works done were impressive – there were no major defects or unpleasant surprises at the time of completion. Prior to working with Raymond and his team, I had sourced for 5 other renovation quotes and what made Raymond’s proposal stand out was that he managed to actualize my ideas within my initial stipulated budget. Furthermore, he was able to sketch and illustrate a detailed design plan of ideas on the first meeting itself without the typical wait of 2-3 weeks from other IDs. I was sold by these 2 factors alone. Like most first time home owners, we had a finite budget so I was impressed with Raymond’s experience in the use of various building materials and his expertise in the use of lighting accents throughout the house to achieve the desired vibes. Raymond was also an excellent coordinator during the course of the renovation. I liked that he was transparent and timely in informing my wife and I of hiccups or issues that arose and he was always ready with alternatives and solutions. He was also very accommodating to our last-minute requests and changes in ideas. Furthermore, despite logistical challenges posed by Covid, Raymond was “on the ball” with the renovation process and minimized delays by actively rearranging work schedules of his team of workers/contractors. Overall, Raymond’s can-do attitude coupled with the strong team of in-house staff and resources from Charlotte’s Carpentry helped make our first home renovation experience a smooth and very pleasant one. I would recommend anyone to meet with him prior to shortlisting an ID in your reno journey.

Based on her scheduled timeline, our reno is supposed to end around end June however our reno was completed somewhere around the end of May. Karen was able to provide useful suggestions to better plan for space in our small kitchen. We read several reviews of Ginny online, including her excellent project management skills and were sold! Further, the quotation from Charlotte's Carpentry was fairly competitive, and less than our initial renovation budget. Always the consummate professional, Ginny is a pleasure to work with. She is responsive (even on weekends or late at night), attentive and does what she can to make sure that our requests are taken into. She is a highly experienced interior designer, knows what works and what doesn’t, and understands our needs and the ideas. This was very helpful for my husband and I, especially since this was our first renovation. Given Ginny’s experience, my husband and I were more than happy to let Ginny make most of the decisions for us, e.g. tiles, laminate colour, type of shelving. Ginny was also assisted by Vicky, who is fairly new to Charlotte’s Carpentry. Vicky is enthusiastic and eager to learn. Like Ginny, she is also very responsive and even went the extra mile to help us test our heater after we commented that it did not seem to be working. Our renovation process was fairly smooth and went according to the work schedule provided by Ginny, with no delays. Overall, we are very happy with the service rendered by Ginny and Vicky, and have recommended them to our friends and family who are looking at renovating their place. We have heard some horror stories from friends with regard to their renovation journey and are so grateful that we do not have such stories to share. Thank you Ginny and Vicky!

ID: Yang Horng Working with Yang Horng has been nothing but a great experience throughout our renovation experience. Able to guide us to the dream house that we have been wanting since we gotten our keys. Being creative and at the same time being realistic and providing us the pros and cons of the design we wanted. Expected to do the handover in 3 months time but Yang Horng was ahead of schedule and we move into our house 1 month ahead! Overall great experience with Yang Horng, as he was very experience and able to advise us immediately on the dos and donts. Recommend to those first time renovation and sure that Yang Horng will be able to follow through.

I engaged Charlotte's Carpentry to do the renovation works for my 4-room HDB flat, and the overall experience has been a great one. From enquiry, to the renovation works and post-renovation support - Charlotte's Carpentry has not disappointed. My interior designer was very efficient in getting the works done, and was timely in his updates. He was also helpful in providing suggested shops to get matching furniture for my new home. In terms of post-renovation support, Charlotte's Carpentry has followed up on my requests for rectification of works responsibly.
