We engaged the Designers by Ban Yew to renovate our entire 3 storey inter-terrace house, which started in early August of 2022 and completed about 4 months later. This included the re-tiling of floors throughout the house, sanding of the existing parquet flooring, hacking and erecting of multiple walls, replacement of all cabinetry and fixtures, and the upgrading of our electrical wiring and water piping. Needless to say, it was a fairly extensive renovation. Unlike larger interior design firms that quoted us a high price (astronomical in some cases), the Designers by Ban Yew offered their services at a reasonable cost. Importantly, the lead designers Stanley and Katyani were highly affable and attentive during the initial planning and negotiation process, which ultimately gave us confidence to go with Ban Yew for our house renovation. Throughout the renovation process, both Stanley and Katyani would provide timely and detailed updates, offering viable solutions to unforeseen issues that occasionally came up as the work was carried out. They were always accommodating, and did their utmost to satisfy our requests through creative approaches and sheer hard work. I have no doubt that the duo will in time develop into highly accomplished and widely sought after interior designers. Shane and Daniel, who are part of the senior management at Ban Yew, came by often to ensure that the renovation works proceeded smoothly. Their active participation certainly facilitated the timely completion of the project. Overall, we are very satisfied with the Designers by Ban Yew and heartily recommend them as a go to choice for house renovation projects.

Firstly, thank you very much to team Ban Yew & Katyani. They were my last minute choice and fitted my budget. Thank God i choose them. Other famous ID company quoted sky high price and was ‘typical salesman’. One of them even give me a draft from their ‘old template’ with nothing i requested. I had also heard many horror stories of renovation with their contractors and ID. Of course no renovation is without problem but mine was mostly smooth…. With vague ideas in mind, i made them change the lighting position 3-4 times. Katyani listened to what i wanted, was patient and responsive. She proposed solutions and even went to the extra extra extra mile to check out and research on not just the design but also functionality and safety issues. 1 of the socket was fixed by the worker at an odd place but she requested them to change them for safety reason without me complaining. Lastly, Of course it is the home owner’s final responsibility to check through before handover - i missed out some defect and workmanship issue which was resolved quickly by the whole team within the same week. Source many company with ideas for my house renovation, but decided to go with Ban yew interior design. The young and passionate designer Stanley and co gave my HDB house a transformation into condo feel. Exchanged useful feedbacks in changing the design and practical use of the cabinets. In planning progress, He gives a schedule and really follow up with the schedule and takes effort in pushing for things. As a stay home owner, the renovation was smooth and bearable. Overall, I would like to thank Stanley and Ban yew Interior and would definitely recommend to others.

We engaged Ban Yew as a carpenter (not ID) for built-in cabinetry in our bedrooms and our TV console. There were a fair bit of hiccups in communication, but eventually, the workmanship was pretty decent, at reasonable prices.

Would recommend if you have a design in mind and they have work the magic with practically. The project manager (katyani) is responsive and updates are constantly provided to us regarding the current progress etc and she really takes effort in pushing for things. Hacking, carpentry and tiler team are really nice bunch of workers as well!
