I had the pleasure of working with Mr Alan for the renovation of my flat and I couldn't be more happy with the results. The FY Studio demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout the project. They ensured that the renovation stayed on track and complete on time. Very happy with the renovation work Alan has done to my place. From the start, it was clear that Alan was focused on ensuring the fundamental parts of the house were taken care of (e.g. leakages, cracks, etc) and I appreciated that he was very upfront about cost - for instance, on the per unit cost of items, whether additional requests would cause us to go over budget, etc. Had spoken to a few IDs prior and can confirm that the costs quoted are transparent (i.e. no hidden costs, reasonable pricing). Was also very impressed that Alan managed to complete the renovation within our ideal timeline, which was about 3 months, at the end of 2022 so there was a lot of work done within the holiday period. Not to mention that this was for a landed house, and the rainy weather probably made things a little difficult. Trust this was only possible with great project management - we were kept informed of the different streams of work that were happening concurrently, and contractors engaged worked efficiently too. We had several last-minute requests which Alan managed very well, whether we ended up going ahead with them or not. He was clear in explaining what would be feasible for the house at each point of the renovation, and has always been fast and effective in his communication - again think this is remarkable given that the renovation work happened during the 2022 EOY period. Finally, the finishing of the work done is great. It's been about a year since my family moved in and we have not had many problems. Even if we have faced any trouble, it's not anything that would require a major rework because the fundamentals of the house have been settled from the beginning. Would highly recommend FY Studio to those looking for a renovation that adds to the overall lifespan and livability of homes!
