We were looking for a Bahasa Indonesia tutor for our 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son when we chanced upon LIA through a Google search. We liked that they were able to do online classes which was great during the pandemic. The school has a great structured program that is child-friendly and both my children look forward to their weekly class with Ibu Sinta. Ibu Sinta is engaging, patient and great with kids. Through a mix of structured exercises, simple songs and stories, my children are enjoying their Bahasa lessons and learning the language in a fun manner.

The team is passionate not just on teaching the Indonesian language but also on sharing the Indonesian culture. They make great efforts to engage even after lesson hours and are kind and helpful in offering their assistance beyond expectations. Adding on to what Kim has written in his review.. Terima kasih banyak Guru Catherine for fostering a love of Bahasa Indonesia to me. I went in knowing close to nothing (i.e.: kosong) about even common Malay words that are often-used in Singapore, but Guru Catherine made it so easy and relatable to me such that I am interested to continue finding out more. I also like it that unlike other language schools, LIA has the mid-term and end-of-term test that helps us revise and memorize what we have learnt. I will be continuing to learn Bahasa Indonesia under LIA, albeit with a different Guru due to a change in my schedules, and hope the experience is just as fantastic!
