I highly recommend Stanford Language Centre if you want to take up Vietnamese class! Giáo Viên Jenny has such a unique teaching style that makes each lesson engaging and memorable. She incorporates a lot of role-playing and interactive activities, like forming sentences on the spot, which really helps us practice and apply what we’re learning. I also appreciate how she constantly refers back to previous lessons to connect the topics, making everything feel cohesive and reinforcing our understanding. Overall, her creative approach and dedication to helping us improve make this class truly stand out! Cảm ơn Jenny.

I've sought out teacher Jenny based on the reviews I read on here and after completing the basic courses, I will say they are all accurate. The sheer commitment, energy and passion she has in teaching us really helped me pick up the basics of Vietnamese quickly. The regular roleplay and practice in class certainly helped, as I can tell from the positive feedback of Vietnamese people whom I have spoken to, using what I have learned.

Currently studying Level 2 Vietnamese. Reasons why I chose Stanford : 1. Course fee is very competitive and affordable as compared to other language centres 2. Teacher Jenny is straight up passionate about teaching and teaches both Northern and Southern accents for a more holistic view of the language. Each lesson is meticulously planned for us to learn new vocabulary, grammar and confidence through roleplaying. 3. The classroom is conveniently located beside Funan for easy access by public transport. 4. Customer service is fast to reply compared to other centres that I've tried to communicate with.

Jenny is an exceptional Vietnamese teacher who is probably the most creative and dedicated teacher I have ever encountered. I went to many centers to study vietnamese but have never seen any teacher who genuinely loves teaching and is so passionate in what she does. The effort she put in her classes is tremendous because she prepares all these pictures and cards to help us visualize and learn better. I think it’s really rare to be taught by someone who genuinely wants students to improve and also to love what they are learning. Stanford centre is really lucky to have teacher Jenny.

I just wish to thank Cô giáo Jenny for her patience and dedication for teaching Vietnamese to me. Throughout the courses (I've taken several under her) she has tailored the lessons to my learning needs and went out of her way to ensure I fully understand the lessons, to the point of answering my questions even outside of class. Great place to learn basic conversational Vietnamese! Highly recommended. Teacher Jenny makes the class very lively with her interactive way of teaching. She gives real life examples on how to speak Vietnamese similar to local Vietnamese. The class has definitely enjoyed the lessons and you would definitely to :)

I have attended Vietnam Basic 1 class at the centre. Very fortunate to have Miss Jenny as our lecturer. Can feel that she is very passionate about teaching. She bring her own props to teach which i seldom see in other courses that i have attended. Learning was a breeze with Stanford Language Centre. Staff was very friendly and patient. Always ready to assist with my queries and ensured my hectic schedule could make it for the classes enrolled. I've attended 3 classes here, signing up for 4th. Great place to learn Mandarin. Value for money. They use same quality material like other Chinese courses. They focus on listening/speaking instead of reading/writing, which makes it very useful and fun.

Highly can reckon the half private Mandarin class. Finished 3 courses. You don't learn only a language also so much about the culture here in Singapore and China. I would have loved to continue but I'm relocating. Xièxie!

I have learned 2 textbooks for beginners to learn Vietnamese language from teacher Jenny. She is a good teacher, because she taught us how to use words very practically through many images as well as about the beautiful culture, country and people of Vietnam. It is a good place to start your Vietnamese learning journey!(:
