I like the small class format, and the option to attend class in-person while allowing online attendance according to personal circumstances. The teacher is able to allow us to learn Vietnamese pronunciation carefully which is what I lack and appreciate very much. He is able to correct tones and pronunciation well, and I find this important as Vietnamese pronunciation is probably the toughest compared to its grammar. William is patient and friendly, and puts students at ease. This makes the class less stressful and more fun.

Excellent admin/support email services. Always get a reply in super quick time. Vietnamese Lessons with Kristal has been amazing. She is very fluent in English and Chinese too, which makes the translation of Vietnamese easier as she can easily explain in two languages! Thanks!

Very experienced language teacher who guided us beginners with patience. Course materials were very detailed and helpful as well.

I spent a lot of time to looking for quality Vietnamese language courses in Singapore (had tried previously with arrangements set up by certain online schools, which weren't great) and finally found and enrolled in an intensive beginner class at the Vietnamese Explorer Language School. It has been a great learning experience and exactly what I needed to supplement my own learning at home. The school provides in-class and online options, and the teacher provides links to recordings after every lesson, so you can revise or catch up (if you miss a class), as required. The class materials are also provided in hard copy and electronically. The school and teacher also cater to requests for learning the Northern and/or Southern Vietnamese dialects, which I found very useful given the differences in usage. Kristal, my current teacher, is excellent. She is very patient, and her language teaching skills and acumen come through in how she conducts the class. After each two-hour session, I am surprised how quickly time passes, which is a very good sign and exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended.
