We’ve been with Writers’ guilt since my daughter was in Primary 5 and Primary 6. The writing classes are super fun and engaging, which made learning enjoyable for her. She not only made huge improvements in her writing but also fell in love with English composition! she’s will be in Secondary 2 next year, we noticed a slight dip in her English skills and decided to rejoin the centre to help her regain her momentum. We’re confident this centre will help her improve once again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to develop a strong foundation in writing and English

Both my children attend the writing classes at AMK Hub with Teaxher Wayne and Natashya. I like that Writers Guild has a 4-week cycle for each topic. It is skill focused and gives students structured time to write the composition and feedback for each essay is detailed and individualised. My children look forward to the lessons as they are fun and engaging.

Janelle being an avid reader has a strong language foundation but no good writing skills. She came to Writer’ Guild (Northpoint) in Jan 2022, and has enjoyed every lesson. She said it was always fun! With the guidance from Teacher Sylvia, her composition marks improved from 27 (SA1)to 32(prelim). Teacher Sylvia was always encouraging and used “esteem building” words, Janelle gained more confidence in her writing and was ready to handle any topic with the techniques taught to her, and eventually she scored AL1 for PSLE 2022. We are thankful to Writers’ Guild for helping Janelle achieved the good result and the complimentary online lessons she had before the exam!

At the end of last year, we were looking for expert tuition for writing composition as our son was struggling with it in P5. We came across Writers Guild in Northpoint and consulted with a teacher on their method of teaching. After enrolment, my son was assigned to Teacher Joshua. We find him to be a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher. We are impressed by the warmth and attention given. He would go beyond the class time and gave constructive feedback to help our son. He was responsive to our queries and concerns. We are also thankful to get a call from him a couple of days before the PSLE on how we can help our son in his final preparations. Thankfully, all went well. We recommend Teacher Joshua to students who need help with their composition.

I was very skeptical at first, since we can only attend the online lesson but gave it a try nevertheless. My son, Sky, started joining WG's writing lesson only in P5, but in the span of a few months, his compo skills have improved tremendously. Teacher Jing Ling's lessons are very engaging and lively that I sometimes heard my son giggling during the lessons. His EL teacher in school also commented that she was very pleased to see Sky's improvement. Most tuition teachers I know of don't take initiative to provide feedback unless the parents ask, but I really appreciate that teacher Jing Ling called from time to time to report about my son's progress, both positive and negative. She clearly has all her students' best interests in heart, from the way she spoke about my son, the compliments and concerns. My sincere thank you to teacher Jing Ling!

I am so glad that I sent my daughter to Writers Guild after reading great reviews about this place. When my daughter is primary three, her compo level was at primary one so I knew I have to switch her tuition elsewhere. When she first joined Writers Guild, she was really happy with the class and she could even remember what she learn in the class. The best part about Teacher Natasya's class is her detailed marking, allowing parents to use her marking to better guide their children at home. After class, she will always provide an update of what has been covered during lesson and what the child has to work on. The high level of dedication is refreshing and helpful for both students and parents. I hope to maintain this level of communication. Jeslynne was struggling in Paper2 - Comprehension part whereas she always lost in the story and couldn’t give the suitable answers and ended up losing lots of mark on the comprehension part. Jeslynne was attending Teacher Dee’s P6 English class (WG Yishun Mall) since Jan 2022 and slowly but sure she showed improvement on how to deal with comprehension cloze and/or open-ended questions. She learned the Techniques for answering comprehension cloze, S & T and comprehension open-ended. In addition, she also has a better understanding on grammar structures and reduced her grammatical errors.
