Reviews of Taman Jurong Market & Food Centre
Atmosphere is crowded during lunch time due to nearby factory. The building was old, numbers of areas need refurbish. Mostly half of the kiosk been closed, and some has their loyal customers with long queue. While ground floor market has few kiosks still kept going.
Singaporean hawker center. Variety of food & drink offerings spread out over at least two floors. Indian, Chinese & other delicacies. Simple, flavorful, and some of the least expensive food to be had in Singapore!
Many of the vendors only accept cash, so come prepared. Communal & family-style seating. Bus your own table or risk a hefty fine.
There is a lot of variety of food in this hawker centre and you can actually not go wrong with most of them. This bcm is def the best there is~
A good variety of food, bar chor mee, kway chap, ngoh heang all surprisingly good. Maybe because high ceiling, the food centre wasn’t very hot at around 10:30am. The only minus point is I didn’t manage to get a cup of nice kopi for my breakfast. Heard their curry fish head is good, will visit again during lunch time just for that ..
Morning breakfast here, porridge, prata and teh-o.
Enjoying is cooling except for smokers cigarettes smell which is irritating. Thought that government ban smoking at coffee shop and hawker centre? Not against them, but it will be good to place them totally out of a good environment.
This morning, went up to 3rd level hawker centre, send to have some good food to try.
Huge varieties of food under one roof. There are 2 storeys of hawker food stalls. The more popular ones are 58 Bak Cho mee, mee, Woodland BBQ sting rays, Lo mee, Teochew porridge.
Good food options. Better known are lor mee, fish ball noodle, yong Tau foo and a few others.
Stalls are spread over 2 floors, so might discourage you to order if your group sat on a different floor.
Easy parking and access to a large variety of eating stalls. But we went for the best Fish head curry stall. Simply delicious. You must try it with fried rice.
On the ground floor is the wet market.
Muslim food stuff are available on the 2nd floor . Sikkander offer good / affordable briyani
Other food stalls (Chinese) are on the 3rd floor.
Many stalls are not open on Tuesday.
Can watch bird fighting for the food left over on table if no people sit there.
Average price of food and beverage is cheap. Still able to get 80 cent kopi siu dai.
I tried out Yusmar Aneka Selera at level 2.
I ordered a nasi padang with assam sotong, sambal goreng and sayur lodeh at 5.00(price@2023). The price is slightly cheaper compared to an average padang stall for 3 items.
The flavours are not the fantastic one, but averagely nice.
Nice modern foodcourt, it’s upstairs above the Wet market across from the community centre. great for a smoker/drinker. Smoking area just in the opening there. Also sufficient space for people to sit and eat if don’t like smokers. Food price is Low and quality I would say slightly above average what ever you get
Had curry chicken clay pot style at the 2nd level near the side/corner stairs. Nice uncle and auntie, the fragrance of the curry chicken is so-so appetizing. Thickness of curry is level to those brewed over long hours. $5 for curry chicken that can be shared with 2 adults. Rice is $0.5 per bowl.
They also serve herbal Bak kut Teh.
Cleaners are prompt and there arent many seats stained with bird droppings.
Was at Taman Jurong food center last week, on a weekday evening. We normally head to the 3rd floor for Zhi Cha but that day we decided to give "Chng Keep" on the 2nd floor a try. Fishtail curry, prawn paste chicken n 2 rice comes up to $35, slightly more than our usual stall upstairs. But the portions were generous and fish was really fresh. Curry is spicy n very tasty. Chicken was crispy, but unfortunately the seasoning, while good, did not penetrate thru.
Lots of varieties to choose in the evenings. Many zi char stalls. Due to social distancing some tables are closed and patrons actually have to wait till someone else finishes their food before you get a seat. Otherwise it is a pleasant experience. Happy with the quality of food. Reasonable and delicious.
One of the best hawker foods center in Jurong area! The open air environment here is clean and neat, foods are delicious and pricing is reasonable. Hawkers are friendly and cleaning staffs there are very hardworking !
This place is in the middle of apartment complex which is NOTtourist attractions nor any of other entertainment facilities in here. It is difficult to find this place but must have google map and finding service. However this is a very local place for people living in here. It is a little close to Chinese Garden nearest leisure place. There are a few nice stalls like sting ray stoll and bak cho mee place. If you hace plenty of time staying here as well as never visited Chinese Garden, it is worth visiting after or before visiting Chinese Garden.
Introducing one of my favourite stalls at Taman Jurong Food Center - De Ji Hong Kong Soy Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle (得记香港油鸡饭面)! For just $4, you can get a bowl of their Soy Sauce Chicken Noodle that comes with a generous portion of thin egg noodles topped with an entire chicken drumstick! The highlight no doubt is the drumstick - tender and juicy meat with a glistening & flavourful soy-sauce glazed skin. Really must eat with their tangy chilli to bring out the umami flavour of the braising sauce! The egg noodles are also springy with a good bite and do not have an alkaline taste. Bb always can't get enough of their chicken so will dabao back a whole chicken ($14 for a whole chicken, $7 for half - so affordable where to find?!) to share with the family! 🍜🐔🍗⠀

📍 Address: #02-85 Taman Jurong Market & Food Centre, Singapore 618499
Taman Jurong Food Centre has lots of good food, went on a Sunday afternoon and the crowd was okay. The environment was bright and had good ventilation. Also had Sikkander’s Chicken Nasi Briyani, which was super worth it for its price.
Nice place too late for Curry fish head and Bah kut teh but found this shop .. cheap and good but queue for half hour cuz the bro slow cut the ingredients .. so queue moved very slow
I strongly recommend this Hougang Jing Jie Mutton Soup at Taman Jurong Market and Foods centre. #03-156. Best mutton soup around in Jurong area. Herbal soup is nice and not very oily, big portion of meats and meats are tender. Price ranges from $6, 8 & $ 10. Owner is a quiet man, but never stigy to give more meats, he just cuts the meats right in front of you, unlike most of the cooked foods stalls , they cook behind their stalls, you can't see, when you eat there, they give reasonable ingredients or meats. But you da dao, they reduce the portions or give bone with little meat.
I am a mutton soup lover, I must mention that a mutton stall at the top floor of Beauty world Food Centre (Hong Wen Mutton Soup). Once upon a time, I often patronised this stall when the old man was around at that time. The old man would give reasonable meats. But when his son took over, thing had changed. During old man's time, what you see is what you get, it means you see the meat displayed on the big bowl, you would get some of the meat. But when come to his son. What you see is not what you get.
He displays many big stacks of mutton on the bowl where he cooks. But will give you few tinny pieces of meats with bones. Dispite I order $8. I didn't get much meats to eat. For his mutton soup, honestly I must say the soup is fantastic. But you would never get to taste the meat, only get to eat small pieces of.meats and some of the stomach skin and some no value lamb's spare parts.
I would never go back to this stall any more since then. The young man thought all his customers are stupid.
Must try the “fan shu Zhou” porridge stall located at level 2, as well as the famous Lor mee. Affordable and good food, spoilt for choice. One of the coffee shops at level 2 sells coffee brewed by ex Yakun barista
Located beside Taman Jurong shopping centre, this place is surely a heartland gem. First storey is a wet market which operates during the early wee hours of the day till early afternoon. Second and third storey is where great food can be found. You can find food from the good old days to new iteration of common cuisines can be found here.
With two levels of hawker food, there is a Wu Xiang manned by young stall owners, with the high prices of Wu Xiang out there, you will never expect their inexpensive pricing prepared and cooked so well. Their bee hoon is great too. You Tiao & Tau Pok stall manned by an elderly couple, it's not cheap but this cuisine can hardly be found in Singapore so do come and support them.
In Singapore, you will know a food is delicious or affordable when you can see a long queue. There are two stalls and one of it is a hotpot stall manned by one man. For less than $6, you can enjoy a personal hotpot with meat and vegetables. You can to walk around second storey to locate it. The other stall is located at the third storey which is a branch of Woodlands BBQ. Serving dishes like barbecued sambal stingray, sambal sotong and sambal kang kong etc. You will be greeted by an obnoxious auntie to take your order and the wait is long but it will be worth it when you have tasted their food. Do come by to support local hawkers and try all of their cooking.
Bought 1 soy sauce chicken, kway teow and rice from this stall.
The chicken is juicy, tender and flavourful.
Best budget friendly bbq stingray in the West and some say Singapore
Hawker centre with a wide range of choices
Carrot cake on same floor as famous bcm was terrible
Hawker stalls and wet market combo on same building. Ground floor is wet market followed by 2 floors of hawker stalls, not all stalls are opened especially by mid afternoon. Car park on top of building.
Contained 2 wet markets and hawker stalls within estate, built on previously known as 60stalls ground. With its rich heritage, most known stalls of earlier time are in here.
Free WiFi available. Most stalls are quite good and at inexpensive price.
Love the foods here. Quite crowded on weekdays. Parking is always difficult to get at peak hours.
Nice & Convenient market And Hawker Centre..And Have A Wide Variety Of Food's There...
Has some surprisingly good stall like Lor Mee(morning) and BBQ seafood(evening). Worth the visit if you are nearby the area.
Taman Jurong Market & Hawker Centre
A wet market cum hawker centre within same roof. There are several good food stalls. During the day and evening.

There are lots of delicious food at affordable prices here!
This place has many nice hawker food. The minced pork noodle is good. Tried the lor mee as well, is good..
You still can find very cheap drinks here! We had Teh O siu dai (60cent) and kopi ice Kao (80cent) from 南丰咖啡室 at level 2, cheap and tasty. There are varieties of food to choose and easy to get seat here.
Leong Huat fishball stall in the 2nd floor had laksa which i tried for the first time. Generous amount of tau pok for my order of $3.50
Had tried many stalls. So far is Tian lai chai siew rice n 58 bcm. Porridge at 3rd floor also not bad.. rojak good but x. Lor mee ok to me. wu xiang not nice. Bbq sotong at 3rd floor is nice but expensive. Meng kee 2nd floor provides good clay pot, tried liver, pork knuckle n braised pork. The beer is s amongst cheapest in sg
Have tried many stores here but the best has got to be Rong Sheng Fish Head Bee Hoon which is tucked away in an inconspicuous corner of the 3rd floor (beside claypot rice and yongtaufoo). Generous portions for the price as well as flavourful soup. Do yourself a favour by skipping the queues for the other fish soups in front and get this instead.
Went to Tom's Kitchen on the 3rd floor. At $5.50, the chicken chop is very affordable. Wait was not long. The dish was quite tasty; chicken chop was welll cooked, with crispy brown skin, fries well salted and not over fried, cole slaw was light, tangy and slightly sweet - very refreshing. Worth a try or even repeat visits.
Last visit before Covid and sad to find many stalls at this popular food centre closed down with no takers. Glad that this old stall selling ngoh hiang still around but prices have gone up till to inflation.
Nice and affordable food in this hawker center. Must try is the 85 minced pork noodles, Feng Zhen lor mee at level 3. Level 2 will be nam Hong coffee which is affordable and nice. The kopi ice is very milky and smooth. Even nicer than any gourmet coffee at fraction of the price.
My favorite is the "58" BCM on the 2nd floor. Tender pork and liver pieces with crispy pork lard.
Good and lowest price coffee shop at Level 2. And some famous fish soup and Lor Mee for breakfast or lunch. Basically, most of the shops are good 👍.
Very long time never come here 海珍for FISHHEAD Claypot.. Still Very good.
This Chinese fishball noodles open till 1am in the wee morning... The power nasi lemak is next to the hawker centre, the former s-11 coffee shop, taste soso, only for people filling up stomach.
Dinner @ butternut on 2nd floor of Taman Jurong market and hawker ctr was great
Always ate Zhi Char at stall 321 (大兴熟食). 5 dishes only $41 and very big portion and very yummy. Closed from Monday to Wednesday (123)
Actually I tried 2nd floor Indian veg foods and Indian Muslim food only
A few biryani stall here and Malay stall here.
Best Bak Chor Mee in terms of value and pig liver quality! Worth the queue.
One of the nice hawker center that provide nice Lor Mee, 五香, zhichar, grilled seafood, slice fish soup, roast meats and many more selections.
Authentic hawker centre, one of the few with cheap prices and time tested quality. Fun fact- it's supposed to be Singapore's oldest hawker centre!
New modern foodcourt, it’s upstairs above the Wet market across from the community centre. Smoking area just in the opening there. Also sufficient space for people to sit and eat if don’t like smokers. Food prices are low with good quality.
Always here for the bbq stingray and sugarcane with lemon at level 3.
Just did a review on it!

Lots of good food on levels 2 & 3
There are many affordable food choices at this food centre. We had the famous curry fish head, which is more on the sour side (and has some assam taste). It was quite tasty and the price was quite reasonable. Will eat this again.
Good Ngoh Hiang Prawn Cracker for you to try when you are in the neighbourhood. Waiting times is about 15 minutes during peak hours.
Its one of the best and economical food center where there are plenty of options of food.
Notably the Indian food center… Where there are variety of options in economical budget.
On top of that, i would also wanted recommend Raja Tarik, Tea Center. Love the Masala Tea there.
Just that i dont like the uncle in the evening who makes tea, I had observed if he tensed he tells a different rate and he is calm he tells a different rate: and there is no prices for tea displayed.
Nice mookata place named jiakies! Finally a mookata place in taman!
The better of the two bbq stalls, perfect sambal kangkong and grilled prawns
This is one of the best place where can get good and economic food located at Jurong.
Very tasty sea foods, chicken rice and prata with typical fish curry. Awesome task along with nice ambience. Located conveniently near to Taman Jurong CC. Must try.
Fantastic fish soup and lor mee in the west. Crowded weekday lunchtime.
a few stalls are the all time favourite
stew japanese ramen and rice in soup lv3, charsiew rice lv2, pork knuckle rice, charkwayteow, vege bee hoon lv3, hotpot lv 2 and lor mee lv3.
Market is enough to get your everyday stuff, the food center is a good mix of good food for all races
Good place for an early morning kopi and kaya toast set. Location is breezy and cooling. Decent variety of food choices from kway chap to ban mian and other items to your taste.
Try to avoid peak hours to get good seats and parking.
Yesh there halal food & near masjid as syakirin
Lots of good hearty local cuisine to choose from. A lot of stalls open really early for the morning crowd
brings me back to the older days, some good food choices here as well but those close early
Best food best price. As always.
Love the wet market. Fresh vegetables are available after 5pm at two vegetable shops
Good food but self service
Very clean and airy Food Center. Convenient carparking. Many stalls offering excellent choices of dinner. Fish is the speciality of this place.
Though tucked away in quiet Taman Jurong, this double storey hakwer centre packs a punch with stalls that dole out delicious yet affordable food that would leave you and your tummy pleasantly satisfied.
A stall I want to commend is 'Kinta Mani Hotplate BBQ and Seafood' located at #03-144.
It's always been a very reliable stall for BBQ seafood and I'm glad that the standards have been maintained through the years. 👍
Went for a dinner recently and ordered the following for 2 pax
- small BBQ stingray
- small BBQ sotong
- Hotplate tofu
- 2 bowls rice
These only amounted to $34! Now you understand why I say this place is affordable! And the portions aren't stingy for small size and we left with very satisfied tummies and broad smiles. 😋
Newly renovated with bright lighting. Wide variety of foods sold. Only must beware of pigeons flying about. Only visited the food stall areas but not wet market. There is multi purpose car park and provision stalls beside and above the market. Even a community centre beside. Recommended to visit for your daily meals and groceries
Endless amount of yummy good food! Seats is hard to get during peak hour. But worth the wait. :)
The best place to eat over here . Even the President used to sit over here to eat ie before becoming the President
One of my favourite place for dinner.. curry fish head, bbq stingray, herbal soups, western foods, mini steamboats.. etc... however, be prepared for queuing at least 30min during weekend peak hour dinner time.
Many stalls are opened here even at night. Stalls that I would recommend are the Seafood Fish Soup on the second floor and the Western on the third floor. The Fish Ball Noodles on the second and third floor as well.
However, be careful of the Teh Tarik stall uncle on the second floor. He's very rude, so be sure to double confirm your order, otherwise he will accuse you giving him the wrong order. Definitely won't patronize the Teh Tarik stall again.
Overall, good experience at this hawker.
Clean hawker centre. A lot of nice local food and variety. Recommend to go morning because a lot of stall open during day time.
There are a few stalls where the food is quite good, and I am very familiar with the lady boss who buys drinks. She knows what drink I want to order just by looking at her, haha...
Braised noodles, fried chicken noodles, and chicken chop are delicious
There is Shiba Sha on the first floor, and there are many delicious foods on the second and third floors. We recommend the morning market noodles, braised noodles, wonton noodles, stuffed tofu, the evening market barbecue fish stir-fry, mutton soup, etc. The environment is good.
Tried Rice Biryani. Taste very good
The most famous ones are Fengzhen Braised Noodles, Prawn Noodles, 58 Pork Noodles, and Ying Kee Wonton Noodles, all of which are old brands.
Give it a try! 👍
