Reviews of Toa Payoh Palm Spring Market
Newly Renovated Market with Old School Taste
This market has been around for more than 50 years. It has been renewed and refurbished quite a few times. In this iteration, it has produced a few good stalls that caught my attention. The kway chap stall had a long queue even when it was 9pm. The highlight, though, was the steamed fish. They were all freshly prepared and served piping hot. The flesh was soft and succulent, A befitting meal even for the connoisseurs of fish. Strongly recommend to try the fish in this historic town.
21 Apr 2023: Not a big food centre but they have enough good choices for us to choose from.
FRIED BITTER GOURD FISH HEAD...an awesome home cooked meal at reasonable prices. Ordered the bitter gourd fried fish and fried slice beef...generous portion, fresh tender beef and fish and we simply loves the crunchy and bitterness of the bitter gourd. ABC POPIAH is managed by an elderly couple. Each roll is reasonable packed with ingredients and the skin is thin and soft...many would order this as a quick light bite but for some; this is a comfort food.
Visit at 2pm Thursday, it was rather empty and 80% of stalls were not open. Tried the hee hee hee steam seafood, it was good. 18sgd per person.
It closing for 2 months for repairs & renovation from 26 June 2023 to 26 August 2023. I had to rush down for fishball noodle before missing it for 2 months. The ping xiang wanton mee is very good also, too bad i can't queue for both my fav at the same time.
This is a very nice neighborhood market and food centre. The food here is reasonably priced and the quality is good; some stall only. This round I am introducing the popiah stall. This stall is run by a pair of senior and the popiah is nice. Practically every visit to this food centre will never go without the popiah. Is it out of this world? It may not be but it’s nice enough. Try it yourself to experience it.
Bak Kut Teh is nice and quite generous with the pork! Sorry for the bad photo
👍🏻
You can find very good hawker food from kway chap to cantonese zhi char all at reasonable price.
Newly open Fishball Noodle stall. Mee kia's texture are great. Chilli and vinegar potion just nice. Park lard size a bit too small, soften easily. Chilli lack of punch. Overall worth trying.
Good and friendly wanton noodles for breakfast and good and affordable seafood for dinner. can also look for hk food for dinner.
This wanton mee stall at Blk 93 hawker has the best chicken feet mee with the juicy mushroom... yummy! a must try and be sure to come early!
Delicious and reasonable priced cooked food here. The fishhead fried wt black beans is nice - $8 per pkt

My favourite soya chicken noodles is here. Ding Feng Hainanese chicken rice and noodles.
From a nearly run-down hawker centre to a bustling eating place with a good variety of food. Hungry people can depend on a bite to eat anytime of the day.
BLK 93 had those wonderful food under one roof! Especially the tasty 粿汁 and the steam fish from stall 44! Yum 😋
Cheap and good. Come the right timing if not will be crowded.
Curry full of rich spice Indian mayanmar influence. My crave every once a week. Stall closing by 1-2pm
hawker still serve gd food. my favourite lor mee
The kway chap here is teochew style run by a family for 50 years and going strong. First time here today but the food is delicious. Lighter tasting broth, generous portions and a tangy chilli.
Good cheap Malay food like rebus, lontong, soto ayam. All for $2.50. There are 4 Malay owned stalls and 2 Indian stalls selling nasi briyani and roti prata. Overall quite a cosy and inexpensive to have breakfast or lunch.
Love the foods especially in the morning, lontong are cheap and good though, wanton noodles probably the longest queue I've ever seen, the wanton noodle aunty are so kind and super ultra busy, and quite sensible, super quick queues eventhgh the linr were so long. Laksa is awesome and also their famous Lor Mee with crunchy snacks
Very yummy and affordable hawkers centre with lots of yummy foods especially the Kway Chap stall and usually just this stall which is open till late at night,,,
The minced meat porridge, both the version with century egg and the version without century egg, are my go to meals after or during school. They sell affordable, filling, delicious bowls of porridge.
Small food ctr, gd laksa, lor mee, soup prawns noodles, wontan noodles for bfast & lunch. Dner, fried & steamed fish, minced pork and veggies gd value
Though its a bit run dw.But it offers a mixture of local food,Popiahs ,kuey chaps n HK zhi char n new stall ,chicken curry rice.
Always love to visit this place for cheap and delicious local food
Ocean's economical rice stall is popular as was evident by the often long queue during lunch or dinner time.
Market is busy iin the morning. Hawker centre is very crowded in the morning and noon time.Wanton noodle, fish soup and popiah stalls are popular.

There are quite a variety of stalls here or in the neighbouring coffee shops that vie for your space in your stomach, such as the lor mee, wan ton mee, the slow boiled soups or the steam fish...
The sellers are good and delicious
Some stalls too much sugar.
Has some great food there although very small and few stalls. Also mainly for breakfast and lunch
John was good and understand my problem with my back. He did some kind of terephy. This is my first visit and he mentioned that I have to see him again as the blood circulation is not that good.
Newly revamped Hawker is so spacious now. The best is still the wanton mee..
A reasonable priced market n food centre not too crowded.
Many hidden gems in this 80's era hdb corner. From chicken rice, to kuay chap, chicken mushroom noodles, zhi char...

👍👍👍
Good food
It was okay to go there for lunch with my husband today👍It’s just that the place is a bit small and there are a lot of delicious food. Netizens: It’s very convenient to go there for a walk when you have time🫶🫶🫶🙏🙏🙏
It's a small hawker center with easy parking.
Toa Payoh Blk 93 Lane 4 (hawker center - almost 20 stalls) There is a stall in this small hawker center that seems to be open from the afternoon (3-9pm). It is the one in the middle that mainly sells kueh juice and pork. It's a dirty stall with affordable prices. You won't be able to find it anywhere because there is only one stall with a long queue. It seems to be closed on Tuesday, so you have to eat early because if you go late, you may not be able to get the dishes you ordered. 👍
This kueh sauce is delicious. You may try it and consider eating it.
There are not many stalls, the prices are okay, and there are coffee shops to choose from nearby.
There are several stalls where you can eat. Hong Kong stir-fried goods are authentic and affordable.
Laksa $4.50 expensive
