Reviews of Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience - Singapore
Bubble Planet at Singapore Expo offers an enchanting and interactive experience perfect for families. With 11 themed rooms, including highlights like the LED Room, Bubble Ocean, and Selfie Room, this immersive exhibition dazzles with optical illusions, bubble-filled activities, and vibrant photo spots. Designed to engage all senses, it provides a unique escape into a bubble wonderland.
We visited as a family of three, booking tickets online for convenience. The experience was smooth and enjoyable, with minimal crowds making it ideal for young children. Highly recommended for a fun and unforgettable outing with kids!
Amazing experience. Definitely worth the money. Beautiful photos can be taken in every room. The room that stands out the most to me is the one with the ball pit. Where else can you find such a big ball pit for adults to play in? Just be careful to clear your pockets of loose items before heading in the enormous ball pit. Can't imagine what it would be like if you were to drop your keys in them. Ball pit is 1.4m so be careful when bringing children in as it can be difficult even for an adult to stand up in it if you were to lose your balance
Fantastic day out for children with plenty of photo opportunities!
I recommend getting the bundle tickets for Bubble Planet and The Art of the Brick. It's more worth the money, and they are located right next to each other.
Some attractions in Bubble Planet were under maintenance, but it was still a lot of fun. Remember to wear socks for the bubble bath. Adult supervision is required for young children as the pool is quite deep. Note that you’re not allowed to turn back, so take your time before moving forward.
The queue started around 10:40 am for the 11:00 am session. Someone will open the door when it’s time to enter.
My daughter lost her hair band at the big balloons area. So be careful with small items like handphones etc that could drop especially inside ball pit etc.
Tip: Bring some snacks for young children as they might get hungry. For lunch, Changi City Point is a great option nearby.
Awesome, cool experience here at Bubble Planet! My favourite was the Ball Pit, where I sat for several long minutes, feeling it was therapeutic. Beautiful memories and photos created here!
Many, many photo ops, my favourite being the rubber ducky and the silver heart-shaped balloons rooms. You will absolutely love the latter! Chance to take such gorgeous photos!
IMHO, the VR experience for $8 paid onsite was not worth it. Having sat through the VR experience in the Van Gogh exhibition which had a storyline, in comparison, this Bubble Planet had none. We were just sitting through various scenarios which employed bubbles 🫧🫧. Quite underwhelming. My helper reported that she "felt like she was falling" during the VR experience, so that's to note for some peeps.
Also, the No.17 milk tea is very small for the price tag of $4.90. It looked more like it was worth $2.90.
All in all, the Bubble Planet experience generally delivered. You should not miss this if you love to take photos, selfies and wefies!
The balloons were beautiful, and there were lots of them. Besides, there were so many types of balloons, some we had never seen before. The ball pool was amazing, with so many balls that it was very hard to move around. There were many photo spots and Instagrammable angles. Plus, the VR zone was impressive, so it was certainly worth it to go for the VIP pass. We had a lot of fun for more than 1 hour.
I recently visited Bubble Planet at Singapore Expo with my two kids, spending $75 for two kids and two adults. While it was a fun experience for the kids, I feel the place is more tailored for children rather than a family outing.
The main attractions—balloons and a ball pit—were enjoyable for the little ones, but there wasn’t much for adults to do. Charging the same price for parents seems excessive, considering there's not much for them to engage in.
While my kids had a great time, the overall experience felt underwhelming for the price. It lacks variety in activities, making it a one-time visit rather than a repeat destination. If you’re solely looking for a fun spot to entertain your kids for an hour or two, it might be worth considering, but as a family experience, it falls short of expectations.
Fun is always great at thematic experiences like this one.. kudos to the innovation
But the staff attitude sucks especially the ones handling marketing and service.. never seen such rude folks for a long time
My family and I had an enjoyable time at the Bubble Planet. Although the location was a little out of the way, it was not inaccessible by public transport. Recommend to visit the toilet first before going in, else you’d have to exit (toilets are near there) and make one big round just to enter again. F&B are also only sold at the exit.
Be very careful with your phone when you are the big bubble pit with the big human sculpture. Heard some guests lost their phones and had a hard time finding it back. One lucky fella managed to get his phone back but the other guest, not so lucky. Not sure how the recovery of the phone would be like.
Other than that, it was a good experience.
We had a great time at Bubble Planet. Our favourite part of the event was the huge ballon room!
Very fun even for two adults. We connected with our inner childs. Highly recommended! Lots of photo opportunities
Fun and for adult to let those inner child out for a while. Amazing set up. Suitable to bring kids to play and enjoy
$28++ for adult
Damn worthy at least 2-3 hours spend there with your children!
Very fun experience. The kids loved it and some of the rooms are so cool. The bubble pit seemed a little deep but another new experience. Great fun
Another new adventure, having great time here and enjoying.
Kids will love this place for their next adventure.
Amazing experience, very well planned, definitely a good experience for both adults and kids alike
The experience was nice, the only thing we didn't like was the staff. They are not the friendliest staff, especially towards the kids. They were always yelling at the kids for little things, like when the kids didn't know if the photo opportunity area was for one person only, or when the bubble photo booth was broken, he loudly said the kids had to get out immediately. My kids were scared of them.
So fun quite an immersive experience! Would recommend to friends and families with kids! And the Lego exhibition next door is worth checking out too
Not bad. But not cheap too. Similar to Ice-cream museum.
It’s a must-go! All our kids, ages 3-9, absolutely loved everything. And not to mention, the parents had a blast too!
Note: Make sure to have your phone fully charged because you’ll definitely be taking lots of photos!
A special shoutout to the Bubble Planet staff for not throwing away the bag I accidentally left behind yesterday. 10 stars for the overall experience and ambience!
bubble planet was unexpectedly great! My partner and I and our friends with kids had a lot of fun, truly engaging for all ages. We got to feel like kids again!
Really value for money experience
Overall it's an eye opening event
Kids will love it
My kids enjoyed a lot at the bubbles planet. A lot of themes and interesting concepts
This is the second time I went to the experience and it was as fun as when I went for the first time. My favorite rooms are still the balloon rooms and the ball pit room as well as the VR experience. I am hoping that this experience will be a permanent one as it's definitely worth going a number of times.
Great place for toddlers and young kids. My only negative feedback is that the ball pit is a bit too deep for young kids. Even as an adult, I found it a bit hard to move around in it.
I personally think younger children, up until 3 years old, may not be so suited for the experience as I do foresee risk of falling over and not being easily seen by others (balloons are big). So lotsa watchful eye required if younger ones are going. If you’re into instagramable stuffs, definitely the place to go. Good luck with removing extra people in your photos thou. Quite a few items were under maintenance.
We had an enjoyable time with my 3 year old! But families with young children should beware of the ballpit. It's really deep and can be dangerous for young children..there ought to be some warning for little kids or have a shallower area for the kids
Nice and interactive place, with good set up! Good for children
Super immersive experience! Loads of fun and quite a workout in the ball pit
Pretty interesting exhibition, my 10 year old son enjoyed it.
Great for children to run around and play with huge balloons. Ball pit was enourmous and had difficulty walking around it. Dont go if u are scared of balloons.
Exciting rooms, Instagrammable but it's too crowded to take any nice photos. Heavily targeted at kids, not good for dates. Meaningless as well, just for play.
I’m giving 3 stars as I feel the overall experience could have been much better. Especially on the crowd control and safety side.
• Queue System
The queuing system was confusing and poorly managed. There were only two staff members handling the entire crowd on a Sunday.
1. LED Room
This room was fine.
2. Bubble Room
The room was filled with balloons, which was fun, but there was no crowd control. If you're a parent bringing kids, you’ll probably need to hold them tight or carry them. There was a real risk of a stampede since the room was packed with large balloons. The stairs leading out of the room to the next station were unsafe as they were also covered with balloons. My brother-in-law and I had to constantly remove balloons so people could get up the stairs. The staff just stood there, doing nothing except throwing balloons back into the room.
3. Giant Bubble
There wasn’t much to experience here.
4. Selfie Room
It was crowded, and there were no staff present to control the crowd.
5. Infinity Room
A staff member was stationed here to remind people not to touch the light bulbs, which was fine.
6. Balloon Getaway
This was disappointing. Latex smell : Strong.
7. Bubble Bath (Ball Pit)
The ball pit was fun but extremely dangerous. The queue for the ball pit was about 1 meter high, and again, there was no crowd control limiting the number of people inside. It was super difficult to move, and if you lost your balance, it was nearly impossible to get up—you’d literally sink in. I’m not exaggerating; the safety concerns were serious, especially for kids.
8. VR
Don’t bother paying $8 for the VR experience—it was never-ending, pixelated, and boring.
9. Soap Bubble
This was fine.
10. Sketch and Post
This was fine.
Interactive Shop
The merchandise was quite disappointing.
Overall, was it worth it?
-Not really. Will I recommend ? Yes If there is crowd control and more safety measures in place.
Love it alot. The colors are vibrant and the experience is so bubbly . Very cheerful and relaxing.not too crowded so got to enjoy fully
Very fun and jnterative experience, had lots of fun and the ball pits, and it was a real cardio experience trying to move around in the ball pit and took so many nice and pretty photos 🫶
Each room has a different experience and many photo ops. Unique and fun, definitely a must go to if you can :)
It was a spectacular experience. Enjoyed it so much.
Had so much fun at bubble planet. Super kids friendly place.
Great experience for family with young kids!
Wearing your babies will be a better choice as stroller will have to be parked outside
Pretty fun experience. Pricing is on the high side and the whole thing lasts about 1.5 hours max. Highlight is the big ball pit in the middle.
The experience was very magical and the place is very instagrammable! Favourite place was the ball pit near the end. There is also some beverages and food at the end of the experience.
So fun and colourful. Love it! The place makes the adults feel like a child too!
If you're female don't wear a skirt cause there are 2 360degree mirror rooms otherwise it was fun
My daughters so happy in every section
It was a otherworldly splendid great experience altogether with family. And my kids loved every single room explored!
Such a blast to do with the kids. Was a lot of fun.
It is awesome experience! Great place for parents to bring the children to play and learn !
Enjoyed with my kids and had fun
It is fun and interesting for kids.
Hope everyone it.
Very cool experience, great place to take kids and the young at heart. The highlight was the ballpit.
Very fun. Me and my girlfriend especially ploved it.
Some parts are a tad underwhelming and the pool can be difficult for kids to move in.
Lastly reviewers that give 5 star reviews can get a magnet
Good fun but not good value for money. Very expensive and we were done in 25 minutes.
We had loads of fun
A lot of great photo ops, and a lovely date location. The bubble pit is honestly one of the best, love the creativity and interactivity.
Extremely Fun and interactive! Great place for kids and grown ups to bring our thiercinner child!
very good exhibition, kid friendly and staff is helpful in taking pictures
Everything is good, just that my niece gt injured during the first thematic. Hope bubbles planet can do something about it
Super fun for the whole family, especially kids! Highly recommended!
Felt like the cheap version of team lab Tokyo . Overall it's a good experience and to bring kid to spend time here
Bubble planet is really enjoyable, and the staffs are really nice,, the aesthetics are crazy good with super insta worthy pics 😁😁
Great experience for every age.
The various rooms are interesting. Go during non peak periods to avoid queuing for too long.
Very nice experience with the kids. Really enjoyed it
Fun and pretty exhibitions. Well-thought out and organised. Recommend!
It was a fun experience with my kids! A must try!
