Always people talking and making noise during the movies no matter what time you go

It is nearly finishing it's refurbishment and it is a much needed make over much nicer than before with a better selection of shops

Just watched No Time To Die. Safe Distancing means no one sits next to you so it quite reassuring. But keep your masks on. Staff are friendly and try their best to make movie nights enjoyable.

Good price range, could be better ofcourse. Best for quiet date nights to watch movies in absolute comfort. Small theatre to accommodate only a few which makes the experience even better. Have always watched Bond movies in Gold class. Never felt more like a spy 😂

Love the Grand Seats. Great experience. Just that the aircon is too cold. It’s like blowing directly in my face. Making my skin feel dry and uncomfortable. Otherwise, overall not bad.

One of the best cinemas in SG in my humble opinion. Located in Great World City (a mall) at the fringe of town, it does not suffer from the overcrowding of town cinemas but yet provides all the necessities of a great movie experience- from the nearby food centers, neighbourhood coffee shops, in-mall big name restaurants, fast food joints or the prerequisite cafes. Besides offering a wide variety of food options, the cinema boasts some of the most spacious and luxurious auditorium style halls anywhere, despite it being around for the past 18years or so. While it has the premium Hall with the reclining lounge chairs meant for the special movie event; their regular halls would already be impressive for that special date you have- try halls 1 and/or 6 ;) they’re my favourites when I watch here. Playing the same popular movies available in town, GV Great World City offers a decor reminiscent of the retro age of the the silver screen, thick pile carpets underfoot, comfy unobstructed chairs, great sound effects and a fantastic experience.

Typical.movie experience in Singapore. However the gold class lounge is small but the food and service is really good-looking hence the 4 star rating. Below is the menu for your kind reference. Enjoy!!

Tickets don't sell out as fast as other cinemas, perhaps due to lower traffic since there is no MRT station nearby. Seats are less crammed. Toilets are less crowded.

Multiplex houses one of the biggest screen in Singapore, named grand! Enjoy all special effect movies here with rich sound. The mall has usual shopping experience though limited in variety. Speciality restaurants and food court is available.

Still one of our favourite cinemas after all these years. Cinema is located in a nice mall with a good tenant mix. Well maintained in spite of its age. Central location and accesaible to many other city attractions.

Older than most of the GWCs out there but a convenient option for river valley. Usually tickets are available till the very last minute so it’s also a good place to grab tickets at the very last min plan!

Everything is great except the food counter.. I mean you ask for white coffee & most of the times they don’t have milk in the coffee machine 🙄 Plus the coffee lids aren’t closed most of the times which is dangerous... I mean you can end up spilling hot coffee on yourself as you enter the dark cinema hall

The cinema is good and clean, but the food junction is not so good. Only a few stores are worth eating, like the western food, Chinese soup are quite worth and good.

Not too crowded. No ticket counter only self service kiosk which I guess is more the norm nowadays. Seems clean and well maintained.

Saw the closing film of the Singapore International Film Festival, The Truth at Hall 6. Very spacious with lots of leg room at the back row.

The place is very convenient - there are many restaurants and fast food shops on the third floor. There is also a large supermarket on the third floor. There are many shops on the first, second and third floors. There are many clothing stores, bookstores, children's toy stores and a very large electrical appliance store. There is a large supermarket on the third floor. The Dongfeng Fitness Company also provides women with fitness noon dances. There are also midday dance classes in Chinese and English numbers in the children's learning center. Many teachers with advanced education teach them.
