Nice place to watch movies, located in NEX which is a great location. Tickets are easily purchased and the QR code allow access into the theatres. Great range of snacks besides the usual pop corns! Shaw’s Premiere theatre is here too! Relax at the Premiere lounge before going in and enjoy their great selection of food and drinks for the luxury viewing! Toilets for normal screening is huge and clean! Staffs are friendly too!

Actually been going to Golden Village theatres for awhile and wanted to try a new place. I decide to try Shaw at Nex since my daughter who recently had knee surgery had to be on crutches to move around. I was presently surprised that Shaw has the facilities to ease her movements and the theatre was very clean. I had a good time overall but the experience was somewhat lessen however when my elder daughter accidentally drop her chicken bites on the carpet while she was trying to exit out of the seats. I was getting ready to clean it when I heard a rather sarcastic "thank you very much" from the theatre's assistants. I immediately said "so sorry, I will clean it up" that should be the end of the exchange however the lady again utter another "thank you very much huh" to 2x more "so sorry" of mine. It was only when she saw my younger daughter get out of the aisle with crutches that she said "It's ok" WhiIe I understand that it was careless of my elder girl to drop her food, I was going to clean it up and not our intention to dirty the place - I felt the uncalled for "thank you" was unnecessary in the first place. I hope I had mistaken her earlier tone but it has darken my overall feelings of my 1st experience watching a movie with my girls at Shaw.

I want to give a thumbs up👍🏻 for the two young boys(one that's pretty tall and another wear specs) who were on shift at the food counter preparing the popcorns, drinks and calling out queue numbers between 2.30pm to 3pm. Good working attitude,efficient and attentive! Hope the company can give them some recognition! Keep it up!

Great experience watching at shaw premiere and the service from Wayne is always good! Worth mentioning - they provide hot fresh / cooked food. Really good experience!

my most frequently visited theatre, the staff here are always so friendly and nice... i lost my ticket and the staff at the counter reassured me and after a short confirmation via my payment app that the seat belonged to me (around 1 min i am not even joking), he printed another ticket for me... absolutely the best. Thank you so much again!!

Cinema is on 4th floor, access to the mall is via 3rd floor from the carpark. Carpark is terribly designed with sharp corners. Cinema is modern and sleek. If not for the terrible car park i would watch more movies here.

The place is nice and atmosphere is really good. But the promotions are tricky. Every time it's already finished. And when booking online there is an additional fee of 1.50sgd. if you buy tickets at the entrance no additional fee.

Love the Pemiere theatre and lounge. The lounge is a quiet and nice place to chill and wait for the movie. Seats in the theatre are comfortable and spacious, with blankets available for warmth. Definitely recommended for an occasional pamper and enjoyment.

It's unremarkable and as a cornerstone storefront of Nex, lends its presence as a spot for movie-goers. Competing with video streaming services that offers instant gratification, Shaw and other cinemas are fast becoming relics. The popcorn and nachos are just as good as yesteryear, though the drinks are a tad watered down.

Shaw Premier was a very pleasant experience. Really comfortable reclining seats, awesome sound system and food delivered to you. Real food mind you, not just popcorn (which is available). And if it gets too cold, they even provide a small throw to keep you warm. Highly recommended.

Premiere seating was spacious with blankets provided. Snacks & drinks can ne ordered with the vouchers that come with the movie tickets. Silver coloured tickets are impressive. Update : Premiere still worth it for a nice movie with complimentary $8 voucher to get a drink and/or snack to go along.

Great location for a cinema and they are generally fast and efficient at managing peak hour crowd. Great that the cinema has their own toilets inside, which is a shortcoming of many cinemas (having to exit to use the mall toilet). Seats are faux leather, so they are relatively cleaner looking than fabric ones.

Overall: surprised it wasn't crowded at all when I came during weekday evenings. Hall 2: floor is sticky and seats look dated though spacious. Food: ordered the $7 popcorn set online and love the fresh and sweet popcorn Restrooms are readily available and clean. Cinema is slightly hard to find in the mall, it's located on level 4 at a corner

i went to watch pathan at Shaw Nex ... the fast food section staff was AWESOME but the pop corn still had unfried kernels ... almost the whole container .. but the staff was so nice and welcoming.. 3 star because of the popcorn

Abit surprised that shaw theatre increased the price for student price from $6.50 to $7 which idk why. It will be better if the price stays the same since the facilities are literally the same like no changes but one thing i do noticed is that the air con arent as cold as few years ago which i think its great

Fast efficient good environment too

Cinema was cold enough but hotdog was not as nice as compared to other cinema operator. Popcorn and nachos too not as good compared.

Large comfy seats, good selection, and I feel less pricy then GV. Wish they show more art films though. I don't like the online booking fees. The on-site ticketing machines were ok but not perfect. Bit of a renovation going on or something. Seats were large and comfortable.

I went to watch Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom with my friends on 7th June 2018. Cinema was quite clean but there was litter in some of the cup holders. bought my ticket online but if students going there i recommend going there and buy tickets as it would be cheaper than buying online at a price of $6.50.

Nice to Watch movies here. Have lots of choice to eat after a great movies, seating also 👍👍👍. However the theatres corridor got a bit of smell(may be carpet damp...??? etc.. Not so good for people got nose problem.. Hope they can look into this and improve. Overall still will go there for movies. Got vegetarian food at Nex

Would love time out to the big screen any time. Nothing beats the comfort of those cosy arm rests within the cinema, watching a movie with Dolby Surround 7.1. Shaw Theatres @ NEX is definitely a jem for the neighborhood. Toilets are easily accessible. Cinemas are spacious and well kept. Keep those blockbusters coming! Let's go!

Amazing sound system, however, it's a little small compared to Golden Village's so I recommend you sitting at around the B row for your cinematic experience. I wish you a nice movie experience!

Best theater in my opinion. Accidentally purchased the Premier tickets. That's where you pay more for better seating. Haven't looked back since. I tried the premiere seating in Golden Village and there's no comparison. For the SAME PRICE Shaw theater in NEX has recliner leather seats and a button to call for service if you want an extra blanket or snack. GV does not offer any of that and feels like a rip-off compared to Shaw.

When i went last week, i was very shocked by the cleanliness of the place. The floors very very sticky presumbly due to the spillage of soft drinks left unattended to. It make me ponder if cleaners were employed

The new process at the box office where both tix & f&b are paid while collection of f&b is at a different section is rendered counterproductive if there are less staff assembling the orders. The queueS were ridiculously long at collection. Like me, there were others too who opted not to get f&b anymore upon seeing the collection queueS.

One of my regular and favourite cinema. Love the Premier seatings but unfortunately, I have to say that the seats need an overhaul as the springs and foams are coming off which makes it very uncomfortable seating on it.

The cashier refused to sell more than 1 ticket when my friend isn't present so I just went to the kiosk machine otherwise nice place

Not a very good experience compared to the Lido cinemas. Not sure if because of the obscure cinema location or just the general mood of the place. The popcorn also pales in comparison to the Lido ones.

Watched Tamil movie at Hall 8.. Sound system is fine and screen is very small.. Good that Rest room is in the same floor.

I remembered they had early morning shows 9am. The air conditioning is weak. Suspect that the main building air con has not kicked in.

Seats and floors are cleaned well. Sufficiently spacious.

It was so cold that I had to bring long-sleeved clothes when I went. And maybe because it was a weekday afternoon, there were a lot of elderly people and they didn't have many manners, so you have to take that into account... And it wasn't clear whether the movie theater's picture quality was bad or it was too dark. I need to go to other movie theaters and compare.
