Reviews of Sustainable Singapore Gallery
This gallery is located at the Marina Barrage. Admission is free but the, I am sorry to say, the place was quite boring. I thought there will be more information on the barrage itself.
Superb exhibition center for sustainability.
The whole history of the Singapore water supply and into the future is in this facility.
The guides are polite and knowledgable plus friendly with feedback.
The tour easily take about 5/6 hours, if you want to go deep understanding, you can spend three days to learn aboit the water issue in Singapore.
Overall a good place yo visit.

The Singapore Resource Sustainability Exhibition Hall at Marina Barrage allows people to learn about how to create a livable and sustainable beautiful garden city Singapore, and how sustainable development will benefit future generations. Closed on Tuesdays
The Singapore Sustainability Gallery looks at ways to convey the “sustainability” message to raise awareness and maximize community engagement.
Integrating the Marina Barrage, the exhibition hall is designed not as a typical isolated exhibition hall, but as part of a comprehensive experience of the context and buildings. Through materials related to environmental change, the gallery aims to make the community aware of current and future threats to the living environment, while promoting a sustainable lifestyle.
The project design team has conveyed relevant messages into separate spaces in a reasonable manner. The exhibition drawing is designed to be easy to understand and freely navigate, with the integration of specific graphic design and a characteristic “ribbon” element creating a distinctive architectural work, the whole as if narrating a story to the visitor.
In order to amplify these messages to the community, the architects have established a spatial language by combining everyday objects such as PVC pipes, copper pipes, and recycled waste with the aim of encouraging visitors to join hands and contribute to sustainable development. A special sculpture made from recyclable items creates a highlight for Area E called “Journey to Zero Waste”. This work was created with the participation and contributions of local students.
The exhibition hall offers a multi-dimensional experience in which architecture, themes and multimedia are combined to arouse interest, curiosity and especially attract tourists.
There is no Chinese. The explanations and explanations have lost the meaning of the exhibition hall. People who go in to visit are confused. It is a pity. The relevant authorities should improve it so that people can understand what they are introducing when they go in.
Free admission, meaningful place and well explained.
An exciting place where you can relax and enjoy an incredible view of the Singapore skyline. Not to be missed!
A must-visit! Exciting, educational, and inspiring.
