Very experienced staff and provides excellent service. I purchased a spectacle from them more than a year back. Recently, one of the screws for my spectacle frame came loose and could not be tightened regardless of how many times it was turned with a screwdriver. I brought my spectacle in to the shop and explained the issue to them. The staff patiently attempted to find a new screw for my spectacle frame. When they realised they didn't have a suitable screw, they offered to send my spectacle frame back to the manufacturer for further review and possible repair. When my spectacle frame was ready for collection, I was pleasantly surprised that it was replaced with a new one and free of charge! Not only is their after-sales service fantastic, the interaction throughout has also been extremely enjoyable. Would definitely recommend anyone who's looking to make their next pair of glasses!

Been my optometrist of choice since primary school, recently just made another pair of spectacles for my National Service. Seen the same few familiar and friendly faces for over a decade now, and for good reason. Prices are affordable, often being cheaper than franchised optometrists while their products are still of excellent quality and tailored to each and every customer. Despite being a small stall, they still provide a wide range of spectacle frames and contact lenses. However, due to its small size, there may be a need to wait during peak periods but rest assured as it will be worth it. Their customer service is top-notch; you will not be able to get the same type of customer service in franchise optometrist. Not only are they patient and friendly while serving you, they will also go the extra mile and share extra information with you. Their after-sale service is also superb. They have repaired my spectacles free of charge multiple times when they had been damaged within reason. This includes when my frames bended, adjusting the screws when I had difficulty opening and closing my spectacles and adjusting the nose pads to ensure the spectacle sits correctly on my face. In summary, if you have the time to take a short bus ride from the big malls (Lot One & Hillion) between which this store is located in, your trip will be well worth it. They provide excellent products and services at a cheaper price with even better customer service and after-sale services. However, be prepared to wait a while for your turn as the stall can only fit a few customers at a time.

My family's been coming here for years to make our specs here - recently had a pair of specs done a short while ago :) The staff are very friendly, passionate and approachable, and provided me great recommendations for the design. Service is top notch too as they go the extra mile to ensure that the glasses are a good fit when you collect them. Some of my friends introduced me to this shop and I would definitely recommend this shop with 5 stars comments. The staff there are very friendly, and they are really helpful in offering advice according to personal preference. If you have a budget on getting a spectacles, they would try their best to help you with that. For me, they even give me free spectacle hooks after knowing that I am serving in the army and probably need these kinds of stuff. This shop and the staff over there really made my day, I would definitely come back to this place in the future if I have any other issues relating to spectacles.

Chew optics has been established since I was very young. I am been a loyal customer, for almost 10 years. Most of the time purchasing acuvue contact lens from them as their pricing is relatively cheap as compare to other shops.During circuit breaker, I went over to Chew optics with an appointment, they had provided free eyes test, before purchasing my contact lens. On top of that they even provided me with free delivery as they understand during this period of time I am having difficulty to make an appointment again to collect my lens. Indeed, it was a remarkable experience for me.

Got a pair of contact lens at Chew's Optics, people there were friendly and very experienced in what they do. They also taught how to maintain, clean, store and the general do's and dont's of using contact lens. Would recommend this place for anyone who wants to get spectacles and contact lens!

Didn't seem like a good thing but that is how much we continue to trust this shop for its specs value and customer service. Since young, I have been coming here for eye check-ups and changing of spectacles and their service was always top notch. However, I'm feeling quite disappointed and lost after today's visit. Was told by the owner since young "come for routine check-up" Today I went there hoping to get the thorough eye check-up that I always receive. But all the uncle did was ask me to read a line of numbers with my current spectacles. "You can see the numbers? Then okay" that's it. I was stunned and disappointed by the experience. Maybe it is time to try other eyewear shops :(

By far the best shop ever.. I believe this shop has not franchise due to its very cheap price, uncle chew must be charging jus enough for the product, salary, shop rent and daily necessities.. Trust me I patronise their shop almost every 2 mths due to personal matters.. Brand new 6 times a Yr all cuz its extremely affordable.. Thank u uncle chew and not forgetting his amazing sidekick..
