I researched a few shops (including big brands) before I finalised on this one. Value for money for the same specifications. Plus they have a 15% additional discount till 9 Sep. The only downside is you cannot pay with a credit card. Sorry Visa and MasterCard shareholders Overall, definitely worth it.

Been getting my glasses from here for the last 6 years! Great services and quality specs at an affordable price! Once I enquired abt a specs which was sold out in most stores and online, the staff kindly went the extra mile of checking with other stores and even msged me to update on which store has the specs and in what colour. He even offered to have the specs shipped to a convenient store for my viewing.

Tl;dr male staff was of great assistance to me when I went back on 11 July 2022 to double check my new specs prescription. Seating area was great with phone charger and magazines provided. I have been here a few times prior to purchasing my first pair of specs with them and staff has always been helpful. However the vision my new specs (with new prescription taken at foptics) gave has not been that sharp especially on left eye. I went back to check the specs lens and ended up doing another round of eye check. Male staff supposed adjusted the angle tilt in my specs lens slightly so that it would suit my eye more. I guess it worked as it gave me more visual clarity since. Thankful for the rectification 👁👓 Note: love my chosen frame named Cat in Rose gold, it has a lifting effect due to the cat ears 😻🐈

Stumbled upon foptics on Instagram and saw that the prices were extremely affordable, $35.90 for a pair with degrees?? Dropped by the store to check the quality and they're pretty decent for the price! Service was quick and fuss-free despite the Friday night crowd and my specs were ready within 3 working days! I bought mine from their Essentials collection but their Premium collection look pretty good too. Will probably get another pair soon since it's so darn affordable!

Very well organized optical shop in Chinatown, pagoda street... Target for the young generation or anyone that feel young... Selection not as much as the typical optical shops, still there will be something for everyone... n Of cos not for those brand conscious but prices really good for the young generation with a budget... Staffs are friendly too... Just prepare to wait for bout an hour or so for ur eye check... In any case, after the eye check, u change ur mind, b prepare to fork out $20 for the check... I appreciate the help from this store. I got a pair of transient glasses earlier this year from here that cost me around 180 sgd. The service was quick and efficient. I got my glasses on time. You can choose to pick up or deliver. On the day of pickup, they also helped me adjusted the glasses to make sure it fits me well. There was also coupon issued. There are quite a few types of glasses to choose from and I feel the price is competitive in Central area here.

They carry a wide range of glasses and it was super affordable. I did mine for $72 (after 10% discount off) for a blue light + prescription lens with premium frame. Definitely lighter and cheaper than the other glasses I did at mainstream specs shop. Quality seems good too. Everyone was very welcoming and approachable. Went on a weekday after contemplating for awhile saw that they had some promotions ongoing too. Went and told the staff I needed some time to just see and view the different spects, it was good - they did not come and bother me but gave me the space I needed only when I needed to ask anything I approach them and they assisted me. Process was smooth although had some issues at the part where I did my eye check (my astig is abit high). Was not feeling very confident the spectacle may be a good fit initially but to my surprise, after a day of adjustment (as I had change in degree) my eyes was able to adapt well - people also praise the spects is nice. Plus point: I got their 30% off in their special lens (more scratch proof) and only paid $118 instead of $140-150 (i took the hybrid spect). Another plus point: Spects was done by the week on Friday. Decent spects place, go check them out :)

Service there is great as well. Everyone is super easy to talk to from receptionist, eye check up to payment. Absolutely worth going to and doesn't break a bank like typical optical store. I went down yesterday to get myself a pair of specs and the staff had been very considerate and helpful to assist me. I needed to get the specs in a rush and they were very professional in helping me choose my frames and to do the eye test that followed after. Everyone was very courteous and I really enjoyed my time there, I opted for the express collection and the whole timeframe from choosing my specs to eye test to collection took about an hour or so. Edited to add: Customer service here varies a lot. You can get 5 star employees or 1 star employees that just curtly reply to you and ignore you after (one just looked at me and then walked away -- could have at least said please wait a moment). There are others in the area with more consistent service and similar price point. Just manage your expectations and beware of what you might expect. ## Pretty affordable find. Good variety of glasses of various styles at affordable price points, and you also have the option of choosing their house lens or branded ones. I liked that they gave me a certificate of authentication to show it is real cristal lens and actually I never had lenses so clear before that I questioned if my previous optician gave me the real deal. Their online prices seem cheaper than the shop so that is one option for those who want to save more, but being able to try on lenses and convenience of having the staff assist you is worth. Also their customer service is really good and prompt (especially when you compare to the nightmare that is dealing with their competitor L). Foptics customer service actually helps give you solutions and listens to your problems properly. Sometimes it is worth to support local shops and not be sucked in by gimmicks where you actually do pay more (for example foptics home brand lens for my degree starts from 79.90 vs L that is 98 - i paid 126 in the end for cristal) . My only feedback for improvement is to proactive give customers a cost breakdown instead of them asking for it, so it is easier to compare the options.

I was attended by a lively and cheerful young lady by the name of Vivian. Very impressed with her sincere service and I do think it's the most thorough and rigorous eye test I've ever had in my life 😁. Was also very satisfied with my spectacles when I picked it up around 4 days later - it's very light, fits well and feels really comfortable on me; Vivian was also there to help me make any final adjustments and to give me some helpful tips in getting used to my new specs (it's my first pair ever, if you exclude sunglasses). Remember to bring $20 for eyecheck alone. Wanted to buy the glasses online but needed to update my eye check degree came down to the shop. I requested to update the plastic customer card that they gave me when I came before to purchase my previous specs and turns out there's a new policy, now you have to fork out $20 for an eye check with or without purchase of glasses. They glass may seem great for the cost at first but quite fragile so be aware. FYI: My partner lost the card and they stated that even though they have your previous eye check record in their system via phone number that was previously free before the new policy got implemented, you still gotta pay $20. Really.

Wide variety of frames and lenses with transparent and affordable pricing! They offer a free eye test at their premises. I did not have an updated prescription so I booked an appointment, got my free eye check and tried on some frames. I love that purchasing is done online so there is no need to worry about hard-selling. I had a question on one of the products and I sent a whatsapp to them. They replied within one working day. The glasses themselves arrived about 3 working days after I placed the order. They are much cheaper than what I would have paid for at my usual optician. I am introducing Foptics to all my bespectacled friends.

But if you are having children or youngster or somebody who needs no frill frame just for working at home or something that you will not regret if broken or lost, then this the place for you. The frame choice is minimal but this is how they can cut the cost down. Glass wise, same optics quality, slightly better pricing. Service wise, quick and simple. Just come, measure the eyes, pick frame from the simple options available, pay using QR code and payment apps, and they will Ninja ship the glasses in the next 7 days. Less than 30 minutes being spent to order 2 frames, with a good and no fuss services. Getting many frames for me and my childrean already from them with satisfying result.

A bright and colourful space tucked away on the upper floor on a shophouse row, with fantastic staff and a well-priced variety of frames to choose from. Have not collected but have ordered, this one based on my experience in their shop. Pros: Professional, Friendly, Value for money, No hidden fees very professional for the price point! eye testing was super informative and i learnt so much compared to another shop priced at $200.... the uncle answered my questions and tested thoroughly, recommend glasses to fit me and even amended my degree. even learnt how the size of the lenses can affect your peripheral vision. Range of glasses quite alot ranging from usual rectangle glasses to those oppa korean round glasses. Very transparent with pricing too, can make lenses thinner but more ex. just take note if want to go eye testing but not purchase, its $20, if test eye + purchase total is $30+ only. Cons: Slightly long waiting time, Need to initiate as staff are busy Many people are aware of their promotion so even at 7pm on Monday still got around 8 people in shop. Wandered around 10 minutes trying on glasses but nobody attended to me, which was ideal for me since its abit paiseh hehe I like to just try on and only ask when I need help. When approaching staff they are very friendly and helpful, just need to ask only since they are quite busy checking quality and attending to others. Understandable as only 2 staff around. Eye testing need wait around 10-15 min if got customer in front as they are very thorough with checking, so only go for it if you are not in a rush.
