I went though the eye check and Cataract surgery with the help of Dr Clarissa Cheng and the Lumin Team. I was more than happy with the medical care and service provided, The whole process went by smoothly and being my first time going for surgery so I am abit worried and scared. But Dr Clarissa and the Team is very assuring and patient throughout. Strongly recommended this team for any eyes issue

Brought my father here to consult with Dr Don Pek regarding cataract surgery. Dr Pek was very professional. He was exceptionally polite and friendly with excellent bed side manners. Our consultation went smoothly and Dr Pek answered all our questions patiently. In the end, my father decided to do his cataract surgery here. The surgeries (both eyes) went well. The care we experienced by Dr Pek and his staff were outstanding. My father felt safe and reassured at all times - especially given that this was his first surgery in over 70 years! The after-care was also well-arranged and my father is very satisfied with the outcome.

Treated by Dr Don Pek and I must say he's really the best Doc ever! Visited him because of the persistent chalazion on my lower left eyelid which was red, swelling and didn't go away after 2 months even though I have visited many GPs and tried quite a lot of medicines. And in the first session, he explained to me why it was so persistent. The treatment was also more comprehensive, sharing with me how to take care of my eye other than the medicine I've to take and apply. And in 2 sessions, it went really down like a lot after each sessions I went. And now It's almost fully recovered just in time for my wedding 🥹 Big thanks to Dr Don who was very gentle with my eye when squeezing the chalazion as I'm really scared of pain. The staff there are also very caring, making us feel very welcome. The cost is also very reasonable.

Dr Don is one of the best doctors I ever met. My mom walk-in to the clinic on Sat morning due to an emergency high eye pressure (>50) which is very dangerous and she may lost her eye. However she was very unwell/stressed out and reluctant to do the laser treatment as Dr Don recommended. She started to be uncoorporative and defended. However, every second is precious to save her eye. Dr Don was really patient in persuading my mom to do the surgery. And the surgery was really difficult/high risk/under time pressure, but he did it really well! Now my mom’s eye is back to normal. Really appreciation Dr Don for his patience, high integrity and professional skills! He treat patient like his own family, and he is so brave to take on risks in order to save patient’s eye.

My wife required medical treatment as her eyesight deteriorated a few months after the cataract surgery by another doctor. Dr. Clarissa Cheng attended to her eye problem, starting with eye tests in the morning and by late afternoon the secondary cataract surgery was completed! All solved in less than a day. A few weeks ago when my left eye started itching & getting swollen, initially it was only the lower eyelid and the pus inside burst after about a week (but only partially and it was still swollen & a lot of discomfort). Then after another week my upper eyelid went through the same thing and it was really annoying. So I called up Lumin Eye Specilists & Dr Cheng asked me to send a photo to show her, and immediately she told me to come in the following day. She did a very thorough checkup and performed a small procedure on both my upper & lower eyelid, the whole experience was really seamless and meticulous, I could feel a relieve in eye pressure and the condition improves significantly over the next few days. The whole team at Lumin, from receptionist to nurse, specialist & the doctors are SUPER friendly & professional. Love the decor & ambience (warm) of the clinic. Thank you for treating me Team Lumin!

My mum was 1st recommended to Dr Don by her dermatologist, never did we expect Dr Don to drop by the dermatologist clinic and "fetch" us over to his clinic for a review. Never did we feel pressure to see him. In fact, it save us a trip for coming back to Gleneagles Hospital. My mum is not a person who will be compliance for medical review. My mum was so comfortable with Dr Don and his team. The first visit was to review her stye condition which Incision and Drainage was already done by another eye dr at Orchard. However the condition persist hence we decided to seek a 2nd opinion. While checking, Dr Don found that my mum also have cataract. At that point the cataract condition was not severe. Hence he advised us to come back for a review 6 months later. My mum delayed her condition until a year later. She decided she was ready for her cataract surgery. The whole surgery went uneventful. The arrangement was made so easy as compared to other patients in the ward going thru the procedure. My mum do not have to remember when to instill the eye drops for the surgery. She just literally stay there like a "Queen" and the eye drops instructions was all given to the ward nurses to do. The surgery was so fast and well. In less than an hour, my mum was out and about. Post operatively care was so great. The new len was in perfect position. My mum vision on the operated eye was corrected to perfect. She doesn't need any glasses for the operated eye anymore. We will come back to Dr Don again for the other eye which the cataract is not ready to be operated as of now. My mum is a very fussy pot. It is not easy to get a doctor who she have chemistry with. Beside giving thumbs up for Dr Don, must also give acknowledgement to all the clinic staffs. All of them are very friendly. Too bad, did not get their names as they always attend to us like we are friends. They attend to every single patient who enter into the clinic with a positive voice tone which makes you feel so welcome.

Dr Don Pek was one of the most passionate doctor i have ever met, i had a cataract surgery in indonesia and the doctor install the wrong lens in my eyes, it was 5 months of agony, a lot of glare and unbearable. I met Dr Don and its like a God send him to me, he assured me that he can help me and will exchange the lense for me. I got the operation room within 2 days because of his persistence which was suppose to be another 12 days. It has been 1 week now since my surgery and he was very kind and very considerate and constantly check on me daily on the improvement on my eye sight.
