Honest, detailed and professional service always. I have been visiting this place since I was a child (astig & myopia runs in the family genes). Every time we visit, the staff are always polite, friendly and very welcoming. Happy memories when I was a child. I’m still getting my lenses & specs done here even though I’m married & live in Bedok now. My son was diagnosed with astigmatism at age 3. Checks are thorough and specs are done well & fast. A life saver too when my son cracked the lens and we needed urgent replacement. Son is now in primary school. We plan to start ortho k lenses with Alex as there’s no one else I trust my son with. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have young children!

Have been bringing my girl for eye check here as recommended by a friend of mine. Alex has been patient and recommend the suitable lens for my girl. Curently wearing MyoCare by Zeiss which has been working well for the past 1 year. Following up every 6 months. Can easily reach out to him when I've any queries on my girl's eye sight etc. E.g. recently was asking what degree suitable if getting goggles for my girl. Gotten reply quite promptly.

Nothing change, everything still the same; - Friendly and prompt action by Alex - Reasonable Price - Workmanship still on par (Nothing to complain about) - Still giving out free gift (So nice of him) Reviewed on 2020; Been with Ong's Optic for almost 6 years. From my point of view, they are very professional and attentive to my eye's needs. Guidance and advice been given about my eye's health care and condition. On some occasion I will tell Dr. Alex on my budget constraints, he and his team will try their best to accommodate my budget without compromising the quality of the end product. What I like the most is their after sales service, their effort trying to help at their best is really impressed me. Sometime I do see other people trying to take advantage (in a wrong manner I would say) on their after sales service really make me pity them. But nevertheless, my support to them is still there and ongoing. Thanks for everything; as a customer and as a friend.

as a adult. After wearing ortho K lense recommended by Alex. I've no regret. being a active lifestyle person. it helps with no dryness during day time with my contact lense compared to the past. I can swim freely with my eyes open under the water. it makes me less fatigue throughout the day compared wearing contact lenses. i really enjoy glasses free and contact lenses free day time. Alex is a very professional in his work. very patience and understands his products well. very good customer service by him since day 1 till now. I've been with him for 6 years. highly recommend!!!

Had been going there since my secondary school days and now the only optical shop that I will go for my boys eye checks. The second gen owner Alex Ong is professional and provides great advice on how to care for my boys' eyes to delay the progression of myopia or astigmatism. Continue the good service and I believe even my grandchildren can be there for their routine eye checks in another 20 years or so 😉

A concern with my 8yo daughter's increasing myopia led us to consult Dr Alex Ong for solutions in November 2020. Professional, knowledgeable & friendly, Dr Alex gave a comprehensive review of various options & we decided to give Ortho-K a try. Along the way, Dr Alex was available & patient in answering our first-timer questions after office hours (Ortho-K is worn at bedtime). Dr Alex is dedicated about maximising the efficacy of Ortho-K & after the initial reviews he proposed a new pair as replacement for better results. It has been 5mths since we embarked on this journey & he is still troubleshooting with us when hiccups happen. Great customer service & professional advice. Thanks Dr Alex!

Great service and the shop has been around since a long time. Staff are friendly, approachable and gave good advice. Regular customers can order contact lens via WhatsApp and collect the items on another day. Sometimes they provide trial contact lens of other brands for customers to consider and try out as well.
