Reviews of 阿源鱼圆面 Ah Guan Fishball Noodles
Not too bad a fish ball soup . Noodle cooked well however personally preferred chili that is more spiced .
A small coffee shop w few tables . And we had it in a rainy morning . Queue is just right .
Considered worth trying if nearby .
Chance upon this very old school fishball noodle under blk 107 Bukit Merah view. Understand that they stopped operation for a short while before resuming operations recently at this coffeeshop. I was there around late 10ish am, there wasn't any queue and I was able to order upon reaching. The prices of the fishball noodle here starts from SGD$3.50 onwards.
Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of noodle was springy. The sauce has that old school taste to it. My bowl of noodle came with ingredient like fishball, meatball, fish paste dumpling and sliced fishcake. Over here, once you ordered, you can go find your seat and they will served the noodle to you.
Overall, really enjoyed the fishball noodle here and would highly recommend.
Noodles were al-dente and had a nice mix of sauce and vinegar, the fishballs were soft and of excellent texture. The soup was also great with radish chunks inside and the radish taste really shone through the soup. By far the best fishball noodles I have ever had in Singapore.
Ordered Dried version Mee Kia with extra fishball.
My childhood taste .
Chilli is mild and nice, 👍
not those super spicy 🌶️ 🥵 type.
Will come back again 👍
Good bowl of nice FBN and delivered to your table. Seats are limited so avoid peak hours. The fishballs are soft and spongy.
Childhood food. My family has been eating from this stall since my mother was a child. Their fishballs are so bouncy and the meatballs are not the typical ntuc type. My family feels that their pork lard wins all others in Singapore.
Do give it a try and support them. Do go before 11am as they sell out fast.
Quaint old school fish ball noodles close to the 108JBM green corridor access
Overall great dining experience here!
One of the best fishball and soup around.
Average, soup a bit salty
2021-12-03...The sister and brother stall has reopened. The coffee shop located next door to the left (Shanghai Porridge Shop the night before)... Go! 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️
The Fujian 2G siblings run the Teochew fish ball noodle stall, which has an excellent blend of minced chilli/lard and chewy qq noodles cooked to perfection. The side kick soup pairs perfectly with the dry version, full of flavor and natural fishball taste. Excellent value for money and great value for money. praise! praise! praise!!!
