This Hakka thunder tea rice slightly different from the traditional one. Nevertheless I give it a high recommendation. I ordered the item number one which comes with goji leaves, long bean, fried tofu stuffed with minced pork, top with seaweed garnish and mayo. It's a great balance of fiber, protein and carb. The stall accept CDC vouchers payment.

Hakka tofu bowl ($6). Generous portion, tofu was nicely cooked and the touch of mayo added flavour to the dish. I’ve also tried the same thing at tanjong pagar branch and i’m impressed by the consistent quality across the different branches. Do give it a try!

A modern take on Lei Cha or Thunder Tea Rice. It comes with a squirt of mayo which somehow goes really well when all mixed together. The pieces of tofu/fried minced meat is really tasty as well! The soup on the other hand, is an acquired taste 😂 read that it’s very nutritious though. Although there may not be a queue at the stall, be prepared to wait!

Love this fusion style Lei Cha! 💚 The very first time we tried their food, I accidentally dropped my meatball so my husband hurriedly bought extra serving of meatballs. Out of goodwill, the store owner gave us an extra 1 piece FOC like she knows I dropped it 😭. I was really touched by the owner's thoughtful gesture coz I already ate halfway and knew I love their tofu bowl, and really felt bad when I dropped a meatball. 💚

I love the tofu bowl so much! The light mayo sauce matches well with rice and the dishes. Always eat this when I am there.

One of the best hakka 雷茶 I've tasted. Uniquely different from conventional hakka taufu. But I still prefer without dipping the sauce. Would definitely visit it again. A bit pricey but ingredients are pretty good. Expect longer than usual wait as preparation for the numerous items take a bit of time.

Freshly made everyday. Not the typical Thunder Tea Rice, this modern twist is surprisingly delightful. Do order their soup (which I didn't), it is very nourishing too.

Very interesting take on the traditional lei cha rice. Everything from the creamy short grain rice to the crispy pork balls was amazing! I couldn't help myself but congratulate the two ladies behind this creation.

Excellent comfort food! Crowd seems a bit thin on a Friday afternoon, hope the stall survives because it is SO GOOD. Will definitely be back!
