Reviews of BROTHERS ROJAK (兄弟)
Had $4 Rojak + $1.40 century egg on 20/5/24, was extremely good. I've been patronising them for many years. Slightly on the sweeter note.
5 star for the Uncle. He is friendly and polite. The rojak look and taste fresh . The stuffed Tau-Pok also fresh vegetables inside. Recommended!!!..But sauce wise is rather too sweet for my liking..Next time will ask less sweet maybe?!..Thank You Uncle for your Sincere service!!.
There is always a queue for them, and it's all because of the delicious sauce they concocted. Another plus point is the friendly and smiling brothers who always do a little jig when they are stirring the rojak.
It's a bit sweeter than others though but still fine with me. Best eaten on the spot but you can request that they separate the gravy first so you can bring it home and give the fritters and cuttlefish a quick toast in the oven. Magic!
Probably the best rojak i ever taste (always has people queuing, so no need further discussion on the taste)... Usually the older brother working alone and he make better rojak compared to the younger one... Uncle also friendly and will tell you whether he still have enough ingredients to make your order or not (better luck if u come around 7.30pm, usually he stop taking order around this time)... After renovation the price increased...
Very friendly service.....
Rojak is fine but missing a bit the perfect balance between sweet .. spicy...crunchy and fresh....
Located in an authentic Singaporean open air food court.
Very friendly uncle.
Taopok, you tiao and sauce are separate for take aways to maintain the crispiness.
Such a lovely owner manning the stall - always a nice smile taking your order. Makes your day before you even order 😊👍 A must eat or ta-pao when you are in the area or a go-to when you are in the mood for rojak. Sauce is delicious & fresh ingredients - especially enjoy the century egg, dried fish and cuttlefish for additional punch to the dish!!
Finally got to try this stall that I often passes by and caught by the sight of their perpetual long queue. In fact, without the queue you'll hardly notice the stall as it is tucked away at one corner with a Chinese rice stall entirely blocking the view of the stall.
I hardly have Rojak but I enjoyed the one at the Toa Payoh terminal basement foodcourt which some say was the best and I have to say this stall was very much comparable to it. Read some Google reviews(while queueing) that it used to be better so can't imagine how good that will be.
One of the best Rojak in Singapore ,
Good sauce and good price ,
Always a smile on uncle face when you buy Rojak from him !! Although always
A long queue here, but it worth to wait !!
Opening hours is 9:30am or 10am , but
Sorry , not confirmed , so must ask uncle
About the opening time !!
And also their Off Day !! By the way ,
There is a lot of peanuts in the Rojak !!
Take Note for those who cannot eat
Peanut !!
They have been there for decades, since I was a boy. The 'Bruce Lee' brothers' rojak ain't like any out there. The sweetness and rich flavors of tamarind, peanut, prawn paste are really balance with hints of ginger flower to stimulate your taste buds. You just got to try it to believe my point. The only thing that its not spicy even if I asked for extra chili... Haha(that's just me)
Other than that it's perfect.
The BBQ yu char kway is also their best selling, tgthr with stuffed taupok and grilled Sotong.
Great tasting rojak, friendly owners!
I have been patronizing this Brothers Rojak stall for years since i was young. They are an expert in making their own Chinese Rojak that captivates my tastebuds without fail. I have tried all other stalls in Singapore and none has come close to Brothers Rojak tasty Rojak!! In fact, i always buy 4 packets each time though i don't live near Clementi. It is worth the trip for it! I highly recommend to all Singaporeans and tourists alike to patronize their rojak stall. The taste will leave you drooling for more. For a tourist, this is mixed fruits with fried dough and dried beancurd stirred and mix well with shrimp pastes. Add chili if you want abit of spice but can always ask for no chili. Bon apetit'!
Best rojak in Singapore. Really. No real competition against this stall.
5 star for original uncle
Not as nice when the person making is the younger boy (I think the grand son)
3 star for the youngster. Hope he'll get better!
One of the best rojak stall in Singapore. Nowadays, the queue have shortened but last time always at least 10 people queue. It's always a detour for me to buy this rojak but you can justify it by its taste.
Great tasting rojak, disappointed by the soft you tiao though.....
Wish it weren't so, but sadly, past their hey days...
Still long q, can't manage production volume
Not heating up youtiao,
Tau pok on mini toaster oven, but not hot at all
Rojak sauce mix uneven
Generous with peanuts
Century egg still very good.
It was a short queue when i went at 5pm! The uncle grills the cuttlefish when you order it! Generous serving of peanut and sauce too!
Nice rojak, taste is just right and good mix of ingredients!
Simple food made to authentic taste under the experienced brothers.
It’s a great local delight that highly recommend!
My mum’s favourite rojak stall… 🥰👍👍👍
Brother Rojak was very famous. in the store also can try hongkong zhichar.
Among the best in Singapore. Pls also try Balestier Road Hoover Rojak for comparison
Delicious rojak. Great service. Uncle always smile and polite to customer.
Not bad as long as its uncle making. Not uncle make i wont buy.
This is one of my top 3 rojak. Uncle very friendly even when busy!
The best of the best chinese rojak in the west of Singapore. Period.
Overall not bad.
Prawn fritters prawn not fresh...
Indeed the best teh tarik fix!
One of the best rojak in Singapore. Must try!
Iconic place that's a must try for those around clementi area
Food good
Super
as popular as before
Nostalgic.
Recomanded
Makansutra 6/6
4Star Negative
<Pros>
Tasty (sweet but light) source
with rich seafood umami
Generous portion
Friendly uncle
<Cons>
A bit pricey as rojak
Cuttlefish is mediocre
Sliced fruits and vegetables with sweet and spicy peanut sauce
Matching Rojak's shop
Basically, I don't like it that much, and I don't think it's for Japanese people.
If you must eat there, this is the place.
Authentic rojak
