Reviews of Cavenagh Bridge
Beautiful historical bridge crossing the canal between the Asian Civilization Museum and the Fullerton Hotel. You can find great opportunities for nice photos on the bridge and both sides the canal and its surroundings.
Great location for night photography and fireworks. Away from the crowd.
Beautiful old bridge. Great view of the river. While not a tourist attraction per se, it's a great stop as you tour the area and a well known landmark.
The first bridge in Singapore that made in England n shipped here... Very historic... No vehicle are to be use on the bridge in recent years...
Love it, it is a good walking trail from Cavenagh bridge all the way to Marina barrage. We continue on the trail to the East coast park
Historic landmark and a perfect place to see during the walk across Singapore River.
A steel bridge that spans the river. Can only imagine all the folks who walked over it throughout the years. Another must see if your in Singapore.
Love the fact that this bridge has been around since the 1800s! And yes horses and cattles! :)
Cavenagh bridge, fantastic example of british engineering, Named after Sir Lieutenant General William Orfeur Cavenagh. was built in 1868. It is the today the oldest bridge across the Singapore River.
Great place for photos of the parallel Anderson Bridge and its backdrop.
Historical and beautiful bridge. When the evening comes, there are lamps on each panels to lighten up.
Historic and beautifully lit up bridge (evening hours ) near Boat Quay, Singapore.
Amazing piece of architecture. During the night with lights it looks awesome. Built very long back and yet it still looks spectacular. But it cannot hold or allow vehicles to pass through it. But the reflection of lights on the water looks brilliant. Nearby there are stairs where you can sit relax and watch the smoothing lights and the view of nearby buildings
How cool was it seeing this historical bridge and reading this sign. Always great to see little pieces of history in cities.
Historical! Enjoying 1 dollar ice cream next to it!
Historical Bridge just outside The Fullerton Hotel. Cannot miss this landmark bridge so iconic.
this very old bridge crossing the Singapore River is pedestrian only and gives you a good view over the Boat Quay area as well as parts of Marina Bay.
You can get ice cream and nasty statue. What a combination.
Good place to visit. Look of Fullerton Hotel from the Bridge is awesome both in sunshine and after sunset. Nice weather was adding fun.
This bridge always amaze me with the construction and a view to the river museum and Fullerton Hotel
Only suspension bridge and one of the oldest bridge in Singapore dating back to 1870. Originally know as Edinburgh Bridge, it now connects the recently revamped Civic District to the Downtown Core. Great photo location.
Mind blowing ambience and beautiful place
This is a legend bridge .. through this way we can go easily to merlion park or another place .
Really old and historical suspension bridge for pedestrians.
It's a beautiful bridge.
Victorian suspension bridge in a beautiful city on the other side of the planet. Part of imperial Britain's complex relationship with the world but still a lovely bit of over-engineering.
Great view of Singapore river and Marina Bay.
Cavenagh bridge is a great bridge to see while in Singapore. Its old and beautiful, so make the time to cross over it while walking up or down the river.
Good place to stroll in the evening after dinner. Many expensive dining choices nearby. For budget-conscious, go for Chinatown Market and just walk over to exercise a bit.
Beautiful place with breeze in the evening! You can walk to opposite to have night view for Singapore downtown area.
Nothing great about the bridge but the waterfront place around is great for evening dinners. Upscale location filled with high class hotels
The childs playing on the river 😋 be careful son!
Beautifully designed suspension bridge. One of Singapore's tourist attractions.
Insta check in place with beautiful background.
Small but nice place
Beautiful bridge in Singapore..
It's a bridge. There's some near historical facts you can find online. There's actually a lot of plaques around that are informative.
Best place to be in especially for new year's eve - great view of the fireworks
One place that must not be forgotten. This bridge is the crossroad for past, present and future of Singapore.👏
The lights turn on at night, making it a beautiful place to have a stroll
Very nice place near the business district of Singapore. Not very far from merlion
One of the most Beautiful hotel in singapore
Good vibes, aesthetic place
Very historical scene near river bank. It's an icon worth to go & view.
Nice old bridge, if you love bridges
Have a brisk walk with the touch of History
Well maintained historic bridge.
This is a very iconic bridge in Singapore
Very beautiful bridge in Boat Quay
Built by R&W McClellan Engineers from Glasgow in 1868
Great place for view marina bay
Nice scene
The view is absolutely marvelous..
Romantic bridge
It has nice view
👍
Historical bridge
A old iron bridge made
Awesome..
Loved walking there
A bridge
Well maintained
Amazing
The aesthetics of this bridge are really successful. Additionally, it was manufactured in Glasgow in 1868 and then transported to Singapore. It's hard to imagine embarking on such a construction these days. This book is really interesting.
It was right next to the Caventaf Bridge and the Fullerton Hotel.
It is said that the bridge has a beautiful view at night.
Next time, I plan to come back at night ^^
The installation art next to the bridge is quite good, it not only has texture but also shows cultural traditions, and the shape is also very interesting. On the way from the city to Merlion Park, tourists may wish to walk along the Singapore River and walk across this bridge and the 50th Anniversary Bridge to experience the history, culture and beauty of the riverside scenery.
You can take good pictures of the Fullerton Hotel and the river view from this bridge!
Tourists gather on this road because cars cannot pass!
It is rated 5 stars because most people visit the riverside area when sightseeing in Singapore.
If you come to see Fullerton, you'll definitely see it from this bridge.
The Cavenagh Bridge, which opened in 1869, is one of the oldest bridges in Singapore and has been preserved to this day. At night the bridge lights up with LEDs. But the building is also striking during the day and is worth a detour if you are nearby.
Ah, the name of this place was Cavennaf Bridge haha.
I got off at Raffles Place Station and saw a pretty white bridge on my way to Merlion Park.
Right across from this bridge is the historical and quite famous Fullerton Hotel, and this hotel is also very pretty.
I took a quick look and there was a fancy brunch cafe outside the hotel. If I win the lottery later, I'll have to have brunch at a nice hotel like this too.
I kept walking from Marina Bay until I came across this place. It's quite beautiful.
It is one of the oldest bridges in Singapore.
Only people can pass through.
It looks beautiful and looks great in photos.
Cavenagh Bridge, Singapore is a bridge with English architecture. There are artsy statues such as statues of children jumping and playing in the water, families of cats, and strollers that tell the story of life. and stories from the past
This bridge is located in front of the Fullerton Hotel, near Marina Bay.
Cavenagh Bridge is the only suspension bridge in Singapore. Anyone who wants to take a photo that looks like they've traveled to England can take a photo with this vowel. Because it is a bridge with British architecture (because Singapore was once a British colony), there are many British-style architectures in this country. Including this bridge.
It’s so beautiful under the light! You can also see the beauty of Anderson Bridge and The Fullerton Hotel.
Night lights near Clarke Quay, a hangout area next to Singapore's waterfront.
A very historical bridge, very beautiful
