Heard from a friend who stays near the neighbourhood that this coffee shop Kim San Leng coffee shop has very good western; CharGrill Bar. Affordable western food. Most main comes with 2 sides. But didn’t enjoy the fish selection.. grilled fish with lemon butter sauce. Fish was a little dry. Ended up asking more butter from the person. Should have ordered the grilled chickens maybe. But overall, it filled our stomachs.

$12.90 for Fish & Chips at a coffee shop is so expensive. Yet the Fish & Chips doesn't even come with fries. You are supposed to choose 2 side dishes of which fries was an option. At first I thought Fish & Chips already have fries,so why would I want to add-on fries? So turns out it does not come with fries originally. The fish portion was also quite small. Pathetic meal and disappointing.

Usually their food is really very nice….. Just a little sad that tonight I was craving for onion rings it turned out to be like MacDonald French fries texture , soft and not crispy. Light yellow color. Ate halfway then realised I should have voiced out :/ hopefully I can eat the crispy nice onion rings next time ^_^

They manage to maintain a consistent taste as probably all outlets get their sauces etc from the same central source. Prices reasonable compared to other western food stalls. But should have more side items and better range of soups.
