Quite nice pasta. The cabonara was flavourful and the other aglio with pork collar was good too. Maybe the aglio olive oil wasn't as fragrant but still decent. The pork is good enough without the pepper sauce.

Restaurant standard Western food at coffeeshop prices. Such a gem. Walked past a few times and finally gave it a try. Did not disappoint. Do try their garlic fried rice and striploin steak. Medium rare was perfectly done. Seafood aglio was also very fragrant with generous amounts of seafood. Definitely will be back to try more things on the menu! Owner was friendly too :)

First time take away carbonara bacon poached egg. The best carbonara I had tired in the coffeeshop to date. Super thick Creamy and not watery. Value for money ($8.50). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Surely will come back for other menu.

I think it is no exaggeration to say that, in my humble estimation, this is perhaps the best or one of the best pasta stalls you'll ever find in a coffeeshop/hawker setting. The portions of the prawn aglio olio and clam & crabmeat white wine pasta were more than generous for their price. Prawns were grilled very nicely and the clams and crabmeat broth were really tasty. Other reviews mentioned that chef really cooks from his heart and I can't agree more. Did not manage to try that many dishes on my first visit, will definitely be back for more!

As the shop name is, I ordered pasta here. Carbonara with bacon and poached egg. It was good. I liked it so much. It was so creamy and the poached egg was cooked to my preference. Cut bacon at the pasta was also good. The preparation wasn't that long, it was shorter than my expectation. For western food, the price was ok.

Abit pricey for the portion but when i was here there wasn’t much of an option. Ordered the grilled chix chop. Wasn’t bad but nth mind blowing also. It’s the kind of reg sg western food lo. Waited gp long for my food to arrive. Environment also quite unbearably hot. I guess just using the Tam Jiak name to pull its weight only. Prob wouldn’t return to this scammy kopitiam again unless i’m in the area and no queue.

pasta was al-dente, beef slices were thick and well marinated, cooked medium-well ish. portion was reasonable for the price paid. a small gripe with the sauce as the black pepper was too heavy and overpowered the truffle that the dish was named after. nonetheless, still an enjoyable experience

Incredibly value for money!! My favourite place to come for affordable and tasty pasta, you get a generous serving of both the noodles and sides (duck, bacon etc). Nothing like generic spaghetti you find at some other western stalls. My only minor complaint is that there's coriander in the aglio olio, which caught me off guard when I ordered it - if you also hate coriander like me, ask for it to be left out. Garlic fried rice is also garlicky and full of wok hei :) I hope they maintain this standard of wonderful dishes.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a tasty and decent western/pasta store here. Food was value for money and had a level of sophistication that went beyond hawker standards. Would recommend the crab meat and clams white wine pasta

Pasta wasn't exactly al dente. I would recommend the aglio olio if you want to eat a pasta dish and highly recommend their garlic fried rice dishes with one of the protein. The fried rice on its own it's so good and portion is big.

Seafood pasta with white wine surprisingly good. almost like restaurant grade got mussel prawn clams, generous serving at coffee shop price, will return to try other pasta dish
