The middle aged man said that the stall had closed “卖完了” as I arrived at about 3 minutes to their closing time at 8pm. I said my mum wanted to eat popiah. He then said he had packed 2 rolls for himself to eat. I asked if I could buy 1 roll from him. He paused and said I could have the box. That’s very sweet of him. I am grateful to him and delighted that I could get vegetarian food for my mum. I have bought popiah from this stall several times and do like its taste.

I pretty much grew up eating this popiah stall, taste of it hasn’t changed much (only price hikes due to inflation). Kueh Pie Ti and Popiah are the most worthy items to order from this stall. Vegetables used are really fresh, and KPT’s shell is appropriately crunchy too! If you’re ever here in Kovan market, definitely order this for sharing amongst your friends ☺️👍🏼 And if you really like em, they do have DIY sets available for takeaways too!

Ive not done review for other stalls but these one really needed as so far the most delicious popiah and kuih pie ti ive tasted and its HALAL too!!! Pls do try. I bring it back home and it still taste as good wow.. definitely will come back again. So cheap so good and owner so nice. 🤗

Very nice PoPiah, a bit pricey as compare to others at $2 each but if you buy 2 cost $3.80. I like the filling that packed with flavors and the auntie does wrap it nicely. Definitely will come back to have more of their PoPiah. They do sell Muai Chee also not sure nice or not.

Preordered popiah and due to unforeseen reasons, we are late for the collection. The male staff is very nice and waited for us while we rushed down. Appreciate it!
