My absolute comfort food in Tampines Hub and I eat this almost every week! Superb food quality; well grilled pork belly and 猪油, onsen egg is on point, topped with nice crunchy pickles. It is just perfect 💯 You might also want to note that they provide quality sauces like Kikkoman (not just some random soya sauce) to enhance the tastes too 👍🏻

Tried the dry ramen just now. When I first saw the bowl, I was very shocked that the presentation is so nice, looks like something you'll get at a restaurant where you pay 20-30++. But here I only pay 6.50! Taste wise I think it's very balanced. Noodles are cooked perfectly aldente, have crunchy pickles and fried bits so each bite has different texture, egg to make the entire thing more creamy, pork is tender and well marinated. I would say most people will like this flavor profile but for me..... I'll add a touch of soy sauce to mine haha (which they do provide) Overall I'm very shocked and impressed that I am able to get such high quality, presentable and adequately portioned Japanese food at such an affordable price. Will definitely come back to try their other menu offerings

Ordered the dry ramen and we really enjoyed it! It came with different ingredients which mix really well and mix in the onsen egg to give creaminess to the noodle. The pork belly is grilled nicely and it's still very tender. The miso soup is quite standard but the dry ramen is really worth the price. Food was prepared quite fast too.

Have gotten the pork don here 3-4 times counting and it's really good!! The meat is perfectly grilled & sauce is amazing, love the purple pickles which clear the palate, rice is also very yummy!! Today there was some fried shallots added (I think?) which gave the dish a nice crunch! The food is always made with love and it shows in the food served. Always tell myself that I want to try the dry ramen or chicken don but always go back to the classic, but will defo give the other dishes a try one day!

🙂/🥹 It was a well made and tasty bowl of noodles, and for the price was well worth it. I had the dry ramen which came with loads of ingredients. Now, I wish the noodles were better quality and thicker but I’m not going to fuss over a $6.50(?) bowl.

Amazed at this quality of rice bowl at a hawker centre, and even better because of its price point!! Honestly i cant decent if the ramen or rice was better, but it doesnt hurt to order both to try. Definitely will revisit!!

Shiok noodle bowl for $6.50, tastes like maze soba that restaurants are selling. Would recommend that but not side dishes as they are pricey. Comes with soup.

Good Japanese pork rice bowl, some with seaweed miso soup. Pork belly slices are cooked with flavourful sauce after that flame torched to caramelised it. Tamagoyami is sweet but small portion. Dining area got fans not too warm. Price is S$6.5 for pork bowl, add on tamagoyaki is S$2. Payment cannot use Paywave and NETS.

I had been eyeing this stall since my last visit to Tampines Hub, finally got to taste it. We were there 1:30pm, saw no queue and thought I was lucky. But when I placed my order of “Pork Rice Bowl”, I was given a pager. Ehh?? So I sat down at table just besides the stall. Wifey came back with her fishball Kway Teow. Oh, there were at least 5 diners ahead of me, who came forward to collect their orders. One even came to collect her takeaway orders of 4 portions! When my pager beeped, wifey was halfway through her meal. Besides the Pork Rice Bowl, the meal came with a bowl of Miso Soup. Hmm, the pork slices were well marinated and tasted delicious. The rice was not too sticky but firm. Nice to chew on. With the sauce from the pork marinade, the rice was delicious - well, I would like it a tad less salty. Nevertheless delicious. Found out later that the stall used Massigura Rice (from Northern Japan). The type many places use for Sushi and Donburi. 👍 The Miso Soup was good, not “dilute” and I finished every drop of it. So $6.50 for this set was a pretty good deal. Wifey tasted the pork, rice and Miso Soup; she liked it too!

Ordered the pork dry ramen . Verdict : Pork is well marinated , ramen is Q and mixed them with the half boil egg and minced meat , great fusion ! I really enjoyed the meal Picture taken was after I stirred all the ingredients !

Good and cheap Japanese food located at Tampines hub. I tried the chicken bowl and it was pretty good. Hopefully there is an option for butter chicken with noodles in the future.

Ordered on two separate occasions, had the chashu ramen and pork belly donburi respectively. Both did not disappoint, great food at a decent price point!

Affordable Japanese style noodles that stayed springy even after the walk home. The pork belly was soft and seasoned well too. My only issue is that it’s a little dry.
