The fish soup was all right, was disappointed as it was under expectation as I see the reviews were pretty good. Just a normal fish soup, can't say it is nice.

Loved this fish soup tucked away in an industrial canteen. Parking is sufficient. Generous serving of fish in each bowl, and the soup was sweet and flavourful. Loved the tau cheo chili sauce! Pay 2 bucks for a plateful worth of fried egg floss, and you won't regret it!

No queue on Saturday 1.30pm, so the food was served pretty fast. I ordered the fish slices soup with meehoon. No extra charges for noodles. The soup was tasty, maybe it has some Chinese wine too. They gave plenty of fish slices, all fresh, maybe 8 all of them. It came with green vegetables too. But the shredded fried egg was quite miserable, hope that I don't have to pay extra to get more. Overall, it is delicious, worth for a try, worth for money too.

Nice Fish soup, the soup was tasty. Fish was fresh. The best is to add on with 炸蛋 (Fried Egg). Haha 😂. Recommend to give it a try, there are also plenty of parking behind the coffee shop. But the down side, location abit difficult to find with public transport. Recommend to give it a try if you are nearby. 😋

Their food is flavourful, and the price is economically friendly. Their sliced fish are fresh, and I recommend trying. The store is located in an industry area, but it didn't stop us from finding it. 😄

More popularly known as ‘大山’ (Taisun). One of my favourite fish soup. Soup based slightly sweet, fresh and delicious fish. The chili is the bomb, go easy.

Excellence in a fish soup! A great stock. Very tasty TeoChew style fish soup and good chilli with tau-cheo (preserved soy beans sauce). They use fresh vegetables (cai-sim) and not lettuce to garnish like plants. They put nice fried egg shreds (egg floss/egg bomb) in and the portions of egg, veg and fish are reasonable. Pay a little extra for the mackerel Batang fish, otherwise it's snakehead fish. Need to add if you want extra ingredients. While there are long snaking queues by lunch time, it's all worth it though. They make each bowl fresh and fast. The hardworking couple work tirelessly and quietly, and their grumpiness is endearing because you know each bowl is made with a lot of hard work, sweat and homemade goodness. Yew Yi Hup canteen's hygiene isn't great. It is in a large industrial open-concept JTC at Kallang Way (23 Kallang Ave). Birds, bird poop and stained dirty tables, chairs and floors. Tapau if you cannot bear the grime and eating location. Parking is paid and open concept at $0.70/30min.

Thick chunks of fish, quite fresh. The fried ones also doesn’t feel too oily and hard. A very decent fish soup. Not mindblowing. Should give more fried egg if you added additional but the portion of fried egg quite miserable. Not entering mindblowing but worth trying if you are in the area and craving for fairly healthier food. Nestled in a very old hdb block.

This place is hands-down THE BEST fish soup, that i have ever have. It is worth every bit of time and effort to make the trip down for this savoury broth and tender fish.

I have been a fan for this stall from Lavender - Kitchener Complex. Strongly recommend! Must try.

It's scary to find such delicious fish soup in a place like this! It gets crowded on weekday afternoons, so it's probably best to go on Saturday. Please note that it is usually only open until 3pm. I think the reason why the soup is so good is probably something that the lady sprinkles on it at the end, but I don't know what it is 🤫 To return the tray after eating, go to the back!
