Reviews of LiXin Teochew Fishball Noodles
Finally got to try this famed fishball noodles on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm when the queue was much shorter (it’s usually twice of what’s in the photo), and the waiting time was still a full 20 minutes 😅
We were the second last in the queue as they ran out of fishballs, and only had 粿条面 for the noodles which we didn’t love, but was fine with.
🍝 the sauce was definitely unique, a little pasty unlike the usual ones that is more liquid - noodles were also cooked Al dente, each bite was an enjoyment in itself!
Fishballs were super fresh and fragrant on its own, didn’t had to pair it with the soy sauce or chilli.
💰 for $3.50 a bowl, it’s no wonder people are queuing 45-60 minutes for from morning till closing.. definitely well worth the money and time!
It is a stall in the Kim Keat Hawker centre. I would say the noodles (面薄,粿条,熟面) are well cooked and blended with sauce. Fishballs are freshly handmade and cooked instantly. Expecting long queue but easily to find seats in the hawker centre. It's $4 for an averagel bowl of noodle. Where can you find it at such price for tasty food?
Unending queue for this Teochew fishball noodle, but the line moves quickly. There were 4 persons at this stall, 2 cooking, 1 taking order, and one cutting chilli.
The fishball is very "bouncy" and the taste is as good as it gets. The noodle is cooked perfectly, and the chilli sauce is really nice.
The soup is the traditional clear fishball soup. Very nice.
Satisfied my mee pok fixed for the week.
5.50 was a huge bowl! With huge round fish balls!! Noodles were cooked just right. Queue moves fast so hang in there. It’s worth it even though I generally don’t like tomato sauce in my noodles
I would like to give compliment to the food & also the staffs at the Causeway Point branch located at L4 food court.
The fish balls are fresh & bouncy, and noodles are flavourful. Other than that, the staffs are doing a great job at maintaining the cleanliness of the stall. They greet customers with friendliness & always helpful with the order.
This is my third time patronising the stall and I will continue to do so. Keep up the good work.

Fish ball noodle is not in my favourite food list. However, this one is nice and i will return for it.
The fish ball is springy and tasty. Each ball is big and 50 cents forceach add on. The meepok was nicely cooked. The sauce enhanced the palate. That said, i felt thirsty after meal, not sure if it was due to the sauce.
You can hardly find a delicious fish ball noodle nowadays at S$3.50.
The setback was the long queue i queued for 35 minutes. While queueing, i counted that it had been around 25 persons in the queue.
This is actually my 3rd attempt to try this stall. Previous 2 time, the queue was either too long or they are closed for the day. Made an attempt to come earlier this time round. The queue was significantly shorter. Queue for closed to 20mins before it was my turn to order. Seems like there is only 1 price over here, which was SGD$3.50 for a bowl of fishbowl noodle. You can add on additional fishball for 50cents each.
My bowl of fishball noodle came with 5 fishball that's all. Noodle was nicely cooked. Sauce was rather thick and its the ketchup based which was what i preferred. Noodle has that lardy 古早味. Their fishball is definitely handmade, it has a springy texture and taste fresh.
Really a solid bowl of fishball noodle that i wouldn't mind queuing again.
Come here for the original Lixin! The noodles are tossed in a well balanced mix of lard, chilli and ketchup, and the fishballs are big and bouncy.
Long q for qq fishballs! Great texture and taste and very good value for money. Only had kway teow available when it's my turn but still very good nonetheless. Hawker Centre here is spacious and well ventilated too. Stall usually closes after lunch as they'd be sold out by then.
Fishball meepok noodles ($3.50). The highlight was the light bouncy fishballs. And they give you five of it.
The noodles were springy and well coated with sauce. There is fried pork lard too. Pic 2, shifu in action.

Delicious fishball noodles! Affordable at $3/bowl. Fishballs are large and tasty. Friendly and courteous staffs! Well done :)
Undoubtly one of the best Fishball Noodle in Singapore 👍
Chanced upon this stall at Toa Payoh.
Saw a very long queue , so we just joined it. It's very tasty, not often that yellowtail fishballs in classic clean clear soup is available.
Tops in texture and flavour.
The noodles were al dente and the red sauces look spicier than they taste.
Very good value !
Loved the fresh fish balls and mee pok texture
Was there pretty late where only kway tiew available. Didn't have the chance to try the dry version. The soup version is simple but refreshing. Comes with 5 big fish balls. The size of the FB is unusual big compare to traditional fish ball noodle stall. The FB is very fresh and has the bouncy texture. Definately worth the queue!
Old 70's ketchup style fishball noodles which common then but rarely found now..
Where do you find $3.5 noodles with bouncy fish balls ? Worth the wait as the q move fast.
delicious fishball and tasty soup
always great to have during rainy day
Top few fishball noodle shop in Singapore, they close early though; recommend to be there by 11am
One of the most fantastic fishball noodles I've ever had in my life.
