Coming here is never a simple pierce and go appointment. Rinku and her team make you feel like you’ve just dropped by an auntie’s house with the level of hospitality given! They’ll also take the time to lovingly explore possible options for jewelry, piercings and future plans for a perfect set up. Piercings are painful, that’s a given, but at Mantra the process is actually transformed to a process of fun, care and anticipation. If you’re into fine Jewelry there’s plenty of high end gold options for you, but there’s also titanium for those on a budget!

Formerly known as Primitive Body Arts at Queensway Shopping Centre. They've reopened at North Bridge Road in May 2021! The new place is much bigger than the old one. Nice and homely, but also spacious and clean! They have one piercer, Rinku, and three tattoo artists. Rinku is an amazing piercer and she's currently the only one in Singapore who is certified by the Association of Professional Piercers! With over 20 years of experience and certifications in the area, who else is there to go to? Yes, she's on the pricier side, but rest assured that you are getting your money's worth as she uses high quality needles and high quality piercing safe jewellery that also come in 14k and 18k gold. best piercer in Singapore. rinku is very professional and gives the best advice based on your ear anatomy and budget. she is gentle esp for those nervy when coming for piercings. I’ve gotten 6 piercings with her, and am already planning many more. her staff, Dylan and Nat are always v helpful. the only studio I’d go to for all my piercings.

I had a phenomenal experience with Rinku and her staff when getting my nostril and septum repierced today. While the pricing was on the expensive side of the spectrum for a piercing in Singapore, the customer care and attentiveness to the placement of the piercing was spectacular. I had previously found it difficult to find a nostril piercing with a flat back in Singapore, and Mantra Collective provides a large range of flat back designs. Rinku took specific care to ensure the placement of her piercing suited my deviated septum anatomy and also my previous scar tissue. I’ve never had such attentive care from a piercer before. I would highly recommend :)

Got my first rook piercing with Rinku and I was super nervous since my previous helix piercing was done (with a gun ouch, please don’t do this) more than 10 years ago elsewhere and I couldn’t recall how it felt when I was getting it done. Didn’t help that the internet writes horror stories about how rook piercings rank quite high on the ear piercing pain scale. Rook piercing with Rinku was PAINLESS. The space is comfortable and clean, she taught me helpful breathing techniques and gave me a plushy to hold and voila it was done in seconds. Highly recommended!

Lovely and professional staffs. Everyone was so helpful and patient. The girl at the counter was so good at styling and gave me many cute ideas on how to style my conch and helix, Rinku (the piercer) was so fast and efficient and the session was almost painless. Definitely my go to place for piercings now! They have a wide selection of high quality Jewelry too. This is the best place to go to if you need to get a piercing.

Had a wonderful experience here with my helix piercing! The staff are very friendly and patient, especially when I took awhile to choose my earring:) The lady boss was very reassuring, giving me advice and answering whatever questions I had patiently! She was extremely professional and I absolutely LOVE the way my piercing turned out! (Since I closed my previous piercing that I did elsewhere as it was badly done)

came in few months back with my friend to accompany her for her new piercing!! rinku was super sweet enough to also accommodate me in changing out my conch piercing (not done by her 🥹) and also when i didn’t make an appointment too.. super duper warm and courteous experience the entire time when it wasn’t even me who engaged for the services. from then on, i knew i would go to her for all piercings matters! 10/10 absolutely love all the staff here and the vibes of the place 🫶

I came here to look for new jewellery and get a new piercing — Mantra Collective not only has a great selection of pieces, but also helpful staff to help you figure out what exactly you're looking for, even when uncertain like me! I had problems with a new piercing due to some swelling and came back to get the bar lengthened. Because it was so painful, Rinku was so kind and let me do some warm compresses to help relieve some pain. Another piecer there (a really sweet person who’s name I didn’t get — I think it might be Nat) helped me change it out afterwards, and was so swift and precise that it wasn’t as painful as I was bracing myself for it to be. They were fantastic and experienced! I cannot recommend Mantra Collective enough. It is an amazing place and probably the only piercing studio in Singapore I can recommend! They are also APP certified. I will certainly be coming back in the future.

Met Rinku for the first time when I did my helix piercing with her. Piercing developed some pus but when back to her and issue resolved. Similarly, I pierced my nose somewhere else and when to her to get some advice because of a keloid being grown. She changed my stud after 3 months, the keloid disappeared. Rinku is really my go to if I would like to get any new piercing or change of jewellery. She is so patient and kind. Definitely have recommended to a couple of my friends and they loved it ❤️

I went to Mantra to change out my ear piercings which I did in Korea due to an allergic reaction to the studs used. Everyone there was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, offering suggestions and advice to help me make my choices on which pieces will go well together. This place is a real upgrade from the ones I’d go to 20 years ago, where helix and lobe piercings would be done with a gun and most other piercings would only have titanium jewellery options. Healing time with Rinku’s method is far smoother, cleaner, less painful, less hassle-y than a gun piercing (which is basically blunt force trauma). Rinku is clearly an expert, and it helps too, that she’s an artist, so you know piercings and designs are going to be balanced according to your personal style. When my daughter’s ready for an ear piercing, I’ll just bring her to Rinku. I think above all, everyone who walks in (that I observe at least), are welcomed warmly and made to feel at ease in the Mantra shop, which is so important. Of course they are clean and everything is sanitised and the shop is brightly lit. The jewellery are of the fine and Demi fine category, so if it’s something fancy you’re after, this is the place.

Did my navel piercing here and I am very pleased with the service and result. Thank you Rinku for guiding me on the breathing techniques to help calm my nerves. It definitely made my first navel piercing experience relaxing and painless! :)

The piercings that Rinku did for me were great! She was so careful to measure and mark out the spots for the piercings. They turned out perfectly. I've read that these piercings can be a pain when it comes to healing but I haven't had a single problem. The next day, I already felt completely normal. Thanks, Rinku! My favorite go-to place, full of blingies when you enter! Everyone there is always welcoming and the vibes are great ♡ They make sure to sterilize by autoclaving the jewelry and use new needles, so you can get the best and safest piercing experience. Marking is being done to ensure correct placement of piercing before proceeding. Purchased several pieces from them, great as always. They carry jewelry from reputable brands (namely Anatometal, BJO, BVLA, Junipurr, Neometal, Pupil Hall, Modern Mood, etc.) and they look so pretty after wearing! They also pick cute pieces for your ear and help to curate according to a style of liking - chains, charms, dangles, you name it! All of my piercings are done personally here by Rinku herself! Can't wait to get more after they heal. Overall experience is perfect, I couldn't ask for any better more ♡ Thank you Rinku & Natascha! - Alyssa
