Reviews of Mui Lim Cooked Food
j.There are 3 stalls selling economic rice at Alexandra market. At 1130am there were already queues at all 3. To work out which to try, I deployed my trusty economic rice barometer, and Mui Lim seemed the most promising.
Don't let the queue stop you. The friendly boss/order taker with the booming voice clears the order fast, while the lady boss/cook works quietly but diligently at the hot stove.
The curry is more creamy than spicy. It reminds me of Hainan curry. I had fried chicken, curry vegetables, green vegetables, and onion egg. The taste agrees with me. Is it really economic? My plate was $4, which I think is reasonable.
