We engaged Nat for our wedding at Andaz Hotel. Throughout the event, he was very patient and even guided us with the posing. A few weeks later, we received the edited photos and were very pleased with the final output. Thanks Nat for helping to capture these special moments! Would definitely recommend Nat for his excellent photography!

I recently engaged Nathaniel for my pre wedding shoot and I must say I'm very impressed with his professionalism and great service! Nathaniel took about 2 weeks to send me the edited photos of the shoot along with a special gift and I thought that is very fast and efficient. Thumbs up for that. Furthermore, he gave us a bonus location to shoot at on the shoot day itself. Most importantly, the pictures he edited are stunning and I am loving every single one of them. He also delivered more than what he was supposed to deliver. I would definitely recommend him to everyone if you are looking for a professional photographer for your wedding shoot!!

We engaged Nathaniel for a pre-wedding photoshoot, but have also engaged him separately for my fiance's family photoshoot. As a couple with little to no understanding of how to pose for photos, Nathaniel was great at guiding and directing us and was extremely patient in doing so. He came with a professional, can-do attitude despite not having the most props or preparedness from us. Not entirely sure how to properly analyse the photos but to me and my fiance they look great. We have already engaged him twice and given his value we would not hesitate to engage him again for any photography services.

Engaged Nathaniel Lim Studio after googling "Wedding photographers" and it was one of the top few results. We enjoyed the framing and colours we saw on the website. We also noticed that all of the wedding pictures are of a similarly high quality and standard. This gave us confidence that whatever we saw on the website, Nathaniel would be the one taking the shots. At other studios with more photographers on hand, you never know who you might get on that day; and not all of them might be as good as the ones you see on their website. To us, it was our wedding day; To Nathaniel, he has probably done this a few thousand times before. We sent him many questions as we wanted to be reassured we would be well taken care of, and he answered all of them with experience and heart. We did feel confident that he knows what he is doing and would guide us along. We booked him for our wedding date and paid the deposit. Unfortunately, both families fell ill with COVID before the wedding date and we had to reschedule. Nathaniel was very understanding and wished us a speedy recovery, no additional deposit needed. As we were booking out second date, we briefly consulted with him on what would be a good timing for the ceremony and photography session afterwards. As I'm familiar with "Magic Hour", he also agreed that later afternoon was a good time for some outdoor shots. When the day came, he was at the venue at precisely when he said he would be, about 10~15 minutes before the ceremony. There were some bureaucratic errors that needed to be handled, so he had us do some shots in the lobby. If someone wanted to take a picture with their handphone, he would also use the phone along with his own camera. Before the ceremony, he gave us all some instructions on the walk in order and signaled each of us to have some nice "procession" shots. He took pictures of the document signing, us putting on the rings, the vow recital, and some casual shots which I enjoy. Afterwards, we did some family phototaking, he would organise different parties to stand with the bride and groom for all the combinations. After the families had left, he walked us through some photographic spots near the venue. We had our solemnization at the ROM Building at Fort Canning so he was quite familiar with the area. I wanted some pictures at the spiral staircase hole in the ground structure but he said it is too dark today (it was cloudy as it was raining earlier). We took photos at an old arch, brick stairs, a garden, a swing, and some balinese-inspired architecture. He asked us if we had a signature pose we would like to do (apparently this is a thing people have?). Not knowing any better, we did a dab (that's still cool, right?). Nathaniel's direction was very helpful and he made us feel very comfortable. We are not the sort of couple that takes a lot of pictures, and I personally find it very difficult to smile sincerely on command. His guidance and blocking helped us immensely. He also had the quick reflexes at the ready to take more spontaneous and casual shots. We talked a bit about his other projects and were very excited to learn he took photographs for JU 聚 Signatures. It made us feel very comfortable and relaxed for the photos knowing we were in such good hands and with such a friendly guy. 3 weeks later (on the guide it says 2-4 weeks), we received all our edited pictures and got to relive our special day again and all the pictures turned out so beautiful. We were really happy the result was similar to the website, and the reason we wanted to engage Nathaniel: What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get. Nathaniel was professional answering all our concerns; understanding when we had to reschedule; punctual on the actual day; and provided excellent direction for the photos. The final result turned out absolutely gorgeous and he even gave us some as album covers as a gift, which was so very nice of him. Highly recommend Nathaniel for any photography needs you might have!

We were looking for a photographer and chanced upon Nathaniel's website. I really like his work and so we contacted him and got a response very promptly. Nathaniel was very accommodative, patient throughout , from arranging for a date and venue to the day of the shoot. We were awkward with the poses and smiles but Nathaniel guided us patiently and was encouraging. Thank you Nathaniel, for making our experience joyful and memorable.

Choosing Nathan for our ROM photography is the greatest choice. Nathan is very professional and accommodating as he even brought accessories such as umbrella & veil. We truly appreciate for his efforts. He well captured the moment of joy, and memories through his photography. Despite we both not sure about how to pose & how to react to camera, he made us very comfortable with the entire process of photoshoot. Me, my husband and my friends enjoyed on the day as well as we much satisfied with end results of his work, photos are amazing and stunning. The price is very reasonable and beyond worth to pay on your special day.

We engaged Nat for our prewedding shoot, looking for a reasonably priced, no-frills and professional photographer. Nat met all our expectations, as he was helpful with location suggestions, logistics (he even brought tape that we used to repair my fiancee's torn dress!) and also aftercare. He was able to let us have sample photos quickly after the shoot so we could use them for our wedding website, and followed up with all the photos shortly after - which were beautifully taken and we are very satisfied with. Highly recommended!
