Ordered chicken for 2 plus bean sprouts and 2 rice $12 + $3 + $2. I think their soup is GOAT amount chicken rice. But their soup of the day always seems to be peanut soup. Regardless their chicken are generally springy even though it might not be the most tender. The oily sauce makes them moist and tasty. Rice is average while dou ya is a bit dry when not mixed well with the oil below. Serving size for very good for 2 people i guess. Too bad gizzard was sold out.

Delicious chicken rice - both the steamed and roasted chicken are very tender, and I like the addition of fried garlic! The peanut soup is very good as well!!

A heartening chicken rice set meal at $6.30 only. Owner seems to take cue from many other popular stalls - the deep fried diced garlic reminds me of the chicken rice from Katong Shopping Centre, the delightful chicken sauce probably inspired by the Far East Plaza stall and the complimentary slow boiled soup with ingredients more than soup reminiscing the HK Roast stall at Bukit Batok. The similarities may be just coincidence but I got what I like about from various stalls now all at one stall.

Best chicken rice in bishan. Meat was super tender (even for breast meat) Rice isn't too oily. Best thing is the free soup which is super delicious.

No ginger sauce-- first thing that came to mind. And rightly not needed. The chicken itself is delightfully tasty and that's more than enough. Even the chili sauce was ignored through out me enjoying the meal. The soup was really good too, boiled chicken feet and peanut. This store is an absolute pleasant surprise.

Today my Lunch order steam drumstick rice $4.80, the chicken portion is small and come with bean sprouts on the bottom. Chicken meat is smooth. Rice taste is good and not very strong taste like typical chicken rice. The free soup is a bonus, taste is good.

The pricing was pretty decent, especially with the current price hike all over Singapore. Comes with free soup too. I was given peanuts and chicken soup for my recent visit. The set came with a huge serving of bean sprouts too!

My girlfriend and i swear by this store! The service at Bishan is pretty good. The chicken is tender and come with generous topping. Peanut soup is free and refillable!
