Not your run of the mill Nasi Lemak. Fragrant rice w/ sweet and spicy sambal ✅ Savoury, tender Grilled chicken ✅ Well spiced, crispy fried chicken ✅ Egg w/ runny yolk ✅ Otah done just right ✅ Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Everything I look for in a nasi lemak and more. Got the sausage sharing platter. The rice - soft, fluffy with a hint of coconut aroma. I don’t like nasi lemak rice that have an overpowering taste of coconut milk so this is just perfect. Sambal - on the tad sweet side but I like it nonetheless. I’m okay if the sambal doesn’t pack a punch as long as it’s well balanced. Sausages are flavourful and the garlic cream sauce is a nice embellishment to it. Found the chicken cutlet and bacon okay only but the other aspects more than made up for it. Will 100% come again to try their fried chicken wings and surf and turf. Lovely!!! Edit: repeated visit, tried their surf and turf and turmeric fried chicken. Beef was done soooo well, juicy and tender. Fried chicken too. Will patronise again~

Malaysia style and standard Nasi Lemak ~ The sambal really performs and BEST , I even top up more sambal on my meal ~ The otah is not bad and got standard in sg and dun forget the BBQ boneless chicken is super nice and worth to wait for it . The meal is enough for my super big stomach and the boss's altitude is polite and friendly with all customers ~

got the bbq salmon set + chicken wing. ($14) this place really lives up to its hype! it’s definitely more novel than the usual Nasi lemak places with steak/smoked salmon as choices. the salmon was well-cooked, skin was sooo crispy! rice was fragrant and everything was nicely assembled. the chicken wing has a western fried chicken taste. the sambal is to be raved about — smoky and umami. will be back for more!

Really yummy nasi lemak - rice was very fragrant and not cloying. Not your usual kind of nasi lemak with fried processed meat but whole meat protein like salmon, steak and chicken thigh. Fits my macros! Everything was done simply and perfectly just how i envisioned a good nasi lemak + upsized real meat Will definitely visit again : )

We ordered boneless nasi lemak for our Nursing home patients. The rice was so soft n can't compliment enough on the sambal, was so tasty. Happy that my Residents love it. Worth the money. First time eating here as workplace is nearby and recommended to eat here by colleagues. The rice in the nasi lemak itself is hands down the best I have tasted in Singapore so far, both texture and taste-wise. Sambal is on the spicy side but its flavourful and savoury and sweet. Otah is on point with the flavour and taste, pointed out by all my colleagues as well. Chicken cutlet could be bigger, but nothing to really complain about. It was a different experience having a sunny egg instead of the usual omelette that you might have with the normal nasi lemak, but I could see the extra effort put into the eggs with the pepper (bro, maybe can try put a bit of salt on the eggs also). Overall, my colleagues and I will definitely patronise your stall frequently.

I've been meaning to visit for quite some time and finally had the opportunity to do so today! Came with friends that weren't too keen on having nasi lemak but their minds were blown away by the taste. We had a sample of each other's orders and agreed that the steak was the best. The taste of the steak is comparable to those offered at high-end restaurants and it went well with the nasi lemak. The portion is alright for the price and the sambal is awesome!! Maybe I'll try the rest of the menu next time. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Freshly fried chicken wing with fragrant coconut rice and amazing sambal is well worth the wait. The owners are really friendly as well. If you're lucky, the friendly ginger cat that hangs around nearby might give you a meow or two when he walks past you.

Who needs Wooloomooloo when you can get a lip-smacking Aussie steak right here at Soulfood haha. Ordered the Surf & Turf Nasi Lemak and felt that it was a really fantastic pairing, the nasi lemak rice and sambal on the one side and deliciously marinaded ribeye steak on the other. Highly Recommended!!

Food truly deserves the label of a "hidden gem". $6 for nasi lemak with peanuts and ikan bilis, sausage, fish filet, and egg, very worth the price. Taste is consistent and good
