third time getting a tattoo with joy but first time posting. every session has been a wonderful experience with joy being very detailed in explaining pre and aftercare of the tattoo. the process of ideating the pieces together with her is always very smooth and she provides good insight into the placement and size of the pieces as well due to her experience. came for just a tattoo but ended up having a great conversation as well. would defnitely recommend getting a custom tattoo with her or even the pretty flashes she posts on her instagram.

The most awesome, fantabulous, creative, down to earth and experience-skillful tattoo artist I ever met ❤️❤️❤️! From enquiry to curation and delivering the master piece of hers on my shoulder blade, the process is just so seamless. I approach joy to curate my first origami tattoo because I love how she interprets the meaning of every tattoo she design. Not knowing what I want to ink, I told her the reasons & values that reasonate with me at this point in my life to do this. She listens and fulfill them by customizing this lovely fawn of mine. #I have no regrets and can't wait for my next tattoo with her when I'm back✨✨✨!

one of the most talented tattoo artists i know. she freehanded a cover up for me. the process was so collaborative and the tattoo came out wonderfully. nobody could tell it was a cover up except those that knew me and i kept getting compliments on it! the pain was minimal and her style is so unique, there is a ‘hand drawn’ quality to it that makes it look like the piece always belonged there. thanks Joy! 😍

Joy is a fabulous artist! She created four pieces for my husband and me inspired by the design references I shared with her. She was quite patient and understanding in the process of creating the piece too and we absolutely loved her designs. More than anything, she is amazingly skilled at her work. She put us at ease at once. It was my husband’s first tattoo and she made us feel super comfortable throughout the process. She uses only vegan ink which was a huge plus for us too.
