Good chicken rice, lean deboned chicken meat served with rice that's not oily. Generous serving, value for money. Will appeal to those health conscious as the meal is prepared clean and not oily.

Really quite a below average plate of chicken rice. Chicken was tough despite ordering the thigh part. Rice is quite stellar though, a good bite and fragrant but that’s bout it for me.

There is always a long queue at Tong Kee so I finally decided to find out why. Ordered a white chicken (tail) rice. Rice was fragrant, not too oily. A little more ginger fragrance that your typical chicken rice. The chicken was good. Smooth and tasty. Perfectly cooked. As for condiments, the ginger is nice but the chilli is just very subtly on the sweet side. Overall, I would say I understand why there is a queue now.

The Roasted Chicken Rice was decent. We got the $4 (small) and $6 (large) option. It had a rather long queue when it just opened at about 10am on a Sunday. They also sell Char Siew and Roasted Pork, which I did not try.

One of our favorite chicken rice in Singapore. Very dedicated and when we take away, the soy sauce for the chicken, and char siew sauce for the rice is separately packed. Rice is very soft and fragrant and goes very well with the sauce. With the closing down of Tanglin Halt hawker centre, uncle will be moving to the newly built Margaret Drive hawker centre in August.

Chicken can be abit dry. But they are generous with portions. 5.50 for chicken+roasted pork belly rice with braised egg.

Absolutely the best chicken rice I've probably ever had in the years I spent living in Singapore. The two who own it are super friendly and always eager to serve customers. They knew me every time I came by, and always had my order prepared before I even had a chance to speak often. The chicken was always moist, full of flavour and no bones to deal with, and never fatty.The rice was fragrant. And the sesame sauces they put over it are delicious. Then you of course get to top it off with chili and black sauce is you like (I always went for loads of both). Portions are $3, $4 and $5, and will keep you full. Do be warned that they often run out of food by 2pm on some days due to be insanely popular, and theres usually a bit of a queue. But it's so worth it.

Best chicken rice in Singapore! They cook their rice manually in a giant pot instead of a rice cooker, and it makes a huge difference. The rice is much more chewy and fragrant, and their Chili sauce is the best. My family’s favourite for many years.

I've been eating at this stall for years but not for the chicken rice. I kept coming back because of the braised egg and gravy. When you add on an egg, it comes with gravy. This magical gravy kept me coming back for more

Solid Chicken! Ordered Roasted/Black chicken one plate and was impressed with the seasoning as well the tenderness. The mouthfeel and taste of each bite makes you crave another and another, till you're done wolfing down the whole plate and reach an ultimate realization that the plate is finally empty. If you are a man, order a lardge portion and whack one plate of solid chicken rice for your choice of meal. No regrets, will RT!

The fried rice has distinct grains, and the chicken is fragrant and tender. It is indeed a famous brand here.

Finally, I found a chicken rice stall that doesn't flatten the chicken and cut it into pieces. This alone is worth 4 stars. The chicken and rice are both delicious. Although it takes a while to queue, it's worth it.
