Very efficient operations manned by 2 chefs in the kitchen and 1 out front, churning out grilled and fried dishes almost every minute! Having seen my friends order and receive their western delights within minutes of ordering, I decided to try it one night when I had the appetite to dine after exercising. 🐠 the fish and chips wasn’t what I anticipated, it didn’t even look like fish at the onset.. while it’s rather fresh and decent in portion, I didn’t quite like the batter. 🍞 it’s also a little weird for them to give a packaged bun for each meal, which I turned down since I probably won’t eat it Probably can return to try their grilled selection in future if I’m feeling up for it.

Sizeable portion for its price. Ordered the chicken chop and requested to change the sauce to the famed garlic sauce. Honestly, not a big fan of the garlic sauce as it's too sweet for me and the fragrance of the garlic is quite mild. Would have preferred a more savory and garlicky sauce. Otherwise, chicken chop is well-cooked and tender. Coleslaw is nice and crunchy. Fries are standard. Gotta wait during dinner time, they do give you a buzzer.

The pork chop which is the signature seem to have dropped in standards. The meat seem to be very pale and just heated up without any char.. seemingly texture-like microwaved. Hope that the standards will improve.

Honestly this is a very lovely rendition of what we call local western food. It's not really western in the grander scheme of things, but as children, we considered anything with french fries, western food. They do a great chicken chop here, very much like that of Astons, but with a hawker price point. Service is fast, and they have automated various processes, like buzzing when it's your time, digital payments, etc. It works, if you feel like eating something less local-local.

My must order every time I come for dinner at old airport road. Literally grew up eating this. As far as I can remember, the taste remained consistent throughout my thirty over years. The garlic sauce is unquestionably the star of the dish. Sweet with a hint of spiciness from the garlic. 2 decent size of pork chop coupled with fries and coleslaw. No more baked beans though. The price obviously went up due to inflation but at least the portion remain the same. Update : Oct 2024 visited at 6pm on a Friday From 4 stars to 3 stars for a couple of reasons : Ordered my usual pork chop again and was excited to eat it again after such a long renovation, i was disappointed with the standard. Both the sauce and the meat were off. The garlic spiciness of the sauce was mellow and it was barely sufficient for the 2 pork chops. Out of the 2 pieces of pork chop, 1 of it was both dry and tough. (I truly hope it was a one off) To top it off, the bread was missing, when I asked about it, the lady said they had given out all their “complimentary” bread. Maybe practise a bit of humility by apologising and said it’s sold out. Having eaten their western food for the past 30 over years, I’ll give it another shot when I revisit.

Good price, fast service. Tried pork chop and chicken chop. Generous portion, comes with fixed sides of coleslaw and French fries. Coleslaw is nice, French fries are crispy outside and soft inside. Pork chop coated with garlic related and different kind of sauce. Bread bun sliced with butter in it. Overall, good value and taste for local western food.

Ordered the crispy fried chicken for takeaway. HUGE piece of chicken. Wished the portion of fried can be bigger tho cuz I love fries. But after eating everything I was super full so it's the right portion I guess. Tender and well seasoned chicken!!!

One of my favorite Western food stall that sells authentic grilled meat! Although the price went up (lamb chops at $10), the meat was well grilled, the garlic sauce was really tasty and the portion is generous! It's really worth coming down to Old Airport Food centre to try it!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Have been patronizing this western food store for easily over 20 years. Even till today, it has been one of my family's favorite. something that i have always been ordering is the Pork Chop ($6.50). the meat is very tender, for that price, the portion is very generous. What really set them apart is their very special garlic sauce. they will get crowded during lunch and dinner time.

Definitely one of the iconic stall in Old airport hawker. However really hope you can look more into grilling of your steaks. Not the first time I have encountered raw portions in the steaks served.. Please keep your stoves checked and serviced. Definitely I am not the first customer facing this issue since shortly after I collected my "re grilled" portion, another customer came with the similar request

This is definitely the best chicken chop you can find in any hawker centres. I would advice to either go without the garlic sauce or have them leave it at the side. However I wouldn't recommend any others other than the chicken chop. But the mixed grill is definitely worth it if you have a huge appetite!

My favourite Western Food in Singapore. I know western food can mean Spanish, French, British, but just in case, western food in a hawker setting means cutlets, grilled meats and Fish & Chips. The garlic sauce that they serve with their pork chops – heavenly. Go for the mixed grill, its $10, it comes with a piece of lamb chop, pork chop and chicken chop topped with a sunny side up. You can switch your sides from fries to coleslaw, that’s what I do most of the time. This place is popular, expect a 10-15 minute wait during lunch and dinner. They will bring you the food when it is done, so you can wait in the comfort of your hawker center seat.

I find it weird that they have this garlic sauce that greatly enhance the taste of their chicken chop yet they do not add them by default and serve the meat without any sauce, you have to request for it to be added. Unlike other reviews that rave abt their crispy fries, the ones I had today are tasteless and seems under fried.

I will only order the extra large fried chicken steak topped with unique garlic sauce Suitable for diners with heavy tastes, otherwise they may not be able to tolerate the smell of garlic. Not like those thinly breaded chicken steaks, but thickly marinated and floured fried chicken steaks I feel like I'm dying after eating the entire group every time.
