Reviews of Yong He Seafood Bak Chor Mee
Love coming here as the service is good and the uncle always carry a smile. With do much love, the mee kia were cooked just right al dente with enough bite. Ingredients were good and the mushroom were plump and juicy.
Certainly good bowl of mee pok, be it the usual trad or signature seafood. The noodles are q, dark sauce and chilli just the right balance, the ingredients are all cooked just nice, tender and flavourful. The mushrooms are really superb! The soup is still decent. Stall owners are really patient and friendly speaking in calming tones, certainly adds to the experience. Overall a good bowl of mee pok if you are in the area.
As mentioned, the assistant was frequently throwing the bowls n cutlery into the pail when sorting them. It’s not comfortable eating here trying to enjoy this good bowl of noodles.
First time trying the BCM. The stall offers quite a variety of BCM; traditional, seafood and signature. Tried the traditional and seafood BCM, mixed with Chili and vinegar, taste pretty good. The noodle which they used are different which is very al dente, not soggy and goes very well with the sauce. Friendly staff and a good bowl of BCM, would recommend.
Definitely just go for the Signature noodles with a good mix of everything. Surprised that their La La is so meaty. Overall generous amount of good ingredients. Watercress are crunchy and soup is nice too. Shiok. Wished there was an option for ordering kway teow or bee hoon though.
-noodles are spectacular, fresh, soft and tangy the mee pok is definitely one for be best I have eaten
-ingredients for a $5 price tag is generous, the seafood was fresh!
-the only gripe I have is the sauce can be slightly salty side so you might want to dilute it with some soup

Stall : Yong He : Minced Meat Seafood Noodle.
@ Coffeeshop : 18BrewCoffee , blk 18 Bedok South road. (Opp. to Temasek Junior College/ Opp. to Bedok South Food Centre.
It’s family lunch here …
Ordered a $7 version of their signature : Seafood Bak Chor Mee (Mee Kia) @ $7.00/ bowl 🍜 + soup 🥣.
Established 8 years ago, survived the onslaught of popular ex-Master Chef Ban Mian, just next door 🚪 as it found a niche in the eyes of high tasting Bak Chor Mee who craved for special Seafood fares of Abalone + Scallop which enticed me very much ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
Watching the owner cum boss to whip up the Mee Kia as he blanched and blended with his home made sambalised chillies 🌶 and dark sauce mixed w/ vinegar perfectly; cooked well and plated beautifully by the assistant.
Ingredients: Mid sized prawn 🍤 freshly cooked, Lala 🐚, slice of abalone (real thing) + scallop (also the real thing ! 🤣), minced meat, lots of pork lard + braised mushroom 🍄, lettuce 🥬 vegetables ! 😮 🤩 ⭐️ 👍
The other Oomph coming from the soup broth, infused with all the seafood stuff of sweetness; both flavourfully + tastefully done ✅ w/o a tinge of MSG, as no thirst thereafter … 🤩 👍
Come, savoury the goodness of his flair of Bak Chor Mee (w/ high end version at $16 while it’s basic version at $4.50) ; U shall never be disappointed ! 😅😜
Cheers

Very friendly noodle Uncle with secret recipe to his seafood meepok and noodles ! Located at 18 Bedok South Road, corner coffee shop, he is well know for his noodles on weekends, and Wed to Friday! From 7 am to 3 pm.
Recommended highly dish : Signature seafood noodles comprising of scallop, braised mushroom, prawn, welk, and minced pork. Each bowl also comes with a piece of special kong bah ( small piece ) . And it is only $5.00 for that bowl.
The noodles are cooked just nice , not too hard or soft and his sauce is Super delicious. Go try it. You won’t regret it ! Enjoy !
Tasty seafood noodles that is chock full of ingredients - the signature noodles (S$5) comes with one decent-sized fresh prawn, 3 la-la clams, one large scallop, a slice of imitation abalone and braised mushroom slices. For a dollar more you can add 3 meatballs. There are other more expensive options (eg larger prawn) but I did t notice the prices.
For those who love fried lard, Yong He has beautifully fried chee yao char, just ask.
Tasty and flavourful bcm with prawn, scallops and a slice of abalone too👍 very nice and friendly boss cooking the noodles
I had the $7 Signature Seafood BCM. Slightly pricey for a neighbourhood coffeeshop but definitely value for money.
It is a very filling bowl of BCM with 1 chunky scallop, 2 medium-size prawn, 2 sliced of abalone, 4 clams and 1 meatball.
Other than the signature, you can opt for the standard BCM ($4.5) or the King prawn seafood bowl ($16).
If you are around in the east, give it a try!
My wife saw this stall while shopping around Bedok South. We tried their signature noodle $7. The stall holder was friendly and courteous. Lots of fresh ingredients and tasty too. 😋
Had traditional bak chor mee pok. Not bad, not bad…quite nice. Will be back for more.
Quite good, noodle can be better.
I order the seafood Bak Chor mee.
Noodles was on point, seafood was fresh and the Bak Chor mee was delicious.
Flavourful mee kia with good portion of ingredion that includes mushroom, good size prawn, scallop and mock abalone all for the price of $5. I don‘t usually eat mee kia but the mee kia here is the thin flat one so more chewy. The uncle cooking the noodles is super nice. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
Went with a colleague who found raving reviews of the noodles. Noodles was al dente, the portion was generous. But I did think that the sauce was too salty and lacked body. The soup was umami goodness, but again lacked body as well.
This is so good, the picture doesn't do it enough justice. You have to head down to try!! The uncle was really friendly and asked us where we came from and asked for feedback about his food. Very honest and down to earth chap who was happy serving good food to his customers.
Absolutely delicious!!
very good noodle!! value for money. fresh prawns and ingredients. will go again!
Good. Lots of ingredients in their signature noodles including lala, scallop and abalone.
Bak Chor Mee with lots of ingredients. Seafood is fresh. Value for money.
Very good noodles. Must try. Even the meat balls are hand made
5 bucks for a bowl of bak chor mee with scallops. Totally worth it.
Portion is a bit small but tastes a bit above the average BCM.
Excellent. 👍
Nice stallholder that always serve you with a smile. We need more positive vibes
