Had white fried carrot ($3) for breakfast, was extremely good & generous portion too, I'll be back to try the black version.

Very good chye tow kway with old school chili and very soft ‘kway’. Ordered the black version which was a good choice. Overheard order behind me asking for less black sauce, but make it more charred. This was obliged and I think is nice too. Line was endless, but moved very fast. Waited at most 5 minutes.

Where seniors flock then must be gold difficult to fry good carrot cake sold yet nice aroma cracking skin & no grease even if it’s Knife brand oil uncle uses old but solid gold white or black (version) that kept a constant stream back Bedok’s heritage flavours

You must try their black version of carrot cake. Their carrot cake is traditionally handmade, very old school type, and best part, it is vegetarian. Their carrot cakes are soft, sweet and nicely burnt, with generous amount of eggs and chye poh (preserved radish) in them, coated in sweet black sauce. Each plate just costs $2.50 only, which is quite wallet friendly too.

Delicious vegetarian-friendly carrot cake at reasonable price, portion size is good. Can customize by requesting for no egg / chilli/coriander etc if desired. Stall is run by friendly elderly uncles. Will visit again!
