My go-to stall at the hawker centre for CKT! Effective 2mths ago (Jul 2023), they had stopped selling the salted/silver fish fried rice and only sell CKT now, for ~4hrs only from Mon-Fri. As per an earlier review, the Uncle will only fry one plate at a time. He will pre-fry lightly a bigger portion first and then put it aside. The CKT has deep wok hei, lup cheong, cockles, with crunchy pork lard (and perhaps one will also suffer some post-CKT MSG effects;-).. Go before 7pm to ensure you get your order (I recommend the $5 one). The Uncle’s daughter said they usually open from ~4pm till they sell out ~8pm (stall is closed on Sat & Sun). But on a Mon night when I was there, the shutters came down mid-way at 7.20pm - luckily, all the queuing customers got their orders fulfilled. [Edit on 27/3/24] the $5 portion has shrunk significantly, so I have changed the 5-star rating to a 3.

Pretty good CKT, cooked a plate at a time. I would prefer less yellow noodles and for then to be cooked softer but nonetheless, a CKT worth its calories!
